Great climbing gym with a wide range of difficulties and a good wall count, as well as specialized training gear and basic but still useful equipment.

Great rock climbing spot! The only reason they don't get all five stars on my review is that their crash pads could be improved. They do not feel as safe as they could. The level system in the gym is also interesting as they provide a peer contributed scale of grades for each route.

Great bouldering and great community. Wouldnโ€™t recommend going here if youโ€™re trying to seriously top rope or lead but they have a small ropes area with some auto belays which is nice. Lot of northeastern students climb here but everyone is generally very friendly and itโ€™s easy to make friends. Also one of the front desk people, Casey, is super nice and very helpful, she definitely deserves a raise!

What an amazing experience! This climbing gym leaves nothing to be desired. They have it all bouldering, auto belay, gym equipment and grip boards spaced out. If it is your first time you also get briefing to help with how the auto belays work and what levels to try if you are a beginner. Can't wait for the next experience.

great place to go climbing. very friendly community and the staff are always a great help. if you have any questions you can ask one of the staff and theyll usually have an answer. try to go during the week, as the weekends seem to have a lot of college students.

This location was just bouldering. The gym is in the middle of the floor not very organized. They have two large bathrooms with a shower in each. They use one of the showers for storage....why? The shower that is available is only open until 5pm and sets of the smoke alarm.

I'm sorry I'm confused on this one I haven't climbed any rocks that I'm aware of except maybe the sidewalks of Boston which get Rocky sometimes I had knee surgery I might have walked up a hill but I'm really not sure what you're referring to? But I have been busy and about active the last few days invited to some singing places I'd love to share about! Next week is my Thursday surgery on my wrist which I damaged along other body parts may 2017 hopefully this is the beginning of things to come to write the wrongs of those things that happened in that unfortunate accident then God bless you all be safe from Boston! ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡ฑ๐Ÿ‡ท

Nice gym, very old-school -- small holds and walls that look like stone/concrete. The setting here is the best I've seen in Boston. It really feels like you're climbing outside, and a lot of boulders are non-intuitive and require some effort to find the right beta. The gym is a bit dark and gritty, but I liked the atmosphere. There is also some roped climbing (toprope, lead and autobelay), though the walls are very short. This is primarily a bouldering gym.

After a few month of membership I have fallen in love with the sport. Some staff have been extremely helpful. However as of recent the experience has been rather unpleasant. Waiting at desks for 5-10 minutes at a time for food and gear has taken a toll on the limited climbing time that I have. This, along with smaller things like changes to the website leading to less accommodation for disability and convenience has led me to other gyms, frustratingly.

all great! the atmosphere was superb. friendly welcoming from the front desk attendant. i really appreciate the changing rooms and shower made available. the orientation was quick, to the point, and informational. I super appreciate the cubbies to store personal items close to the climbing area and device charging station. inside there was a wide variety of options to climb and train on. the staff was kind and supportive throughout the visit. although this it the only rock climbing venue i have visited, id highly recommend this place. THANK YOU ROCK SPOT

This is a nice place with a lot of boulder options. Top rope and lead routes are very limited, and the ceilings are quite short. You can complete three top rope routes off of one auto belay before switching to another. The staff was very kind and accessible on a Thursday night. If you're looking for an excellent gym to boulder, this is it. If you're looking for top rope or lead climbing, don't expect much.

Rope climber here. The setting is fantastic. Super interesting movement at all grades, and it felt like movement on outdoor climbs. The setters make great use of the features of the walls, and unlike some gyms that seem to increase the difficulty only be decreasing the size of the holds or increasing the distance between them, the cruxes were varied and creative--like bouldering on ropes, really. And it *was* like bouldering on ropes: The walls are SHORT. I've clipped first bolts on outdoor sport routes that were higher. That said, I'd go back in a heartbeat for the setting.

Wow what a great gym & staff. I climbed her back in early March before all of the covid-19 shut downs, but I had such a good time I thought I should still leave a review. Spent about two hours or so working on several boulder problems. I will not that their grading system for the problems are a bit different from then what I'm normally used to. I normally work on boulder ranging from V4-V6, but on Rock Spots rating I was climbing V2-V3.

