Staff at the spa and reception were kind and helpful, and the room was clean and spacious. However, the same cannot be said for the staff in the restaurant, nor for the very dirty balcony window. When leaving the door open to the bathroom, the whole room stank of sewage to the point where we had to close that door and go outside for some fresh air. This is something I haven't experienced in any hotel in England, and for £144 a night is really quite shocking. The light was also completely coming off the wall. Not bad, but definitely could get better for that amount of money.

We’ve stayed at quite a few Hilton’s, and they all have their own quirks and personalities. This one is definitely up there with some of the best in the UK (some foreign ones that we’ve stayed in are better). The King guest room was spacious (and in some Hilton’s would qualify as an executive room) and clean. We stayed on the eighth floor and there was a view of the sea in the mid distance, but the views in front of the hotel weren’t great (not Hilton’s fault - c’mon Bournemouth sort it out). This is a quite a lively hotel the very large reception/bar area was always very busy, which we liked. Would stay again.

This hotel is in a good location just a short walk from the beach etc. Most of the staff were nice (especially the top floor bar staff). We had a balcony room which is great but can get a little noisy at night from all the bars etc. Maybe ask for a room the other side of the hotel if this may affect you. Breakfast was nice. They have an executive lounge but for some reason (the staff didn’t know) it’s closed on weekends (am guessing it’s money saving as a lot of parties in Bournemouth on weekends). As diamond members they did give us drinks vouchers as stayed on a Fri night so lounge was closed. The parking is £13 per night on week nights and for some reason £15 per night on weekends. The upstairs bar was nice and staff were great. The pool was nice. The bad points of this hotel: some staff were not so great. They charge £50 for a SERVICE DOG. (Questioned this twice). There were loads of towels/skateboards and even used underwear on the floor in the pool changing rooms. They were there when I entered the pool and still there when I left. Am a diamond member and had to literally get my phone to prove this as they kept saying their system had me listed as gold. The hotel has got potential but just seems a bit cold and less friendly than most Hiltons. Hopefully they will improve with a little training and would be great if the lounge was open every day. Would I stay here again? Maybe on a week night to try the lounge otherwise would try the Hampton which is directly next door and scores well on trip advisor.

Went for a spa day and afternoon tea. The spa was nice but basic. Our treatments were good but the bed I had for a massage was old and very squeaky so it ruined the relaxing aspect. The afternoon was lovely but we were sat in front of a window that had previously smashed and bits of glass were falling from the window on to the floor by our table.

The experience was GREAT !!!!!! The hotel fabulous, The room, beds and shower perfect. The pool fab and the Bar wonderful. I real holiday in a super place. The location is fabulous. everything nearby but steep hills for those that can not walk well. Many restaurant, shops and gardens and sea all near. Staff trained and good. a marvelous holiday . The only complaint is not cancellation later that 60 days which is unheard of. It almost stopped us booking. In 2 months any thing can happen to change you plans.like illness or any thing. So we object t that.

Very Loud and relentless thumping music from nearby Open Air bars. We spent two nights here over the August bank holiday weekend. I can't fault the hotel or staff as they were very accommodating as we had a toddler and a dog. However, the constant 'House/Drum & Bass' music which you could constantly hear whilst in our room was close to torture. From About noon, the restaurant/bar (Tonic social) connected the bottom of the hotel had this pounding music start and continue until 6pm (not great for the afternoon nap of a toddler). This then thankfully stopped only to be replaced with lounder music from an open air bar across the road (Eden). This went on until 3am both nights. Luckily, we were both so tired from the day the first night we managed to sleep, but the second night we were kept awake by it. It was just constant and ruined the trip. Not what i would expect from a Hilton. I know they can't really do much about it, but hopefully more people who complain they can take it to the local authorities. I would conclude by saying it was a lovely hotel, and the staff were great, but I've had better nights sleep in Travel Lodge's. If being well rested is a key point to your trip, then I would book elsewhere.

Beautiful modern hotel with luxurious spa. Spotlessly clean with lovely staff. The gym was quiet whilst we were there with a decent range of machines, and equipment for a good workout. The swimming pool could be a little chilly for some, but balanced with the hot sauna, steam room and great showers a real tonic for the body. Mood lighting, and lovely relaxation area. Jacuzzi integrated into pool, which would probably be used more if it was warmer! Overall a great experience

We went here for a birthday lunch and the service was great but the food just seemed a bit average for the prices we paid. And my husband ordered hummus and got a dish of hummus but nothing to eat it with, unless you live eating your hummus with a spoon! On a plus, I thought the children's menu was good value and both mine are everything and said it was delicious.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. Room very comfortable with a great bathroom. Breakfast an excellent buffet, well worth £15 (or even better, £10, if booked in advance). The sky bar is very chic and the staff make great cocktails. Staff in the hotel very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Would stay here again.

