Visited for free steak dinner on Veterans Day. Wonderful meal and a $5.00 bounce back gift card as well.

I visited Applebee's to take advantage of their free veterans day meal. The steak and friendly service was excellent.

My boyfriend and I went here and the last time we had gone to a different Applebee's and it wasn't good. This one in South Hill was great. We got our food quickly, and it was great. Our drinks were amazing too! Had a great time. The staff was on top of everything. Great place I highly recommend it.

We were here twice in 4 days while we were in the area and both times service was excellent! First time we had half price appetizers, wonton tacos and quesadilla, both delicious. Second time we came for all you can eat boneless wings and half price appetizers. They brought small portion of fries and 10 wings but came over to refil bringing 5 wings and dozen fries. Portion control. LOL Oh, I was playing trivia game and no were did it tell me that I will be charged for it. Just saw it in the bill for $1.99. Meh.

According to the song, I was expecting a dance night out with the kiddos and their aunt. Waited only about 10 minutes to get a table. Server took our orders super quick and appetizers showed up not long after. The wonton chicken tacos were light and tasted great. Same for the spinach and artichoke dip. Service, as far as water refills and attention was pretty non existant. We didn't see our server again after ordering. We had a kids chicken quesadilla, two bacon cheeseburgers/fries, and a chicken Ceasar salad. Burgers came dry, no condiments and pretty sorry looking. My chicken Ceasar salad was pretty sorry for what they charge. Had pieces of shrimp and some kind of sautéed mushroom. I'm allergic to shellfish so waited for the server to come back bye while everyone proceeded to eat their food, only. To never see her again. Overall can't suggest this place to anyone and definitely won't ever be back. Super overpriced for what seems like generic run down restaurant. Can't reccomend anything and would look to any one of the chains for better fare at a better price. Sad as we were looking forward to our first time here.

It's my favorite restaurant to enjoy with the family and friends!

My husband and I ordered and the waitress asked if we wanted to do the 2 for $22; both the entrees we ordered were on that menu; we were happy, she saved us some money. The food and service was good.

Ate here with my son today and we both had different things and within a half hour we were both incredibly sick. Diarrhea, nausea, and the sweats. Randomly one of our friends reached out and was there today as well and experienced the same exact thing. Pretty sure we all got food poisoning here. Just warning for anyone reading this.

I go to a restaurant to receive service it’s what I pay the premium for and I tip about 25% on average when I eat out, when I receive good service. If I am required to cash myself out on their stupid tablets they have at the table, I’m tipping less. That should not be my responsibility, my server should take my card and do all that for me, not force me to learn and pay on their machine, that’s your job, not mine. I hate it at grocery stores, even more so at a place I go to for service.

I am a little puzzled. The had a lot of empty seats but I had to wait 20 minutes to be seated. The only thing I can think of is they are short on kitchen staff. Service was great, other than the waitress dropped my straw on the floor, she said she would bring another. 2 refills and 4 returns to the table later, no straw... It was not really that busy. Food was well priced.

My sister recently became disabled and has to use a wheelchair. The staff was so accommodating and made it so easy for us. The food was great too! Very nice selection. We have been back several times since, and will continue to go every other Thursday after therapy.

Happy hour is a great time to try all the appetizers. It's a personal opinion about each dish. For example, loved the pretzel, didn't care for the dip. Staff was great and made sure we had everything we needed.

Ordered a appetizer & dinner. Took forever before they brought the appetizer, it was not even hot. (Boneless chicken wings) Not even 5 minutes later they brought out our dinner. Mashed potatoes and broccoli were cold. Fried shrimp was soggy and not very warm. Steak was nasty, and not warm. We had to ask other servers to get refills on our drinks. Our server never came buy to check on us except when it was time for the check.. Very disappointed, will never go back to Applebee's again.

We come here all the time. It's usually pleasant. There was a booth for a large group available to sit at. But because the kitchen is backed up we weren't allowed to sit down, but a group of 3 people can sit in the bar no questions asked and get drinks. Even though we said we understood food would take a while. We just wanted to sit at private place. Instead of the waiting area and outside.

Went on Veteran's day and it was incredibly busy. The food was still really good and our server was amazing.

We stopped by for dinner. We were quickly seated. Service was fast and the food was delicious. If you have kids who want milkshakes, they have Oreo shakes.

Great food but wife ordered a $10 drink that was mostly ice. She was not impressed. No deduction on bill for a giant glass of ice. Other than that it was great.

