We
ate
where
they
wanted,
what
they
wanted
and
when
they
wanted!
Perhaps
one
of
the
worst
culinary
experiences
in
my
life:
I
took
my
husband
(American)
to
see
"one
of
the
best
known
restaurants
in
Bogotá"
and
what
a
bad
experience
we
had.
I
had
already
read
a
couple
of
articles
where
ACDR
was
branded
as
being
run
by
elitists,
puppets
and
superficial,
but
that
night
we
lived
it
in
the
flesh,
ironically,
our
own.
I
do
not
know
what
is
the
criteria
in
which
they
set
to
grant
a
table,
but
that
night,
despite
going
and
presentable
and
neat
(which
is
what
the
host
/
hostess
/
manager
should
care
about)
they
put
us
on
the
right-bottom
side
of
the
bar,
where
there
was
hardly
another
table,
that
is,
there
were
only
two
tables
in
that
poorly
lit
"living
room",
away
from
EVERYTHING,
from
the
lights,
the
music,
the
decoration,
the
view,
well
...
we
felt
like
eating
in
the
toilet
room
and
despite
having
requested
a
change
to
a
slightly
better
located
table,
we
were
not
successful.
We
waited
half
an
hour
for
them
to
live
to
take
our
order,
two
young
men
who
obviously
needed
more
training
and
after
waiting
for
our
food
for
another
half
hour,
one
of
the
waiters
came
up
to
tell
us
that
two
of
the
four
cuts
we
had
ordered
were
no
longer
available.
,
I
mean,
are
you
serious?
Who
manages
inventory
in
that
restaurant
that
doesn't
realize
they
are
running
low
on
product?
What
system
do
you
use
to
inform
the
waiter
that
you
can
no
longer
offer
certain
dishes
because
they
ARE
OVER
?!
Why
do
they
inform
the
client
HALF
AN
HOUR
later
that
they
do
not
have
the
cut?
Then,
the
customer
has
to
bother
looking
for
something
else
on
the
menu,
another
dish
that
he
did
not
feel
like
eating
that
night,
due
to
the
incompetence
of
the
ACDR
staff.
And
about
the
prices,
let's
not
even
talk
...
we
spend
almost
500,000
COP
on
a
"dinner"
for
four
people:
two
half
breasts,
because
they
don't
even
serve
the
whole
breast
to
one
person,
two
pork
loins
of
less
than
200g,
four
lemonades
and
two
beers!
Is
it
okay
to
charge
in
dollars
(because
those
prices
have
to
be
in
USD
to
explain
how
inflated
they
are)
for
a
bad
experience,
a
must
have
menu
and
mediocre
service?
Clearly
NO
to
me.
In
any
restaurant
in
the
USA,
you
pay
$
30
for
a
20oz
Certified
Angus
Ribeye
and
they
don't
serve
you
the
whole
cow,
because
it
won't
fit
on
the
plate
...
Very
disappointed
in
my
experience
in
this
place,
but
grateful
because
NEVER
IN
MY
LIFE
I
will
step
on
it
again.

(Original)
Comimos
donde
les
dio
la
gana,
lo
que
a
ellos
les
dio
la
gana
y
cuando
a
ellos
les
dio
la
gana!
Tal
vez
una
de
las
peores
experiencias
culinarias
en
mi
vida:
Llevé
a
mi
esposo
(americano)
para
que
conociera
"uno
de
los
restaurantes
más
conocidos
en
Bogotá"
y
qué
mala
experiencia
nos
llevamos.
Ya
había
leído
un
par
de
artículos
donde
tildaban
a
ACDR
de
ser
manejado
por
elitistas,
fantoches
y
superficiales,
pero
esa
noche
lo
vivimos
en
carne,
irónicamente,
propia.
No
sé
cual
sea
el
criterio
en
el
cual
se
fijan
para
otorgar
una
mesa,
pero
esa
noche,
a
pesar
de
ir
y
presentables
y
aseados
(que
es
lo
que
debería
importarle
al
host/hostess/manager)
nos
pusieron
en
el
costado
derecho-fondo
del
bar,
donde
apenas
cabía
otra
mesa,
es
decir,
sólo
habían
dos
mesas
en
ese
"salón"
escasamente
iluminado,
alejado
de
TODO,
de
las
luces,
la
música,
la
decoración,
la
vista,
en
fin...
nos
sentíamos
comiendo
en
el
cuarto
del
aseo
y
a
pesar
de
haber
pedido
cambio
a
una
mesa
medianamente
mejor
ubicada,
no
tuvimos
éxito.
Esperamos
media
hora
para
que
vivnieran
a
tomarnos
la
orden,
dos
jovencitos
que
evidentemente
necesitaban
más
entrenamiento
y
luego
de
esperar
por
nuestra
comida
otra
media
hora,
se
acerca
uno
de
los
meseros
a
decirnos
que
dos
de
los
cuatro
cortes
que
habíamos
pedido
ya
no
estaban
dispopnibles,
o
sea,
es
en
serio?
Quién
maneja
el
inventario
en
ese
restaurante
que
no
se
da
cuenta
que
se
está
quedando
corto
en
producto?
Qué
sistema
emplean
para
informarle
al
mesero
que
ya
no
puede
ofrecer
determinados
platos
porque
SE
ACABARON?!
Por
qué
le
informan
al
cliente
MEDIA
HORA
después
que
no
tienen
el
corte?
Entonces,
tiene
el
cliente
que
incomodarse
buscando
otra
cosa
en
el
menú,
otro
plato
que
no
le
apetecía
comer
esa
noche,
por
culpa
de
la
incompetencia
del
personal
de
ACDR.
Y
de
los
precios,
ni
hablemos...
gastamos
casi
500.000
COP
en
una
"cena"
de
cuatro
personas:
dos
medias
pechugas,
porque
ni
siquieran
le
sirven
la
pechuga
entera
a
una
persona,
dos
lomos
de
cerdo
de
menos
de
200gr,
cuatro
limonadas
y
dos
cervezas!
Les
parece
bien
cobrar
en
dólares
(porque
esos
precios
tienen
que
estar
en
USD
para
explicar
lo
inflados
que
están)
por
una
mala
experiencia,
un
menú
obligado
y
un
servicio
mediocre?
A
mi,
claramente
NO.
En
cualquier
restaurante
de
USA,
pagas
$30
por
un
Certified
Angus
Ribeye
de
20oz
y
no
te
sirven
la
vaca
entera,
porque
no
te
cabe
en
el
plato...
Decepcionadísima
de
mi
experiencia
en
este
lugar,
pero
agradecida
porque
NUNCA
EN
MI
VIDA
volveré
a
pisarlo.
