DO NOT GO!!! Despite being fully vaccinated, with my valid double vaccination CDC card from the USA, the horribly “bureaucratic” staff — except 1 out of half a dozen: 1 professional, even if unable to “help”, others unimaginably unprofessional, and rude — both the website and in person “provide” miscommunication, and lack of information to the visiting public, about requirements to enter: only French QR “pass sanitaire” ‘accepted’ (unable to obtain ahead of time, despite having requested information from the embassy many weeks ago, before traveling to France, nor here in person, also due to a lack of larger clearer and understandable governmental guidelines, once HERE, as to where/how to obtain one; and/or ridiculous to imagine that each and every place would require a new PCR test every 72 hours!!!). NO OTHER PLACE IN FRANCE, PARIS IN PARTICULAR, CREATED THIS PROBLEM, and no other museum, exhibition, or restaurant, either public, or private space, required this in over a month here in France. UTTERLY UNACCEPTABLE! Update after two weeks: REFUND for paid tickets still not received!!! Equally UNACCEPTABLE!!! UPDATE 2: The "reply" received, does not address the rudeness and lack of professionalism and lack of accurate information on half a dozen (yes, 6!) employees at the Museum... AND, a REFUND from the museum still has not been issued. The standard "refer[ing] to the law" response lacks the appropriate reply regarding the above (unprofessional and rude attitudes of the staff, minus one who was professional and sympathetic towards the issues at hand). THE QR CODE requirement is NOT (at the time we checked) mentioned as being the ONLY ACCEPTABLE means to access the museum. AND, effectively, THIS MUSEUM is accusing ALL THE OTHER FRENCH INSTITUTIONS we had visited during one whole month as 'breaking the law" per their response! I had a VALID COVID VACCINATION CARD from USA, ACCEPTED EVERYWHERE ELSE IN FRANCE!

A beautiful museum on the outskirts of Paris. They have beautiful porcelaine pieces as well as other masterpieces. You'd need more than 2 hours to properly visit it. On the first floor, they explain how the porcelaine is made in this atelier

(Translated by Google) Extraordinary for anyone interested in or uneducated in porcelain. Already the history of porcelain, earthenware, techniques, styles from different regions of the world, dating back to minus 6000 BC, works of all beauty. Initiation workshops, ... 👍 (Original) Extraordinaire pour qui s'intéresse ou est inculte à la porcelaine. It's a part of French history. The most beautiful masterpiece of cups, plates and vases were created here for the richest people in the world. Also they have an unbelievable huge collection of porcelain from all parts of the earth. However, there is a lot of dust on the glass shelves. It would be better if they cleaned a bit. Some examples need to be ranged, there are some mistakes in numbers and the information to describe the items.

(Translated by Google) For the curious thirsty for culture. The oldest manufacture in France. Not to miss !!! Hold your breath you will enter the holy of holies. This factory supplies the most beautiful tables in France, embassies, presidency of the republic etc ... With regard to a thesis, I had the joy of being able to spend a month there in all the workshops and to discover certain secrets hidden from the public. One of the first ovens whose fire was fired with birch wood, with gills where a dough fry was installed to check the rise in temperature. An excellent technical director who has made this manufacture evolve and save on expenses, among other things by recovering the gold in the wiping cloth I named Antoine d'Albis ... There would be so much to say, I will leave you part of it already by visiting his museum which is very interesting ... And free on the first Sunday of the month ...

I give it a 5 stars because most of the people I met and are working there are nice. Many pieces of ceramics and some glass pieces too, the museum is abobe average when it comes to the quality, age and number of the art pieces, especially when comparing to Louvre as an example or other eputable ceramics museums across Europe, there are some very nice pieces here but the collection is a bit limited however in comparison with other specific museums, very close however. Do not understand the above wrong the collection is huge and has many nice pieces just that there are a couple of other European museums that top this one. If you profit on the free entrance for the 1st Sunday of the month than it is a great choice especially if you have a walk on the Domaine Saint Cloud after!

The variety of subjects is astonishing, a plate can belong to a table service as being unique and representing a scene of life in the history of France. At present, the Manufacture knows how to partner with contemporary artists for new creations. I really like this mixture of history and contemporary creations. (Translated by Google) Very beautiful museum with a beautiful permanent collection, although quick to browse (allow 1 hour max for the entire museum). Nevertheless the staff are particularly rude and we were literally followed around the museum by all the wardens and security guards. I guess that the fact that the museum is mostly empty didn't help, but it's especially unpleasant to be followed everywhere and looked at like fugitives.