Mother's day lunch. I had to ask for a fork. I was given a napkin and a fork. I was not given a knife or spoon. My 4yr old grandson had Mac and cheese and asked for a spoon. A plastic spoon was proved. I found I needed a. Knife but it was now a joke to have to ask for eating utensils so I took my food home and will never be back. The restaurant was not crowded at 2pm so that was not the issue.

Appetizers was so hot it burned my sisters hand. No one said it was hot. When asked the manager for burned cream he brought her a small packet and a bag of ice looked honestly like a dish boy wearing his pajamas instead of a manager didnt apologize but tryed to justify why it was so hot. When we got our dinne, it was still cold. The waitress was rude. Spent over $200. For this experience. We have been to applebees all over the USA, and I have never seen an applebee's this bad ever .

Early afternoon is a good time to go. However, everyone was being seated in the same area and the music was turned up so it was pretty loud. Bartender was overly loud, talking to tables from behind the bar. Was not offered"the perfect margaritas" and no one asked about it so we didn't get vouchers for free food either. Overall we might go back, hard to say for sure.

OMG for the third time, food comes out of the kitchen not looking, as described, missing items, and sandbagged chx strips. I don't know why the manager isn't running as expo. But I know she has inexperienced young staff members to watch over. Seems like should appoint a strong server to watch these people.

Out of all Applebee's I enjoyed this one the MOST. shout-out to our server destiny for having such good patience and customer service. Definitely had a good time, and will DEFINITELY be coming back. Drinks and food was amazing & they came in a good timely manner. I've noticed other servers talking or not being as attentive as our server today. Again you want good service & great customer service come here and ask specifically for destiny you WILL NOT BE LET DOWN. Again, to the manager hope you don't let her go. Or she will be giving another restraunt a good experience as I did today.

Great place just to chill. Very friendly service ask for Krystal. Best server ever and will make you smile the whole time. Food is great. Drinks are great. For the price a great great place.

My husband and I went to Applebee's has been a while since I've been to Applebee's. We ordered appetizers and burger and I ordered the French soup. Everything was excellent the waiter was the best waiter I have had in a long time I wish I would have gotten his name because he deserves the recognition. It was a wonderful experience!

It’s Applebees, the menu is severely limited, the beer is probably not fit for human consumption, I could taste the pipes in the beer and on top of it the server took thrifty minutes to bring me the beer after dropping off the tables other drinks and the only reason I got it at all was as because I chased down a server and asked. The food was mediocre at best ingredients did not taste terribly fresh food took forever to come out. Service overall was inattentive served burgers with maybe five fries asked for another order of fries, that never came. The booths were so cramped we were basically sitting on top of each other. Never waste money here.

Went to Applebee's on Veterans day. They were serving a free meal to all vets and active duty personnel. They had a nice selection of entrees on a separate menu. I had a 6oz sirloin steak with mash potatoes and broccoli. Steak was cooked perfectly as was the broccoli. The restaurant was very full but service was quick and the food seem to come very fast. The server was fantastic!! We will continue to patronize Applebee's.

Travis, our server, was incerdible!! He knew the menu, well enough, that after a few questions, to my daughter and i, recommended the perfect choices for the both of us! His service to our table, and the tables in his section, was impeccable! The staff made us feel very welcome and comfortable! Thank you, Travis! You were wonderful!

I’m only giving 3 stars because I’ve been here a few times and had no issue. Tonight our server was Chris. I’d implore the managerial staff to educate everyone on the importance of an allergy. I have a dairy allergy, I specifically told the server this. I ordered the blackened Cajun salmon with fries after having previously spoken with staff about my allergy and ensuring the fries/salmon are safe. I mention the allergy to ensure the broccoli is not prepared with butter and staff are supposed to change gloves/use clean surfaces for preparation. My allergy isn’t THAT sensitive, but it’s sensitive enough to realize the broccoli was prepared using butter. Upon asking Chris, he said “Oh. Yes. The broccoli is made with butter.” His only solution was to apologize. An allergy isn’t something you just shrug off. We opted not to bring it to the manager as we weren’t looking for compensation and that’s typically the response. Comping my meal doesn’t negate that I just consumed something I’m allergic to after explicitly asking you to inform the kitchen of my allergy.

Was never an Applebee's fan due to a bad food experience I had years ago with them, but they've definitely gotten better. The 2 for $30 deal is what we went for which includes either two salads or one appetizer followed by two delicious entree's. Killer deal if you ask me! Not a place I'd frequent, but I feel comfortable saying I wouldn't turn it down now.
