The Brewery Tap

Bar

πŸ‘πŸ‘ Such a welcoming pub with a formidable choice of Black Edge ales brewed up the road in Horwich. Really top class service and rock bottom prices. A quieter room upstairs - so too are the toilets.

Really nice place, fantastic selection of 10 keg ales and 9 cask (plus ciders if that's your thing). Lots of seating both downstairs and upstairs.

Very good beer and an excellent, if unusual, banana rum for me last night. Still a very good bar this. - especially for grownups - (irritating teenyboppers seem thankfully few and far between) πŸ‘

Great place with great Ale. Very popular especially when the live music is on. A lovely little place to find yourself on a Sunday.

What do you want from a proper local beer pub? Great beer and excellent service in an agreeable setting. This is exactly what you get in Rivington Brewery's Brewery Tap. The lych pin to this operation is Kyle. His husbandry of the beer is perfect and his knowledge of every one is supreme. He can tell you which each one tastes like and after a few visits which beers he thinks you will like. The place is spotless and I am sure his sidekick Lauren has a lot to do with that. The lack of soft furnishings lends it to a very noisy room on Friday Saturday but Sunday lunchtime with a pint and a pork pie it is a perfect place to be.

We dropped in with friends on a Saturday night, quite busy, but the two bartenders on duty were both extremely pleasant and quick to serve the drinks. Very pleasant evening made more enjoyable because of the very good service.

Love the tap selection. Great ambiance, good prices. Is there a catch? They only serve pork pies (they’re amazing!!) or crisps.

Dreadful service- barged past my husband on 3 occasions - never once asked him to move (which he would have done) but really rather aggressive and unpleasant. Ended up accusing us of doing drugs and asked us to leave (as a group we’d spent over Β£200 and it was only 6pm). What a horrid experience. Moved onto the Beer School which was amazing

πŸ‘πŸ‘ First trip to Bolton in 47 years and thus first pint. A really lovely pint from Coach House Brewery. Coachman's Spring Ale. Really refreshing. Excellent choice of ales. Boss having their blueberry beer which is exceptional. Nice building and lovely staff. Only Spoons snobs would complain.