We booked a room with a balcony but the door was locked as the balconies are dangerous, we weren’t told this when we booked. They hadn’t been in use for four months The bar ran out of Gin beer champagne Coca Cola and some wines, every day I have never stayed anywhere as chaotic. We ordered newspapers when we arrived the young man at the desk wrote down our order they never arrived, when we we asked what had happened a young women on the desk said the supplier hadn’t delivered them, later that day I went to check we would get them the next day only to be told they don’t supply newspapers. One of the days the chambermaid had forgotten to service our room they did do it eventually but not that well. We went for a conference for 3 nights we had one dinner in the restaurant and that was good and breakfast was good but the rest of it was awful and I won’t be going back

Lovely hotel, clean and modern. Near the beach and shops. Friendly staff. Loud music playing on our arrival which wasn't very welcoming. Air conditioning and heat wasn't working in the room but was given a fan. Remote control didn't always work. Parking expensive but you can park in cheaper car parks nearby. WiFi was high speed. Would stay again if it was reasonably priced.

We went for an overnight stay with a spa experience. Myself and my husband got a full body massage and they only did our back and my thighs (for some reason not his) we were also meant to get a dual treatment room but they were all running 30 minutes late so after waiting said they couldn’t do it in the room we requested together. So we had it separately. They did give a glass of Prosecco to apologise but overall not a great massage and not a great experience. The bedroom was lovely and spacious though. The beds are quite firm if you like that sort of mattress. They had a shortage of robes and slippers when we arrived so we had to go to reception and ask for them after calling down and the laundry saying it would be a two hour wait minimum I had to suggest maybe if they could go to the spa a take one of their reserved robes and just replace it when their washing was done - we needed them at that time to go from the spa to the treatment area. They finally gave us the robes after going back and forth. I really don’t think it was worth the amount of money we paid! The actual pool area was packed and one out of two showers weren’t working. There are only three beds to lie on down there and for the amount of guests there wasn’t anywhere else to put anything. One of the receptionist women weren’t very kind or polite when we checked in which was also quite disheartening. I don’t recommend.

The hotel was very nice, breakfast was great, but the parking situation ruined the entire experience. We used the parking garage attached to the hotel, and when we went out to our car in the morning our car had been broken in to, with several of our items stolen. When I went to the front desk, I was told there was nothing they could do, and to just call the police. When asked, they admitted that this had happened several times before. I would recommend keeping absolutely nothing in your car if you intend to use their parking facilities!!

The stay was great! I had a room with a balcony and it was awesome! The staff were very nice from the house keeping team to restaurants to reception, they were all great! Also I have to mention that the hotel has great security!

The hotel is situated around 5-10m, walk to the beach and 5 min walk to town. It is a perfect location. Directly across the road is a cinema and various restaurants, so you'd never go hungry. The rooms were spacious as I had an access room. The bed was initially very squeaky and didn't feel comfortable. It took some getting used to, but I got there in the end. There was a chair with leg rest to chill, which I appreciated, a widescreen TV and tea and coffee facilities. The bathroom had toiletries, so there is no need to bring your own. I'm only knocking off a star for the room because I faced a car park The spa was very relaxing, although very small, so don't expect anything palatial. I had treatments in a small room. It wasn't very luxurious to me, though the treatments were AWESOME and something I'd definitely return for. The breakfast, was AMAZING I was expecting a few bits of cheese and ham BUT there was so much selection, full English, yoghurts, pastries, juices, toast, pancakes, you name it, it was available. The breakfast was an 11/10 I loved it. The staff were super friendly as well, an Italian trio who made me feel so welcome. I had a brilliant 2 night spa stay and look forward to going back!

Stayed for two nights which ended up being two of the most horrible nights sleep over ever had. For a 4-star hotel I would have thought they would have nice beds - instead I spent the nights on what felt like an ironing board. While I don't mind a firm mattress, this had zero give in it. The rest of the stay, however, was very good. The staff were friendly and responsive, the service was excellent. Breakfast was, perhaps, a little run of the mill for an upscale hotel but very good nonetheless. Dinner at the restaurant was excellent. Some of the other guests I was with did have to wait a very long time for their rooms. I've never experienced such late availability at a hotel before - having to wait until 5pm or later in some cases. Reading other reviews, this seems to be a common theme. Usually you would expect a room to be available from check-in time, or very close to. Unfortunately, I can't say I'd stay here again - I wouldn't sleep! But all the other features/services are very good.

This is one of the nicest Hilton's I've had the pleasure of staying at, the staff were very attentive from the minute we arrived until we left. The food was really lovely, and service was great. The pool area had such a sureal ambiance, we enjoyed the sauna, steam room & gym. I will definitely being going there again, maybe in the summer months.

  • 4/5 Oli P. 7 months ago on Google
It was okay - rooms were basic but comfortable. If you get the front of the hotel it can be loud from Halo Nightclub across the street. Breakfast was good. The gym was quite a good gym for a Hilton with sauna and pool.

Excellent location - very close to the beach and BIC as well as friendly and efficient staff. Bit confused on car parking but got there in the end - it is next to the Hampton Hilton. Check in quick and easy, Olivia was great. First impressions on hotel it is modern and clean. Lifts very good. We stayed in a king room with balcony. Room very spacious and clean. Only negative is that the bathroom bin was broken and could not open. Had drinks at the sky bar; very quick service. Good view and a nice place for a drink. Breakfast was okay Would stay here again

We had a birthday gift of afternoon tea in the sky bar level 8. The tea was delicious. A delightful mixture of sandwiches , cakes and scones, jam and thick clotted cream. The view across Bournemouth from the sky bar is great. The service was excellent. I would definitely recommend this as treat.

