Kleines Bistro / Restaurant. Gemütliche Atmosphäre im Wohnzimmerstil, ausgesuchte Weine, Essen (vorwiegend Flammkuchen) sehr gut. Sehr netter zuvorkommender Service. Ich gehe immer wieder gern hin.

This small, family friendly restaurant is like window to an alternate reality. The reality where we wait for our food patiently while it's cooked just in the same room while indulging some vary tasty wine. The atmosphere inside is so warm and friendly that you just want to stay or come back as soon as you can. The feeling is just one of those warm and fuzzy ones like you would have from your childhood. Their speciality, among other things, is the flammkuchen which is a thin layered bread with some onions and small-cut smoked meat. These all is prepared right there in the same room and baked in the oven right there so that you can smell your food cooking - like in your home. Their menu contains variety of flammkuchen prepared in different styles as well as some other home made yummy food which I wait for my next visit to taste. The best time to visit is in the evenings when all dine under the candle-light and view the pedestrian street life just outside on Rochusstraße where it is situated. The most memorable visit was during one winter evening when the inner magic of this establishment and the snow outside made one of the best experiences that I have experienced recently.

Erst dauert es eine gefühle Ewigkeit bis man bedient wird, bzw die Bestellung entgegen genommen wird und dann werden viele andere Gäste zuerst bedient und erst nach Nachfrage ob man vergessen wurde, werden erst weitere andere Gäste zuert bedient und es vergehen weitere viele Minuten, die in einer Mittagspause recht wertvoll sind. Dann erhält man die Essensausgabe mit nicht mehr ganz warmen Essen und einer durch Sosse ertränktem Stück, schlecht zubereitetem, Spießbraten, der alles andere als genießbar ist. Entweder ist der Koch heute nicht der gleiche oder hat einfach keine Ahnung von dem Produkt welches er anbietet. Die Qualität ist auf jeden Fall alles andere als empfehlenswert, auch der Service der noch vor Tagen als hervoragend von mir bezeichnet würde, hat heute alles dafür getan um einen Kunden zu verlieren. Jeder kann mal einen schlechten Tag haben, doch die aneinanderhängung von mehrern Faktoren innerhalb kürzester Zeit lassen doch sehr zu Wünschen übrig. Hierfür kann man nicht mal einen Stern geben doch muss man dies leider um die Bewertung zu posten. Ein guter Spießbraten zeichnet sich durch eine Kruste aus und einem saftigen Innenleben, hier jedoch handelte es sich nicht im Entferntesten um einen Spießbraten. Einfach nur eine sehr sehr große Entäuschung.

Bistro in Bonn Duisdorf, in der dortigen Hauptgeschäftsstraße. Parkplätze müssen in den Seitenstraßen gesucht werden. Es handelt sich eher um eine Weinstube mit angeschlossenem Bistro. Auf der überschaubaren Karte findet trotzdem jeder Gast ein passendes, sehr leckeres Gericht. Service super nett und zuvorkommend. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis passt
