Good place for breakfast and coffee. I tried Sunday brunch offer (on Sunday's you cannot order any other dishes from the menu), it was absolutely delicious - especially the avocado toast and ban a bread! The price for a brunch was around 24€. The only thing that was quite disappointing was the service. They kept on ignoring our table and we had to approach them personally multiple

Chic decor, warm and friendly staff, wonderful pasties and wines and cocktails as well! This place is wonderful. The vibe is inviting and serine. It’s cool without being pretentious. Both pastries were exquisite with complex layers of subtle flavors. Service wonderful.

Literally, everything was great except their chairs, we have sit in kind of coach chairs with a very low table which was totally not comfortable for dining. Food, staff and decorations are perfect. We ordered the classical brunch, great quantity with good variety. I revisited the restaurant, they changed the menu a little bit they added a turkish style egg and unfortunately it was a runny yolk, I asked them if they can make it hard and the waiter said no !

Delicious food and good value, too, as the brunch menu has a cold drink, hot drink, savoury dish, and sweet dish for €25 which was loads of food! Arrive before opening time as you can't book, and there's always a big queue! Well worth the wait, though. It was so good that we came back again in the one weekend!

We had such a delicious vegan brunch here you get so many different items from the formula menu and each was amazing the avocado and sweet potato toast were so good!

The staff were super friendly and helpful. I ordered a latte which was great. The vibe inside was really cute and cozy-would go back again. Bonus points that they also serve alcohol!

I asked the lovely lady at the tourism office where she goes to eat brunch and she recommended Contrast! And what a delight it is! We had the Sunday brunch and it was delicious! Friendly bilingual staff who were very helpful. Beautiful setting in a convenient location, just off the busy part of Bordeaux. Highly recommended!

Beautiful cafe! Inside has a bohemian style to it, and has the best coffee I have had in a very long time. We had the pancakes that were so light and fluffy with a homemade Carmel sauce which was lovely, the only down fall was the pancakes where cold. But other then that it was a really nice place to have breakfast 🙂

Best Breakfast /Brunch I have ever had. It is a fantastic place to sit outside and enjoy a nice and vegan breakfast. Of course they also serve non vegan options. Will definitely come back one day.

Excellent breakfast spot in Bordeaux! Serves breakfast a little longer than others, too. Brunch menu is served on weekends and holidays. Great coffee, and they have a “salty” and “sweet” menus. Suggest trying one of both! Plates are smaller (even for Europe), but still easy to share. Well-composed dishes that don’t try too hard. Really enjoyed the boheme vibe — enough space for families with kids.

Pancakes were excellent, and the interior is absolutely stunning! Only drawback is that you cannot customize your brunch (e.g. add sides) but food was indeed yummy. 🥞🍳🌟

Busy little cafe, quite a queue at 13:45 for a table inside, so we chose to eat outside. Food came really quickly and was really tasty. Next time we’ll wait for a table inside though to enjoy the decor and avoid the rain.

I’ve been an active eater at Contrast for the past few months that I’ve lived in Bordeaux and it’s always a treat. I live for their smashed avocado toast with pomegranate seeds on top. For 22 euros you get a lot of food and you’ll be full for a few hours. Their fresh juices are all equally delicious. Yesterday I tried their newest one: mango, orange and turmeric and it was a hit! I love that matcha is available here because I prefer it over coffee. Their pancakes are fluffy, yet buttery and love at every bite. Their fromage blanc with homemade granola and berries is so refreshing and the right amount of sweet. I will miss this place as well as the staff dearly.

It is worth to try the brunch. The service was good. Quantity of the food/drinks could be better. We are used to have rich tables for long brunch mornings..

Doesn’t matter if you are in for a breakfast or a brunch look no further… Perfect vegan tacos, perfect mozzarella burrata and a lovely atmosphere and service… Merci beaucoup!!!
