The hotel he put us in was just perfect and his tour he arranged was so much fun a coffee plantation tour and a hike to the waterfalls through Minca. Everything went great. We are a family and there were six of us with four adult children. I planned the trip with Frank, describing our ideas, activity requests and places we would like to see. He created a travel plan that we then adjusted as desired. For various reasons, the trip became an adventure tour that suited us very well. I found the payment part difficult at first because you end up transferring money to distant Colombia. But if everything was handled properly, the concerns were unfounded. We had a lot of trouble along the way. Illnesses, injuries, canceled flights and so on. We were in constant contact with Frank almost every day; he really took excellent care of us, even on his own initiative. You really couldn't ask for anything better. If we were to travel to Colombia again, I would definitely organize it again with Pelecanus/Frank. Of course, you can plan and organize almost everything yourself, but Pelecanus relieves the burden considerably with perfect service.

Frank and his team did a great job organizing a three week, luxury tour of Colombia. They managed the details of the trip on a daily basis. For example, when our pre-return Covid testing site in Bogota was overwhelmed with patients, they automatically made alternative arrangements for us that sped up the testing process.

This summer we had a wonderful journey in Colombia organized by Pelecanus SAS. Together with the travel agency we set up the travel in the Santander region and on the Caribbean coast. We did two hikes, one in Santander region were we experienced the beauty of the nature in the rain forest, the heat and power of the canyons of Suarez and Chicamocha rivers and the coziness of the small villages on the way. The second hike was to the lost city in the Sierra Nevada jungle where we were confronted and challenged by the tropical forest and its life. The travel agency was very attentive to our wishes and proposed the travel which responded to our needs to see Colombia in the way we wanted. It even exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed the nature of Colombia, small villages and the people! The guides the travel agency organized (one in Santander region and the other guide during the lost city tour) were very professional and had a lot of knowledge about the regions and its people. At the same time they were very attentive to our wishes and needs and could adapt the journey where it was needed. Frank and the Pelecanus team planned our dream come true family vacation to Colombia. He curated an amazing 10 days which included visiting islands, renting a yacht, transportation from Baru to Santa Marta, a cleansing ceremony with the indigenous tribe, tubing down a river and so much more.
