    Went in to Kay in Riverview (first time) just to have a new band put on my citizen watch. Matt and Erin provided sevice well above what anyone might expect. Thank you! WE will be back for more "substantial" business! Let me add was back a year later and Tori gave me great service

    I am writing to convey our extreme disappointment in the lack of customer service and blatant disrespect my husband and I experienced today at the KAY's store. My husband and I entered the Hutton Riverview KAY's store sometime after 12:30 pm on January 16, 2022. We wanted to exchange our previous earring purchase for bigger diamonds. We were the only customers in the store in addition to the two employees; a white female and a white male. We were not greeted upon entering the store (it wasn't a big issue at first because we assumed they were probably finishing up a transaction). The female was in the checkout area in the store's back, while the male was on the floor checkout computer. My husband and I looking at the earrings, less than 10 feet away from the male. After he finishes working on the computer, he walks to the area where the female was; he does something, then walks to the front of the store, looks at us but goes in the opposite direction. Remind you; we've still had not been greeted or properly acknowledged in what felt like minutes. Eventually, another couple, different race walks in. The male worker immediately greets them by saying hello and asking how he can assist them. Meanwhile, we are still standing there without assistance. Standing in the back of the store by the checkout, the female finally asks how she can help. I begin to share my disappointment. Even though she was apologetic, it was still a gut-wrenching experience. It is troubling that a store such as Kay's will hire employees that do not service ALL humankind regardless of race.

    Very good experience at Kay. The customer service was excellent. Knowledgeable, professional and friendly staff. Needed some service for my 26 year old keepsake Citizen Aqualand Duplex dive watch. Got it back and it's good as new. Watch worked great on my last few SCUBA trips. Thanks Kay for the great experience.

    Recently had two rings repaired, one that was an original purchase from this Kay location and one that was a carry-in. I’ve been coming here and working with Erin Stoops and Gail and their crew now for several years. They are super helpful, kind and funny and every experience is a pleasure. I’m so glad to have found them. This location is great and the staff is wonderful!

    I couldnt have nicer words for the ladies I’ve worked with at this Kay. Tori helped us looking for the perfect wedding band. Always professional and kind but no crazy salesman pressure to buy now. She also helped get my grandmas engagement ring resized for me. When I say I was a little nervous to send off that ring, it doesn’t even start to explain. But after working with Tori I had 100% confidence it would be just fine. The manager at this location is also a dream to work with. She made sure everything was done right. No question that I would shop for all future jewelry purchases at this location. Don’t miss out on them!

    Horrible customer service experience ever. I brought my ring in to be repaired 9/19. I was told it would arrive 10/5. I did receive a call from Tori telling me the additional price of the repair which I agreed to. Due to the hurricane I waited an extra week. When I called I spoke to Tori who told me the date was changed to 10/18. I called the following week and spoke to Tori once again who told me I needed to wait. There was nothing she could do to get me an. Updated status on my ring . I then asked to speak to a manger. Gail the manager said my ring was being delivered the next week that they were waiting for pieces to my ring . Mind you I was only having gold added to the ring. I continued to call for 2 more weeks after. Finally on 11/12 I was able to get my ring. I have never experienced such horrible service at any other Kay’s. I will never ever return to this store.

    My partner and I came in looking for engagement/wedding rings and didn’t really have a clue as to what we were looking for. Brooke was an absolute Angel - she helped us from the moment we walked in to the moment we walked out of the store with our rings.     Jackie! Or should I say “captain code book Karen of the Riverview Kay jeweler”! Thank you for taking thousands of dollars from me for my Christmas gifts; only to treat me like the plague 4 days later when I needed a pin inserted in my watch that I did not buy from you!! If you are not allowed to do that then surely you could let me use the $5 plastic watch pin tool for 10 seconds to do it myself but no! Why try to help another human with a small problem after you already got their money! By the way! Sams club at the next light down has the same diamond rings for hundreds of dollars less! Kay jewelers meets used car shady salesman mentality at this disgusting location! Happy Holidays Jackie! Thanx for nothing!

    I've been to this location a few times and every time I've come the staff has been very cordial and helpful! I've had some bad experiences at other jewelry stores and generally don't like shopping but Kay is my go-to when I plan on buying jewelry.

    Absolutely horrible experience today. Back story , we have been trying to find the perfect ring for weeks now . Finally found the ring and the sales person said we had to order it from online because it wasn’t in any stores and on clearance . No big deal . Paid and left only to find out the store cancelled our order 5 hours later right before they closed and didn’t tell us. Called the store and was told they couldn’t do anything and to call the 1-800 number . Where they confirmed the store cancelled the order and we have no idea why. A very special day completely ruined . Not only do we not get the ring(was on clearance and only one left) but have to wait 5-7 days to get our 8k back ! Will not shop at Kay’s ever again . Especially this one .

    The young lady at the counter was very helpful today when I went in to repair a watch. I thought my Movado had to be sent out for repairs as I could not find this pin anywhere, but luckily she had the clasp pin there that I needed and fixed it free of charge.     The ball was dropped. Really really dropped. And then the manager promised to speak to her district manager to make everything right and never even called us back. Just disappointed! I know people make mistakes. But when u make several mistakes and then ignore the issue, that is a problem :(

    This location DOES remove links from Citizen and Bulova watches. There is always at least one person on site that will be able to perform this service. Please call with your Brand of watch if you need assistance

    My fiancé went to this location for my engagement ring because it's close to our house, but the service was terrible! He spent $2000 and was given inaccurate information about financing.When the first bill arrived it had finance charges and no promotion like they told him. He ordered the ring in size 7, but when he picked it up it was a 6 3/4. He asked to have it sized and they said it would cost $100! He asked if they could just reorder the correct size instead and he would wait, they said no, it only comes in 6 3/4. No apologies for the inconvenience of the wrong size ring or the misinformation on the credit card financing. He was very upset being treated so poorly, so I went into the store to pick up the wedding band. Both ladies remarked on how long it had been since the ring was on hold. I said the wedding band wasn't a priority and due to the pandemic we were struggling for a while. The sales lady was apathetic and said I was lucky the ring was still there. I asked if it was a size 7 and she said no, it's 6 3/4. I said it seems like both rings were ordered incorrectly because my fiance was very specific as to the size needing to be 7. She said as soon as I paid for it ($800) she could send it out to be resized. I thought OK great she's going to make up for the mistakes.. but no, she said it would cost $55 to have it resized! I ended up leaving and ordering it online from Kay's. Where not only was I able to get a size 7, but also a coupon code for $25 off by signing up to their email list. We will not return to that store location for anything in the future. I will purchase online or at the Brandon mall.

    Went here today for my 6 month ring cleaning and to buy a mothers day watch. I was asked to put on a mask (which has never happened the 3 other times Ive come here or even during the height of Covid) so I left. My frustration is that their policy is NOW to wear a mask even though Florida doesnt have a mask mandate anymore and I havent done so when shopping here previously. I understand they are a business and can do what they want however if they choose to keep their policy then they should offer a different option for people that do not want to be masked but yet still need to get their rings cleaned without the canceling their warranty.
