As per previous comments, we also got poor service, the person took the order for 2 white chocolates & a single tea, then we waited for about +30 mins just for somebody else to ask if we were ready to order something, we said we ordered already and have been waiting forever but our order was not even taken, they never got it, so we had to order again. It was just odd seeing other people (even a family) coming by after us, ordering, receiving their orders, and leaving before us. Not sure what happened but we can't recommend this place 🤷‍♂️

Waiter forgot to make our flammkuche, waited more dan 40 minutes for it. No free drink or discount...nothing. I was going to leave, but my daughter wanted to take the food with us. Flammkuche in a burnt pizza box and pay full amount. This place is also overpriced compared to the rest of Bonn.

I had a terrible experience with card payment there. We were asked to double pay because they just simply couldn’t confirm a simple card transaction which is clearly accepted by the device. They wouldn’t let us go without recording my name and even takine a picture of my credit card details. After 3 days they still haven’t replied my emails and my request to delete my private information. That is really annoying. After 2 months: they kept ignoring my emails and simply stayed silent. The Bar is located really nice but serviced by a terrible manager

Service is good. But don’t order cocktails here!!! They bring you mineral water and some ice… No alcohol, no taste. I drink and feel it like a water!!! It’s a pity… They are close to my home and good view from their terraces… But, anyway, Never again.

Flammkuchen is good and big, so if you have two people, order one is ok

A hidden gem of a spot for a cocktail or beer right on the river on a nice day. Make sure to go to the lower seating area for a spot direct on the water, but it is self-service, you have to order at the bar and wait for your order. The food was nothing special but that's not the focus.

The food was good but pricey, the atmosphere is nice and relaxing. The service was fine, but it was very slow despite the cafe being half empty. I think they didn't have enough staff on hand.

Very cool place to hang out on the river and enjoy some beverages. Unfortunately some music was missing, which would have contributed to the vibe! But very cool place, looking forward to coming back. ps. there is an upper and lower area, lower area is self service

"Handmade mint lemonade": a glass of sparkling water, with 2 leaves of mint and to transparent slices of lime, for 4,60€. I saw the preparation with my own eyes. Call it expensive sparkling water from a cheap bottle, at least one is left less disappointed...

Very good location but ambiance is not enough gut.

After a long wait, we managed to order drinks, I ordered a beer and after waiting for around 20 mins I got the wrong beer (even though they only have 3 varieties) then had to wait about 10 mins to tell someone that it's not what I ordered and then had to wait again for 10 mins to get the right one. So it just took around 45 mins to get a beer! The location is really nice though. The location and view is reason for the 3rd star! For the price of drinks (5.20 € for a beer), the service and the overall quality of the place was expected to be better.

We ordered Lemonades. It was nice and refreshing. I just did not liked the order of the tables on the river bank. We could not sit there because they were only 2 seater tables unfortunately. The place cool, cood view. I wish there was some more food options

I asked for a homemade lemonade, and I was served with a water with an ugly stem of mint and a slice of lemon. The bar guy which I assume was the owner of the bar didn’t even care to mix it at all and made us pay 4,60€. I mean sure but please call it a glass of sparkling water and not homemade lemonade. That was such a disappointment because as a customer you would expect that they know what they are doing but honestly this is not what you call a homemade lemonade. Especially when running a restaurant you do have a little responsibility of putting some effort to prepare what you put on the menu for 4,60€.

Very nice bar with a view over Rhein. Food is good, nice breakfast offer. Perfect for enjoying the sun in the morning. Staff is extremely nice and polite.

One of the most beautiful coffee shops 😍. Service was amazing and kind even though I stumbled through German they gave me a chance to try.

Nice place, staff is very friendly. Great cappuccino, very nice milk foam that apparently a lot of places are still having trouble with. But there's one problem: no cards accepted.

Really nice place, one of the best views of the river if you ask me, especially because you can sit right by the water! Very nice friendly staff. Good prices, and quick service. Sometimes they take a bit long, I've been there a few times, but only if it's very crowded or they may be short staffed that day - this is a common issue in Bonn, nothing to do with the place! The flammkuchen is yum, and their drinks are good. Unfortunately, on the day I went, they were booked for a wedding so they closed the restaurant early - I would say if you plan to go just give them a call or make a reservation. Otherwise, previously, we've always had a good time here.

I love to come to this place. I've been here many times already, I've sat in all different areas, outside, terrace or second floor, it's all really nice and clean. The service is pretty good, they really take care of You and make you feel really comfortable. I've been in summer and winter and it's always been a nice experience. I will keep coming back for sure.

Dear potential customers and manager(s) of the cafe, It is the third time that I’m regretting that i have been in the cafe Rhine pavilion which probably has one of the best views in Bonn. I don’t understand why it is so hard to wait the visitors and not making them wait for over 20 minutes.Not only the service is super slow and there is basically no proper attention paid to the customers, but also the orders get delayed all the time. Tonight we ordered a beer from fass an Aperol spritz, arrived after 30 minutes. Not having the candles lighted on our table.. seeing from other customers doing so, i took the effort to light them up. What I also don’t get is that, there is no “sorry” for all these, none of the times! After all, you think you are having a nice Aperol, sadly you only get a bubbly drink with some aperol aroma in it. Long story short, please change this. You are a beautiful cafe with great potential!

It's an amazing place with wonderful service and a breathtaking view! You MUST visit this place at least once since you're in Bonn
