The train station is already very old. Platforms 3 and 1 are not barrier-free. There is a direct connection to Koblenz only once an hour via the MittelrheinBahn.

Among the train stations in Bonn, Mehlem is pretty much the most daunting. It's actually a shame, as the neighboring districts of Mehlem and Rüngsdorf aren't that bad. But apparently the railway hasn't put a penny into this station since the end of the Second World War. Also bad: the platform towards Bonn and Cologne is barrier-free and the entrance here is at platform level. But things are different towards Remagen and Koblenz: here you have to climb in and out of the train and also climb a flight of stairs at the end of the platform. It's really bad, especially if you're a wheelchair user or otherwise have mobility problems. There is a lot to do here for the train!

The track numbering is 3, 1, 2. The loudspeakers are either too quiet or poorly distributed, so you can't understand the announcements everywhere. You cannot reach platforms 1 and 3 without climbing stairs or walking along the platform over the barrier in a prohibited manner. None of the new information boards with information about when which train arrives in which direction. Rain protection on platform 2 is rather moderate with 4 small cubicles. Either the smoking area is not marked, or you can just smoke anywhere. But otherwise a very solid station that serves its purpose.

Very old train station and trains are always late. Had to wait 2 hours and was late for school. No announcement that it is failing and no display showing whether it is failing or not. Also no security, no nothing. I would be happy if it gets an upgrade.

Run-down train station. Stamp machines are regularly broken. If you arrive by train from the direction of Bonn with a stroller or wheelchair, you cannot leave the station as there is no regular ground-level exit. The German Federal Railways have kindly covered the unsecured excavation pit with a barrier, which means that very few prams can now leave the track. However, this solution is not practical for wheelchairs, so the DB still needs to make improvements.

Construction site, around half of all trains are canceled. No announcement, no staff on site, no indication on the display strip that the trains are cancelled. The only clue is a small piece of paper posted. Great communication. IF TRAINS HAVE TO CANCEL, IT WOULD BE TOO MUCH REQUIRED TO INFORM YOUR CUSTOMERS REASONABLY

I have always had very, very bad experiences with these train stations (RB48, RB26, RB30)/stops (610,613,614,856,857). Trains are canceled as well as buses, so you're stuck in a nice place with mosquito problems for 30 minutes in the evening. The train station is also absolutely ugly. Also too many trains passing by there. It's a shame that you can't give minus stars otherwise -1,000,000,000☆

The process isn't exactly very nice, nor is it that nice when I see them. Most of the trains that used to stop here, the lighting at the station isn't very nice either

I haven't yet used this service, but I am giving it two stars because I am having to go through Google reviews to find out if I can purchase a ticket at this location and, if so, can I use a credit card. How can some of my graduate research be easier to dig up than this piece of information?

(Translated by Google) Easily accessible, great connection, but unfortunately only stairs, no chance for wheelchair users, strollers, etc.. (Original) gut erreichbar, prima Anbindung, aber leider nur Treppen, keine Chance für Rollstuhlfahrer,Kinderwagen usw..
