The show was amazing! A jazz band who gave a 3 hours of a fantastic show! The place is very small and intimate and its like you are part of the band.. I didn't like however that although you pay for the concert, you are also forced to buy a drink even if you don't want to... i didnt want any alcohol and the soft drinks were ridiculously overpriced.7.5euro for a coca cola..? Aside of that, the experience was great and I was happy to find out they check vaccination certificates at the entrance. Will defenately come back next time Im in Paris.

It's all about Jazz and good to come for the music! Down there get's really crowded and could make things messy in terms of movement or airconditioning but if you get used to with this live music bar style then there should be no problem! Enjoy!

Interesting place, great music options. Feels strange giving such an interesting place 4*s for atmosphere, however, it gets very crammed, you can end up being very cosy with your neighbour. Expectation to buy at least one drink per set. The good news is the bar tenders are very capable and make great cocktails and mocktails. So it is easier to do so than your standard bar. If you aren't claustrophobic it is worth one of your nights in Paris.

Really cool jazz bar. The musicians are great and a lot of fun. The cocktails are good too. I’ve been there twice and my only complaint is that the music is too loud. The volume goes up to 100db which in a small space is painfully loud. So you should go with earplugs if you don’t want your ears ringing or damaged after the show.

What a fantastic evening we had on a Friday evening in this cavern club. The entrance was only €8.- and we enjoyed a blues rock night with 3 sets of 45 minutes. The place was fully packed, and the vibe was incredible. Great to hear all those blues classics and an enthusiastic audience. The drinks were really pricey, but I couldn't complain with such a cheap entrance ticket. 4.5/5 0

Crazy prices for alcohol. Extreme tight seating arrangements in uncomfortable chairs (mostly little benches) and the night we went, the band was not interesting or all that talented. Venue is in a basement, you pay a cover charge and one drink minimum PER SET. If you and here three sets, are a couple, the show could cost you over $100. Won't be back and complete waste of money for a smelly basement and overpriced drinks.

The real deal when it comes to music. You can see local and visiting artists, witness fire jam sessions late into the night, and at any evening of the week. I've been on a Monday and Tuesday and it never disappoints. For real music lovers. Draws and international and local crowds alike. A magical cave of musical delight.

Underground venue for some good music and drinks. We saw a blues band play who was fantastic. Crowd was mostly tourists from USA or around Europe. As others have noted, seating is definitely not very comfortable and with cover charge and 1 drink minimum per band set, it can get a bit expensive. However it was still a 5 star fun for me!

We had researched this as a great jazz place in Paris, and it did not disappoint. The cover was only 8€ and while drinks were a bit pricey (12€ for a pint of beer), it still balances out as a deal overall. Plus, it’s a great environment for hearing great live music!

Nice atmos, very friendly people. The drinks are a bit expensive but understandable as you pay for the musicians as well (and being a musician myself, I know they are usually very much underpaid). I went there with my wife and children and we had a good time, great live music!

Amazing spot in the Latin Quarter. The drinks are a little more pricy than what might be considered 'standard', but the quality of music and the atmosphere more than makes up for it. Can't wait to go back.

Absolutely stellar place with such a cool vibe, fantastic cocktails (plus such a lovely, fun bartender), and of course FANTASTIC live music. If you appreciate cool old buildings, jazz, and good drinks you absolutely must stop by. You must.

Lovely place, full of history. Went there with some friends for the music event, the bands were fantastic and the atmosphere was both cosy and dynamic. The cocktails were made by a professional with interesting anecdotes, though a little expensive. Very friendly staff

Saw a great performance here. Loved the vibe, very welcoming. We were basically one with the band who encouraged us to play maracas and clap along. Service was excellent. Warm, friendly atmosphere.

