We ordered 3 Gin Tonics. They charged us 6.5€ EACH for a Gin Tonic which was blatantly and openly advertised for 3€ (see picture) (moreover mixed with Lidl brand Castelgy Gin, sold for 5,49€/bottle retail price). When we complained, the first reaction was to blatantly and aggressively say "you didn't request the special offer". We complained further, and they offered us ONE beer in compensation (for three people), so we walked. Absolutely highly unrecommended.

Great location, nice beer garden with views. Staff is a bit overwhelmed when this place is busy (not enough people to serve). One star off as this place is just business-stupid and accepts cash only. At 5 euro/beer and 10 euro/meal you need lots of cash to enjoy this place for a few hours. So we had 2 beers each and left to another place where you can pay by credit card...

It's mostly fine for a Bier or two with friends. But what are these "patatas bravas"? I would rate it higher but I refuse until they remove this abomination from the menu. At least change the name!

Seems good but unfortunately like many places here don’t seem to realise it’s 2023 and are still cash only, so we were unable to stay.

A nice place to have a beer with family or friends. You sit under a huge beautiful tree! And they are vegan friendly! There is VEGAN PIZZA, salads and vegetables with rice.

The location is, of course, amazing! Directly besides the Rhein, a huge tree covers the seating area (which consists of typical beergarden wooden benches and tables), there are always people playing petonque right next to it and there is always something happening on the meadow. The food is good, the service is great (when it is very busy you sometimes need a little bit of patience, but it never takes too long). Because of the close proximity to the inner city, Rhein and university, a "must do" (preferably somewhere after 17.00 o'clock) when visiting Bonn!

we waited half an hour to get served (and left the place without being served). the waiters were serving all of the other tables more than once while we stayed unattended, also, the location was less than half occupied when this happened

it's a great place, near the Rhein river and Bonn University, during the summer time,there will be free concerts for people, they are really awesome, it's cozy after work to drink and sth with friends or families, along with the beautiful music and river landscape.

Great place to drink a beer and watch over the river. Pizza's are ok and pretty small. Only cash payments!

I enjoyed a meal here on a beautiful day in late October. The environment is relaxing by the river and the food is good.

Loved the breezy, casual aura by the river. Perfect to enjoy beer! The only downside is the order takes some time.

Picturesque, 5 stars for location and atmosphere. The beer wasn’t cold and the Aperol Spritz was watery and lovelessly thrown together… much too expensive for that.
