First time visiting Crockett's. Probably the last time. Typically, I give restaurants a second chance. This experience broke a couple of rules that rise to a higher level that I can't really forgive. I ordered fish and chips. The fries were dark brown and dry like leather. It was clear they were leftovers that had been deep fried a second time. The fish, if not the same as the fries, was definitely overcooked. This left the fish dry, flavorless and unpleasant to even look at. The cole slaw did seem fresh though I found it to be very bland, flavorless. The Pepsi was good. Our waiter, Kendall, was amazing. When she came to check on us a few minutes after delivering our food, I was very candid with her. The way she handled it was top notch professional and classy. Thank you, Kendall, for listening! With all respect, they didn't charge us anything. I still dropped a Hamilton on her because it wasn't her fault, and she did the best to handle the situation. That said, to my first paragraph about how this rose to a higher level and it's unlikely that I will ever give Crockett's that second chance I typically allow others: That plate of food never should have left the kitchen. It was obvious to anyone that something was wrong. The cook never should have placed it on the shelf. The waitstaff should have noticed as well and rejected it - but they may not be empowered to do that. However, the biggest problem - and I'll allow that there is a very small chance I'm wrong on this (I'm not) but - they took leftover fries, dropped them in the fryer again, and served them to me. NOT okay.

The food was pretty good! I got the $18 sloppy Joe and honestly… can’t tell much of a difference between that and the stuff that comes in a can besides some added spice. My husband liked his burger. Kids loved their noodles. Service was fast and the atmosphere was cool. The health inspection sign out front is also questionable

First time here. Came with some friends and had some drinks and food. Came around 6 pm. It was very busy. If you don’t call ahead and get on the waitlist….you’ll be waiting for an hour or choosing somewhere else even. I had the blooming grapefruit. I nursed it because it was freakin amazing!! We ordered empanadas the were also fantastic. The pork belly appetizer was off the chain! I don’t eat pork belly because it’s too fatty. I tried the pork belly and what a pleasant surprise! Other meals that were ordered were shrimp and grits (I forgot to ask but their plate was empty so I believe this was delish), fish and chips (these were rated 8 out of 10), pesto pasta with Romano chicken (pesto sauce was pretty darn good!) The dessert we chose was the apple pie. It arrived looking like the apples were wrapped in a sheet of dough (pie crust) and tied up like a stork was going to fly off with it. Nice presentation and tasted good. Not amazing but good. The atmosphere was great! The place can seat a lot of people and it has a great vibe. Oh and the bar has one of the largest bourbon selections I’ve ever seen. I definitely will come back again!

We met up with family prior to heading out of town. We got here around 11:30 on Sunday morning…told it would be 35-45 min wait…which was pretty close. We were a table of 4…our waitress was attentive & helpful. We ordered drinks & our meal at the same time because it was packed & their sign says they limit tables to a Mac of 2hrs …a disappointment was that they stopped serving breakfast at 11:30 on Sundays…I was okay with it since I was gonna get the fried chicken sandwich. Our drinks & appetizers were served as quickly as they could be with the amount of people. Their spin on a margarita w/mojito mint was not my cup of tea but it had great presentation. The Bloody Mary had wonderful presentation & yummy garnishes (the drink itself was also good (per my husband that ordered it (x2)). Our bread & cheese platter was a little out of my comfort zone but I was very impressed. Lunch arrived & I couldn’t be beyond excited to eat a chicken sandwich but my husband’s grilled cheese & tomato soup was also amazing! Highly recommend both. I was too full to get a dessert by myself but we did share…chocolate waffles & ice cream drizzled with chocolate sauce was flavorful & something I hope to recreate on my own. Definitely would recommend this place - although parking is tricky…get there early if you want breakfast…we will be back

As a fan of Diners, Drive-ins and Dives, we tried this place years ago and have not been disappointed! This is not your usual pub type food! Of course Grandma’s Sloppy Joe (pictured with Coleslaw) is one of our favorites but the rest of the menu is solid as well. Great street tacos, several really good Italian dishes as well as burgers and sandwiches that are a little something extra. Great place to try especially if you are a fan! You will not be disappointed!

We went to Crockett's to celebrate a birthday. As soon as we walked in the door, we could smell all the amazing food cooking! The service was great and our waitress was able to suggest meals that were fantastic! We ordered the fish and chips, fried chicken sandwich, and the chocolate brownie waffle for dessert! It was all delicious! I will definitely be going back!