It starts with the staff at the location, David & Camela are amazing! As a newbie to Paris it was exciting to find a live music venue, and I could not have chosen a better location. Please, don't let the stairs frighten you, what awaits you downstairs is fantastic music, friendly staff and the warm people of Paris, France. The wine and mixed drinks are top notch. I HIGHLY recommend that if you're in Paris, that you visit. If you're not happy after leaving, send you're drink bill and I'll pay the tab. 😉

Fantastic venue in an underground cavern in Paris! The jam session gig we saw was brilliant jazz/funk/soul mix. Highly recommended! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Very nice jazz bar! People were listening to jazz a bit seriously, so it’s hard to chat during the session. And the space was limited so might be better not be late for the start of the session. Entrance fee costs 8euros per adult and 5 per student. Beers are 11 euros per pint. Update: the atmosphere really depends on the session. You may find your favourite one.

Bar Adventure 🍸🎶: Ambiance earns a solid 3.5 stars ⭐, with a synchronized band adding to the vibe. The food disappoints with limited choices and overpricing 🍔👎. The missing smoked ham in the burrata was a letdown 😕, especially since it was clearly written on the menu. The server assured us he'd address it. The drink menu, though okay, leans toward limited, and prices are on the higher side 🥂💸. Customized cocktails are a plus but come with a hefty price tag. Unfortunately, no dessert available, so that remains unexplored 🍰. Overall, a mixed experience with potential for improvement.

What an awesome place to hear some incredible jazz and funk ! Greatly enjoyed the venue and the music was amazing ! Did not have a chance to eat but drinks were reasonable for Paris and ambience was tremendous. If you are a music fan, this is not to be missed while here.

the most beautiful girl I have seen in my life, I saw in that place I was too introvert to talk with her. Apart from this, very nice mainly chicago blues music

I visited Le Caveau des Oubliettes, a jazz venue in Paris, on a friend's recommendation. The place had a nice decor, but the overall experience didn't quite meet expectations. We experienced delays getting seated and waiting for the show to start. The atmosphere was vibrant, but I missed the presence of a saxophone, which I was looking forward to. The food was a letdown, especially in the cramped space. Options like finger foods might be more practical here. Our burrata dish was incomplete without the smoked ham, and we had to ask for bread. The venue was lively yet crowded; a cloakroom would have been a helpful addition. Overall, while the atmosphere was energetic, there's significant room for improvement at Le Caveau des Oubliettes.

Added comments: The admission is cash-only, so accepting cards for admission would greatly help as an improvement. Furthermore, once we got in, the basement was so crowded that we couldn't comfortably sit and enjoy the music, resulting in a very short stay. If an admission fee is required, the host should at least ensure enough space for the customers.

What a lovely 2 hours we spent down there! Entrance costed 8€ and beers in the basement cost either 8€ or 12€. The place is very cozy, not so many table, and the artists were soooo good! It was a jam session. I’d come back deffo!

Great venue. The band was incredible and the sound was excellent. We went on a blues night but I’m sure the Jazz is as good. We got drinks via table service during the gig. The drinks are expensive but the entry was free when we went so it evens itself out in my opinion.

I LOVED this place. Full of locals and live band on Saturday night. The cave is super small so we where too 25 people watching the performance. We paid 24€ for the whole bottle of wine and no cover. The performance was in English which was Great!!!! We felt very welcomed here

Quaint little jazz bar with good music, people, and ambience. Not as touristy compared to the other jazz bars around Saint-Germain.

Overall lovely experience! The music was top-notch! However I definitely felt the wine was way over-priced for the amount in the glass. Charcuterie platter was quite decent though! I wouldn't mind coming back! Wonderful area to be in!

Zero star. Extremly crowded. They showed our place when we arrived. The table was shared with 6 people. Come on. You can’t even eat any snack. It has 5 small tables but 25 people there. Did you hear anything about covid? We stayed 3 minutes and we gave up.

SHUT, Twice! We trekked across Paris to get here twice based on the reviews and opening times on Google. Both times completely shut. I can't comment on the club, but pretty annoyed!
