Came for a party in the back room. Place is functional, if a little dated, but clean. It's a J W Lees pub and that means it's mainly their beers available on tap. Prices are higher to be expected for the area (basically charging town centre prices). The function room is a fair size but if you don't have the numbers the atmosphere is flat. There is a beer garden/smoking area and overall I guess it's a regulars pub rather than somewhere to put on a list of Boltons must-visit pubs. No shame in that, a pub should serve it's locals and it appears to do that job.

Great atmosphere...2 pool tables, darts, private function room...friendly staff...

Bolton Balloon Fairies was asked to decorate the function room for a Halloween 6th Birthday Party and wow what a spacious function room, it's a superb place to hold any sort of event or party, The landlady was lovely and so accommodating, made sure we had everything we needed and even said store our LED number till the following day. I would definitely recommend having a look here if your planning an occasion as the room has a slightly raised upper level, stage, decent sized dance floor and it's own bar, even a corner where a buffet fits perfectly.

Want to say an absolute massive thank you to Bernie and her three lovely patient ladies behind the bar who put up with the kids backwards and forwards to the bar for drinks. Had a brilliant buffet all organised by Bernie. Drinks on door ready by the ladies. Making sure room was always The room was perfect for my daughters wedding reception. THANK YOU ALL AGAIN

Lovely place to go, it is a great venue for all kinds of parties as they have a large, rentable, function room and the staff here are lovely too 😊 They also have a launderette machine outside that washes and drys your clothes 😀

What an amazing family church one man describes it as it being just like being at home! I greatly recommend New Life at the Mossley pub Glory in the pub!

My daughter has just had her gender reveal today and have to say it was brilliant staff were helpful and very kind deffinatly will be booking again

There on business, clean warm and friendly place, the land lady is friendly and welcoming and has the cleanest celler I have ever seen!!! Happy to be going back 👍🏼

Big old fashioned pub. They don't make them like that anymore!