Come for the food, but try to either get here super early if you plan on eating breakfast, or make other plans. The wait was nothing to get seats at the bar at 9:15- but the service was extremely poor. We had a 35 minute wait for the server to visit us again after initially ordering our drinks- they were forgotten until we went over and asked her if we could order food. What a drag. The food was pretty delicious, the corned beef hash was legit and I ordered extra corned beef, which was enjoyable. Few Brussels sprouts in the hash, mostly pseudo fried potatoes- sort of like a boiled texture with some oil casually strewn on top. What can you do? Potatoes take a long time to crisp on a flat top, so all things considered pretty delicious, and nice presentation. The sausage Patties are delicious! Sagey, not too spicy, very well seasoned and nicely cooked. The cheddar grits are also delicious, as is the thick cut bacon which was surprisingly crisp- a difficult achievement with thick cut! Seriously, maybe if you get lucky you’ll get a table real quick- could be a one off. Pandemic, etc. Overall seems worth it if there’s no wait.

This is a great location, with a fun atmosphere. The location is clean and the service really stands out. A limited amount of parking is a available on site with supplemental parking on the street. Parking in back is the best option. We went to catch up with friends we haven't seen in a while. We were there for a couple of hours and they were attentive and made no rush to get us out. We felt welcomed. Food was great, the burgers were thick and rich. The drink were great, their cocktails are just as good as their beer options. Midas 5-stars for the service.

This place was amazing! My husband and I came with a couple friends on a Friday night. We were put on a list for a 35 minute wait and opted to wait in the bar area until our table was ready. I did see after we'd arrived that you're able to check in for a table online, so I'd definitely do that next time! A table ended up opening in the bar to fit all of us after like 10 minutes so we just stayed in the bar area and cancelled our wait-list table. The service was quick and the bartender was super friendly. Our table had loaded fries, the crispy zucchini, and the meatballs as an appetizer. The meatballs/sourdough bread were fantastic. I opted for a grilled cheese with added avocado and bacon and it was also very good. The peachy keen cocktail (not on regular menu) was fantastic. There were several items that my husband and I still want to try so we will definitely be back for more!

The only reason I'd venture back to Puyallup. I sat at the bar and the bartender was amazing. I had pineapple mimosa and french toast. Sooooo yummy. She served the champagne and juice in separate glasses so I could mix at my leisure. Oh, and the bacon, not sure how they do it but the bacon 2as delicious and HUGE. Great spot.

First time at this place I got bacon bacon burger and I loved! It’s gigantic so I could only eat 1/3 of it. Second time I got the same one and it wasn’t the same thing, the quality dropped drastically but they were about to close so I guess I got leftovers. I usually don’t care about fries but my first time was amazing, well seasoned and great texture and temperature.. second time was trashy and i didn’t ask for replacement because like I said they were about to close. I will definitely try a third time maybe a different option and hopefully will be as good as the first time.

We started with the fried zucchini and grilled artichokes which were wonderful. I had the portabella mushroom sandwich on sourdough bread with chipotle Mayo instead of the vegan Mayo. The mushroom was cooked to perfection and the pickled peppers with tomato and avocado gave this sandwich the most delicious taste I have ever had in my life. You have got to taste it! My hubby had the steak and mushrooms with mini red potatoes that are slightly smooshed and then fried with a delicious serving of sour cream. We ended the meal with the apple pie 🥧! Yummy all the way around. I can’t wait to come back and try other things off of the menu.

came here for the first time about 5 years ago. decided to go here for my bday. I like the vegetarian options and non alcoholic dranks they have available. portions are big! definitely take half home. I ordered the calamari which wasn't bad. the batter was light and wasn't greasy. I also ordered the portobello sandwich with sweet potato fries. the people in my party ordered the shrimp street tacos- the shrimp was too charred and salty- and they ordered the blt. the blt had a good flavor, but the bacon was hard so it made it hard to chew. I ordered a non alcoholic mule with coconut cream on top and that was really tasty. the second mule I ordered was topped with strawberries and it wasn't as good as the coconut cream mule. it just tasted like strawberry lemonade.

