This is somewhat hidden unless you live in the housing development. There is a small parking lot beyond the gates. Actually to the left is a paved trail that runs between a pond on the left and a stream on the right. All flat and super easy. It goes to another side of the development and does not loop. We saw what looked like a rat in the pond. Odd. Because it dived I to the water. But there were two momma ducks and their ducklings! So cute ☺️ Back to the parking lot. The trail straight ahead that starts out on a bridge for a good portion of it. When that ends it's climbs at a pretty good elevation with alot of series of 3 steps and ground. Then it levels when you come to the top by the school. Be aware there is an ant mound to the left off trail. The trail continues by the school and a fence until it turns the corner and ends at another portion of the housing development. An excellent wake you up in the morning kind of walk 😁 Enjoy!

Nice walk in the woods if you can find it. Trailhead is in a subdivision essentially unmarked. Check your map, Google street view and here are some pictures. All you see is houses from 110th x 185th, the trailhead is three houses to the right. Notice, there is parking if you know about the alley at 11112 185th. Then the bridge and some stone stairs. When you get to the end at the elementary school the best move is to retrace your steps on the trail, most of the roads do not cross the creek, so you could be in for a very long and confusing suburban walk. I am guessing some Bonney Lake official is up to no good not putting signs in to make this a private park for the neighborhood.

Super short hike over a long bridge and some sets of stairs. It leads to an elementary school. We didn’t go all the way to the actual school as we weren’t interested in that but turned back around and hike back and decided to go under the bridge and check out the creek a bit. Beautiful little hidden gem, in the middle of a neighborhood. The steps are a good little work out. My 10 year old enjoyed this hike. My 1.5 liked climbing the stairs but needed to be carried most of the way. Can’t use a stroller on this hike as it’s too uphill. You can also go left before you start Fennel Creek Trail, where people ride and walk. We didn’t go down that way but saw a bunch of adorable ducks and baby geese right by the pond. This trailhead does have a small parking lot, which is nice as we ended up parking on the street because we thought there was no parking lot.

Awesome trail with super cool stairs. The stairs lead to an elementary school with a nice field and playground.

Quick walk that will give you a good workout going up the steep stairs. Great view of the creek when starting up the trail and on walking path.

Really pretty and the stairs were a nice mini workout. I decided to give it 4 out 5 stars only because I wished it was a longer hike. But very well maintained. Really cute little benches along the way that would be very nice if someone needed to stop and take a breather.

Don’t believe what people say. It’s 1 million stairs! Actually we just counted them all. 138 stairs total :)

Great place, almost 'secret' in its tucked back location... if Google maps didn't exist this would be a completely hidden gem. Well maintained pathway, one direction is semi flat and traverseble by nearly all, then the other direction is more demanding terrain at the halfway point up the side of a steep hill with stairs built in to it. Clear signs of animal life, has been bear sightings, was attacked by an owl (in the coolest possible sense haha) even seen deer and coyote at times... great little place.

Beautiful bridge to walk on, quite the workout with the stairs, absolutely gorgeous scenery, but once you get to the top, there's no view of anything, it's like exercise for the sake of exercise, it leads to a lengthy paved area with wooden fences on one side, and chain link on the other--seemingly next to an elementary school. Maybe there's more nature if you walk past those properties, but there was no indicator of such, so I turned around and walked back down the stairs.

The only downside we experienced when we arrived was that in the small parking lot (fits maybe 7 cars) there were around a dozen middle or high school aged children (and what I assume was their younger siblings). Some were sitting on the hood of a car some of the time. There was also a group of older children congregating across the span of one of the bridges. I'm there for nature and instead it's a bunch of kids making noise that is not respective of the environment. Up the hill (towards Victor Falls Elementary School) is unfortunately quite short (β…“ mile), but gives a decent elevation change. Watch out for a few uneven stairs and some high steps (in part due to packed dirt at the foot). The part marked for bikes had downed trees across it. The section around the retaining pond is flat and paved and well-suited for walking.

I brought my dog to check out Fennel Creek Trail. Took the path to the right which led us over an exquisite wooden bridge that led us to the stairs. Beautiful scenery. Felt like I was in the middle of a huge forest. Stairs gave us a workout but I was excited to see what was next. We ended up going back the way we came. Great gem here in Bonney Lake!

Tucked away in a cul de sac. Minimal signage. Parking area behind the houses. It’s an out and back trip, unless you wanna make the extra 45min- hr walk through neighborhoods to get back to the trailhead. Lots of stairs!

Beautiful views & well maintained trail. All the goslings are getting bigger & there's still baby ducklings everywhere, so cute!

There's a flat nice paved trail or you can take the trail up with huge steps. A great way to get a leg day in!

The trail is completely paved with no stairs and bridges over the wet areas. A very nice walk for my pup and me. There are a few benches along the way and one picnic table too.

Fennel Creek is a fun short hike. To the right is a 1/3 mile hike up to Victor Falls Elementary school. The third mile to the right from the parking lot takes you on a wooden path to the base of a very long staircase going up to the school. To the left is a partially paved trail that ends not far from Costo on 410.

For the easiest way to access the longest, flattest part of this trail, park in the N part of the Target parking lot (kind of behind the store), then cross the street and take the sidewalk going N (away from 410). Walk around the storage facility and you'll see the walkway turn into blacktop. Follow this for a really pleasant, mostly flat and mostly quiet walk through the wetlands (except where it comes close to 410). The trail has metal mesh above the wetland so it leaves the wildlife and plants alone, and you walk in comfort. At the other end, there is a tiny parking lot and a side trail going straight up. We didn't do that yet. Accessible to bikes and skates as well as walkers and dog walkers. Poop bags were posted at both ends. One warning....no port-a-potty or any other way to go to the bathroom that we saw. That would be a welcome addition!!!

Alittle hard to find. Lots of wide steps going up a steep hill. Nice bridge over the creek.

It was very pretty but it was a very long walk I did like that they had stops on the way.

πŸ‘πŸ‘ Super nice park right in the middle of a neighborhood, which makes me feel more safe. There’s a basketball court, covered area, soccer field, two playgrounds, swings for babies and regular age, and tons of field.
