Humber Valley Heritage Trail We started the trail through the town proper of Bolton. That time, there were displays on the history of the town as well as the points of interest along the trail.

The main trail is relatively easy, but the side trails can be quite steep for beginners. Make sure that you take your time around some of the corners. Overall the trail is very well kept with east to find trail markers. It's nice to have such a nice trail so close to Toronto.

It's a nice trail. I have hiked a couple of times. I noticed in my recent hike, many trees have been cut. I found several of them with larvae, I guess it's a plague. Oh well. Another thing, we found dozens of beer cans, we pick up some of them as we always do in our hikes. Hopefully, I'm coming back again soon since there will be a new section open in the other side of the river.

Great trail for any hiker. Some steep hills but not too difficult. Some portions are not maintained and have grass taller than you to bush wack through. Roughly 10km to the end of the trail and 10km back. Great trail for training for those big hikes.

Love the hike! A little bit challenging but manageable! Follow your own pace, wear proper outfit and gear, bring water and snacks! The fall colors is bright and delightful! Recommend at least 2 hours, so you can cover a decent portion of the trail. Of course you can go as far as you wish! Have fun!!!

This is a great trail - a little muddy but it’s that Time of year (April). Really steep dirt trails and a running river complete with multiple bridges to cross. Not to hard and fun for any age.

Very nice trail, has a few hills but nothing overbearing. Visited in May. Would suggest boots if it has rained or is drizzling :)

A small trail with ample of adventure. You have to park your car along the road side. But you will enjoy hiking over.

Very scenic and very enjoyable! There were lots of bugs so make sure to bring bug spray with you. The great views made up for the abundance of bugs though

Late June 2022, weekend, hot afternoon. Nice hiking trail while few mosquito at this time. Curbside parking spaces are no more than 4 on both north and south bank of Castlederg Side. Some kind hearted hikers hanged found car fob and key on the post.πŸ‘

Great place for a brief walk. Make sure you go with someone and don’t wander off alone. It’s beautiful and eery at the same time, someone placed a small statue beside the river that creeped me out. Be careful kids😁