Lots of boulder problems, routes... There are auto belays for most routes. The routes are short and "boulder-y", very creative and a lot of fun! The whole place gives off a very chill and positive vibe.

I really enjoy this gym. The staff are kind and helpful, the atmosphere is very inviting and friendly. Good range of climbing types and difficulties, as well as other gym basics like a weight rack, treadmill, and more. Lots of opportunities for community and climbing development, as well as a well-stocked store.

The rock spot climbing in Lincoln RI is absolutely the best. The service people at the place exceeded my expectationsโ€ฆ Ben helped our family and he was incredibly patient with us โ€ฆ plus he delivered the safety and orientation for us in a really understandable way. What a great place โ€ฆ. We had so much fun too !

This gym is so much fun for bouldering. They have a good variety of different climbing styles and four caves - two that are deep for super fun and challenging routes. For top rope climbing, this location is probably good for beginners and kiddos. There are a number of auto-belays and actually quite a bit of wall for the size of the section they have it in. The walls, though, are probably only 25 feet tall. I highly recommend this gym for bouldering. The staff is awesome, they have great merch, and they stay open later then most. It's all wins for me.

It's a great rock climbing spot in the area. They redo the problems pretty regularly and have wide range for different ages and skill levels. I wish they offered camps and classes just a little bit younger than seven, but other than that this place is great.

Overall a great place for bouldering and beginner top rope. I'm primarily a top rope climber and found the top rope section lacking for my climbing level (higher than 5.10s). For that I ended up bouldering a majority of the time spent there. It was awesome to work on some overhang projects which I typically don't get to do at the gyms I climb at back home. Staff was friendly and had no issues there.

LOTS of bouldering, pretty big gym, and a variety of different styles of problems, with emphasis on more overhang/incline/cave type routes than other rock gyms I've seen. I like that they have 4 different beginner grades before getting to V0 difficulty, so that there's plenty of opportunity for gradual progress, if you're starting from scratch. I visited from out of state, and difficulty up through V4 was roughly on-par with the grading at my home gyms. There's also a small area of free weights, benches, and pullup bars. Has showers but no towel service. I thought the price was good, for day pass and memberships both.

Great bouldering gym with friendly and communal vibe. This is a relatively large center (for the Boston metro area) with lots of problems and usually doesn't feel too crowded. The setting covers a lot of different styles and grades that are suitable for both beginners and more advanced climbers. There's also a moonboard and a spray wall linked with Stokt. It's close to the red line and has a free parking lot. I always bring new climbers to this gym for bouldering. There is a very small and short top rope area.

First time climbing in years - what a great time! Friendly, helpful staff provided just the right amount of instruction to get us going and then stayed out of the way unless assistance was requested. A great experience!

Great gym overall! I was visiting Boston for a couple weeks and found a deal on Groupon. I came in for the deal but ended up buying a month pass to enjoy for two weeks. It's a bit dark and gloomy inside but I really loved the route setting. They really make you figure out the beta. I also tried Boston Bouldering Project, where the space is much more pleasant, but the problems here were way more interesting and fun. They also have a #moonboard which was configured to the 2017 set during my visit. Fellow climbers and staff were super nice too, as to be expected in most climbing communities. Hope to be back one day!

The bouldering experience is too good - a lot of various low level boulders to practice different techniques. This gym is really beginner friendly - so many walls we donโ€™t have to worry about getting bored. The top-rope and belay options are more limited but still enough to enjoy oneself.

My kids have been taking classes there for a few months,, and the instructors have worked so well with them. Very kind and patient. I just gave climbing a shot yesterday (first time in 20+ years) and the staff was very enthusiastic and supportive. And of course it was so much fun!

Overall a good place but there have been less bouldering sets and are either too easy or too hard now for an average climber

Love this place. Was in town and wanted a good session, and this place provided a lot of fun and challenging boulders. The grading system is also great - they have B1-B5 beginner grades thay are the easiest, and then the V0-V10 routes start after B5. So there is plenty for everyone, and the V grades feel less inflated than most gyms. There are large, long overhung boulders, and some good slab. They also have a moonboard and plenty of training equipment. Will definitely be back.