My family have just had a lovely two night stay here. We ranged in age from 10 months to 70 and were very well looked after. The hotel team were friendly and efficient. The rooms extremely clean. The beds very comfortable. We had two breakfasts and dinner in the lovely restaurant. My granddaughters loved the pool. The hotel is very well situated. We would love to stay there again

The room was freezing and we could not get anyone to help with this until the second day. The toilet button is faulty and the water kept running unless it was pressed repeatedly. The drainpipe in the shower stinks. The spa treatment was really poor- a small bowl to stick your feet in for 5 minutes - little done to feet- majority of time was left to have the polish dry. Massage was elbow gearing down on the back area- no notice of areas highlighted on form. Really poor based on prices and expectation Restaurant staff using bare hands to check temperature of food- incredible!

We only stayed for one night, the room and decor throughout was great, really colourful and fun. The staff were nice and friendly. Perfect location for town and the BIC. I enjoyed the sky bar on the top for either great views across the city. I think we may have trued every cocktail on the menu :) we didn't have a great experience with the room service at about midnight, but perhaps it was just an off night.

You cannot go wrong with a Hilton hotel. The hotel is magnificent in the heart of Bournemouth overlooking the town and the sea. The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff go that extra mile. The highlight is the roof terrace bar. It feels like you're in a club and not in the hotel. Prices can be high but its worth looking toward a deal to experience the hotel experience.

Sad start as the room hadn't been cleaned, however was sorted before I even made it back down to the front desk. Lovely room, fantastic shower! Great facilities. Highly recommended

The Hilton in Bournemouth is a fantastic hotel, in a great central location close to the local restaurants and beach. We have stayed there twice now, and continue to be impressed by the cleanliness of the hotel and value for money in the size of the rooms. The hotel is spacious and modern, with two wonderful bars to choose from. The breakfast is buffet style, with plenty of options to suit everyone. Overall, a great hotel if you are looking for a place to stay in Bournemouth.

Stayed here for 2 nights for my partners birthday! Everything was perfect from checking in to checking out! On arrival we was checked in by a very welcoming and helpful young man who kindly gave us a drinks voucher which entitled us to 2 free drinks as it was my partners birthday! We also was surprised with some chocolates and a personalised card in the room which was such a lovely touch! The room itself was beautiful! Couldn’t fault it at all! We also used the spa during our stay which was amazing! We was provided robe and slippers in our rooms and towels were provided when entering the spa! Perfect location and we cannot wait to return!!

Cut my stay short as extremely loud music being played for an event in the hotel that went on until early hours of the morning. Also charged £48 for two nights in the car park....wow. I had to chase for an invoice as it wasn't sent as promised. On the positives...food was good and rooms were clean and good standard.

Stayed here on business, and the room booking was taken care of by my company. Check in was smooth and efficient, went into the room and was pleasantly surprised by the decoration - usually hotel rooms are quite bland, but the decor in the rooms is superb. Bed was really comfy, and breakfast the following morning was superb.

Looks a little tired now I feel. Nightclub on the eighth floor doesn't do them any favors. That said, rooms are OK, restaurant is good. Free use of the pool facilities is a nice bonus and that area was spotlessly clean Of course, perfect location for anything in Bournemouth.

  • 5/5 Laura D. 1 year ago on Google
Beautiful and clean hotel, all of the staff are friendly and helpful. The reception staff are extremely polite, they ask you how you day has been when you return, going that extra mile. Such a welcoming hotel. We have stayed here a couple of times now and definitely will be staying here again when we come back to Bournemouth. We used to stay a lot at the royal bath hotel but over the last 10 years it has become like faulty towers, nothing like it was. So if your looking for a hotel with class and style, and one that makes you feel special then book the Hilton Bournemouth.

  • 4/5 Devon A. 1 year ago on Google
Although not the prettiest Hilton I have stayed at, the room was extremely comfortable and the breakfast, delicious. As I didn't have a sea viewing room, much was left to be desired in that regard. Not far from the city centre, nor the beach, the hotel is in a prime location. I can comfortably recommend a stay here.

  • 5/5 Rashin r. 1 year ago on Google
Our room was so lovely and clean, staff are very friendly and welcoming, thanks Oscar for all your help during our stay! The Spa is nice and clean and it’s complimentary for hotel guests! Breakfast could be better, i wasn’t really impressed compared to other Hilton. The hotel located so close to beach and city centre. Overall we enjoyed our stay and definitely looking forward to go back again.

A pleasant stay in one of their King Guest Rooms. The room was nice and it was clean, but have to say the bed was very uncomfortable so not the best night's sleep. It is in a good location with easy access to the beach front and lots of other entertainment in the vicinity. Breakfast was good with all your usual breakfast type foods.

Beautiful room, airy room. Really pleasant public areas with a quirky theme. The wall of bells is particularly appealing! Really located in a perfect place for good parking and every style of restaurant within a very short walk.