Love the comfy atmosphere, so easy to relax. I loved the beer flight the bartender chose for me. Everything looked so good, but I ordered my usual grilled cheese and home-made tomato soup..sooo delicious, not your ordinary grilled cheese. One of my go-to restaurants.

Absolute delicious! Kendal was phenomenal & took great care of us! The food was so good, my entire family couldn’t stop talking about it. We got the grilled artichokes and chips and dips for apps. The BEST pimento cheese I’ve ever had (and I’ve had a lot). Then for lunch we got the meatballs, the sloppy Joe, and the grilled cheese. ALL WERE SO GOOD!!! I’m too full to go into detail at the moment! But Crocketts Public House was worth the stop!

I had one of the best burgers I've ever had here! I tried the public house flagship burger. It was so good, we went back the next day to try more of the menu. I had the BLT the next day, which was also tasty. Their seafood chowder had HUGE chunks of actual seafood, which is rare! And their cocktails are next level. The Spa Day and the Pineapple/Jalepeno Margarita were awesome. My husband had an old fashioned, which he loves, and said it was the best one he's had. He tried the fried chicken sandwich and the sloppy Joe, both of which were excellent. If you're in town looking for a great spot, this is it!

Bloody Marys, Mimosa to start our morning, tequila shot, & Jameson with coke back to end the meal. I chose the crab Benedict and was very disappointed. There was a pinch of crab in the middle of the muffin. It literally would be 1 bite of crab. The egg was cooked right, seeing the yolk just flow but it was like a tiny egg and didn't reach the edges of the muffin so the presentation was not good. A little more hollandaise sauce would have been better also, I mean, it's the rich creamy sauce that makes the Benedict meal delicious... Period. I ate about half of the first one, and after seeing how much crab there was, didn't bother eating the rest. Friends ordered crab omelette, 2 steaks and eggs. The one thing I liked most were the glasses my Jameson and coke came in. The Jameson glass wasn't flat on the bottom, it was like a spinning top so the glass would wobble but not spill. The glass my coke was in, was slanted, like A symmetrical. It was just starting to get busy. I know if they served Guy F that crab Benedict it would have been loaded with crab, made to perfection! Not that I was expecting a serving like that but enough where every bite has some. The server was nice and attentive. Was greeted and welcomed in by this nice guy with curly hair.

Great dinner. The Fish n chips were battered and fried to perfection. The coleslaw was really dry though. My friends enjoyed grilled cheese and soup, a burger and fries chicken sandwich. Beer was great. I loved the 5440 Amber.

Though I eat at Crockett's a few times a year, this was my first breakfast menu experience. Good coffee, great food and terrific service. Crockett's is a must in your dine out experience. Pro tip - street park on Meridian and walk over.

Unsure where designated parking is, if any? Quiet Sunday evening visit, we were seated promptly. Good selection of flights and cocktails. Average menu size with salads, sandwiches, burgers, and dinner plates. We tried the founder’s burger (pretty good) and the grilled cheese (bland). Fries were unexpectedly hard for fresh cut. We’ll give it another shot for breakfast sometime.

Fun little brunch spot! About a 25 - 30 minute wait for breakfast, but it was a Sunday morning so makes sense! The seating wasn’t the most comfortable, and it took a bit for the server to take our order. Overall, food was delicious and atmosphere was great!

Staff here was great very attentive and helpful. The decor is fun and eclectic. While I've eaten here before the pandemic, the lunch we had today was meh at best. There wasn't anything in particular that was wrong that I or my party could put our finger on. Things just didn't seem to pop the way that they did before. I had the grilled cheese and tomato soup, it was grilled a bit more then I tend to like and the flavors just didn't quite work together. Sorry for the less then ideal photo.

Came for the pub fair and was not disappointed! Everyone in the party enjoyed their food. It was a little on the "fatty" side, so not really a great place for those counting calories! They currently have a really low food safety score, but we were not deterred. There was a single hair in my friend's fish and chips...

We had just hiked & wanted a nice salad & decided to stop here for a quick bite but the whiskey flight looked good because you could build your own. We still got the Cesar salad & that was delicious & we ended with a butterscotch pudding. Mind you we shared everything but we wished we had not because the food was so darn good. This lil hole in the wall place was amazing & the prices were fair & the service was great & the place was super clean & no waiting in line to sit down! Great job y’all!
