It is highly recommended to reserve a table in advance at this restaurant. After we did that, we were given a table with a wonderful view over Lake Como at sunset. I ordered the truffle menu and can only recommend it to anyone who, like me, is a carpaccio and pasta lover. The waiter was very friendly and his wine recommendation was really excellent. The quality of the food justified the price.

This place was nice, with a free ride up the mountain. The view was nice, and we went at nighttime, where they lit two candles for each of us. The pasta with bolognese was very good, the tomato sauce tasting fresh and delicious! Although most restaurants have bad bread, this one was perfect, and it came with dipping sauces.

Wow! This was our first dinner in Varenna and this did not disappoint! The food and service were amazing! Definitely recommend this place! Free shuttle service as well! Can't wait to come back!

I was so excited to come and eat at this restaurant. Upon arrival we were seated unfortunately right next to the entrance. The service was great until I asked if we can be reseated since we reserved beforehand. The waiter seemed annoyed by my request and did not talk to me afterwards. He simply ignored us and out of a sudden everyone started to ignore us. This really clouded my experience and I could not enjoy my food (which was ok). However my partner really liked his food and said it’s tasty. I personally did not like the way they treated us. We actually planned to have a three course dinner but due to this experience we just ordered one dish. I hope no one will experience this again.

Worth the hike! The place is on the top of the hill. We walked from the dock and walked by foot to the resto. Apparently when we arrived, it's amazing. The view and the outdoor table are an amazing combo! The food was so nice too and the service was excellent. They gave us a pretty plate of appetizers, which is so good! And they have a drop point free service which took us the the city center so we dont need to walk down the hill again. Impressive experience!

Amazing restaurant, starting with its great sea view & cute terrace and keeping its promises throughout all meals. We had the meat menu option plus the burrata and it was all excellent. The tiramisu was also delicious. The cappuccino had a strong taste but we asked for more milk after which it was perfectly fine. The service is also outstanding, they are super nice and welcoming. I would recommend going to this restaurant to anyone who gets to Varenna as it is just a few minutes from the train or ferry.

Stumbled across this amazing restaurant but it was unfortunately fully booked. We arrived right at opening and they graciously sat us without a reservation. They greeted us with complimentary Prosecco and had great options for tasting menus. Would defiantly recommend for anyone in Varenna.

We had an amazing dinner for my birthday. The atmosphere was very nice, the view- amazing. The food was very tasty, although we waited a bit long for the third course. But the staff was very nice, they explained everything so well, and they were really friendly. We loved the experience.

The Veranda dei Pescatori has a beautiful outdoor area with a wonderful view of the lake. The service is friendly and accommodating. The food - I had fried fish from the lake - was tasty and plentiful. You can feel really comfortable here.

Fine dining but not with the fuss. Local ingredients, very very well priced for the quality. We recommend the fish starter- the pickled/ raw offerings were just fantastic! And a free lift back on the restaurant tuk tuk was unforgettable. Much better than the typical tourist restaurants of the area. Plus, a very good wine menu, and what a view!

Very charming and calm place, situated on the side of the mountain with a beautiful view of the lake Como. 5 star service, white covered tables and sun covers makes for a nice posh experiences 😌🍸 Fresh cut truffles and fish directly from the lake… As a bonus our weather drove us after lunch with a tuktuk through the city free of charge. If you up for an experience I really recommend it. Thank You.

The restaurant offers multiple complimentary food, offers great service, and the food is delicious. I found the prices to be reasonable for the given service and location. Note that you need to reserve in advance (at least a day in advanced), and you can request a shuttle to pick you up and drop you to your hotel (no additional fee). Highly recommended!

My family had a wonderful experience. We wanted to take our children (8, 12, 14) out for a special dinner during our visit to Italy, and this was the perfect choice. The service was incredible — Antonio, who seemed to do everything and be everywhere, was delightful, funny, attentive, and so kind to us. The food was wonderful, and we really enjoyed sampling the local lake fish dishes. The location and atmosphere are so lovely — beautiful terrace, gorgeous view, and relaxing vibe. At the end of the evening the restaurant offered us a ride down the hill in the adorable shuttle — much to the kids’ total joy. So many thoughtful touches throughout the meal made it an incredibly memorable dinner.

We came here for lunch and what we found...WOW! Very nice and quiet location, the view is just amazing! The service is impeccable, the waiters are very respectful and nice. The food was amazing! You should definitely come here when in Varenna!
