Unique
and
Authentic
South
African
cuisine.
Lots
of
tapas
options,
including
a
sampler
plate
if
you
can't
decide.
I
went
with
the
chutney,
pickled
fish,
roasted
mixed
nuts,
and
green
herbed
hummus.
The
tapas
were
the
highlight
of
the
meal
for
sure,
great
balance
of
subtle
but
fresh
flavors
and
delectable
texture.
I
had
a
glass
of
South
African
wine,
which
was
refreshing
and
complex.
Did
not
taste
stale
as
it
was
a
fresh
pour
and
not
from
a
carafe.
Mains
were
great
too.
Butter
chicken
with
lime
was
the
better
of
the
two,
very
tasty
and
well-balanced
meal.
The
spiced
lamb
was
a
bit
underwhelming.
It
wasn't
spicy
at
all
and
generally
lacked
flavor.
Meat
was
of
good
quality.
Both
mains
were
served
with
a
crispy
papadum
cracker.
Service
was
great,
our
waiter
was
very
jovial
and
passionate
about
the
restaurant's
mission.
We
were
not
rushed
as
we
slowly
savored
the
tapas.
Menu
was
in
German
and
English.
Relaxing
cafe
environment
with
pillows
and
regional
decorations.
Pretty
sure
there
was
no
outdoor
seating,
but
we
sat
near
the
entrance
so
I
couldn't
tell
if
the
upstairs
section
was
a
terrace
or
not.
Highly
recommended
for
your
stay
in
Bonn,
just
a
few
steps
from
the
Rhine
River
and
a
busy
tram/bus
station.
This
type
of
food
is
rare,
so
try
something
new
and
exciting!
