I adore Fav's normally, so I figured they would be able to handle a simple special order like a hot veggie sub... Instead of cold. The veggie sub is supposed to have Provolone cheese, lettuce, tomato, onions, mushrooms, green peppers and black olives, and I added banana peppers for an additional upcharge. When I got the sandwich (which I went and picked it up and brought it home), I opened it because it looked a little thin. There were no green peppers and no mushrooms on it. I called and spoke to the person who made it who swore to me they were there... Hello, I'm looking right at it. If they're there then they are tiny and so irrelevant to not matter on this sandwich... But she said she'd make me a new one, "if I wanted". Well, yeah. I want what I paid for. Sometimes we make a mistake, and instead of telling the customer who's looking right at the product in question that they're wrong, not you, you should just accept that you messed up. I don't know when I'll be back again because of the attitude of that staff person. At least she got it right the second time. I made sure to check before I drove home this time. Oh, and she said, "Your tomatoes may have been all in one side because of when I wrapped it they sometimes get squished to one side". Huh? How does that work? All 2 tomatoes were on one half. It's a veggie sub. Don't be so greedy with the vegetables. This happened in May, and I haven't been back yet. Too bad, I really like their food.

Real Italian cuisine made by descendants of Italians. The place is set like an Italian canteen with spaces inside and outside, in general it is quite crowded and there are not many tables since the room is rather small and outside there are some more tables in a hall that is between the sidewalk and the main entrance. The predominant food is pasta, which is very well done and some appetizers also made from Italian roots that can be a good option to combine instead of a main dish. The bread that they give you while you wait is a very rich homemade bread that comes with a bowl of olive oil and garlic that is one of the best I have had. In general, the place has a happy and familiar spirit, very bright and warm. The service is excellent and the owners usually chat with the diners which is always a plus point.

We have went to Favs on several occasions and always have great service and the food is delicious! Went there with my daughter last night and they were very busy and we had the best experience and made our night even more special by the amazing service we received. We love this place and will continue to come back!

The photo is the tortellini Rosa and it was amazing. This is the second time I've been here and I can't express enough how good the food it. The staff remembered me and brought out a bottle of wine that I knew I would like. They have specials everyday which is usually hand made pasta and $10 bottles of wine! I travel for work and I make an effort to go here at least once a week.

Oh! So good! 21 years of deliciousness! Another staple of fresh home made pasta and sauce. The lasagna is my wife’s favorite! I enjoyed the Italian sausage, goat cheese, linguine and house made sauce. Fav’s is a small quaint restaurant that delivers amazing homemade Italian dishes and pizza. Don’t forget to try their olive oil with fresh hot out of the over bread.

All-around incredible experience. Not often do I find a place with great staff, food, and location. Our waiter was very attentive to our needs, every aspect of the food was excellent (salad, bread, entrée), and the downtown location was the perfect atmosphere. Even the prices were very reasonable! I don't often leave reviews, but when I can find nothing to critique that's worth reviewing.

If you're looking for an amazing atmosphere and a fantastic staff, go here. The olive oil and bread are beyond delicious. The meatballs were awesome. Chicken parm was also great. Personally, the sauce was a bit too sweet for me but my husband suggested it just had a big of "tang" to it and he like it and he does not like sweet sauce either. With that being said that would NOT keep me from going back like most places. I'd really like to try the stromboli next time.

Absolutely superb. Family Italian at reasonable prices. Bottle for $13. Original owners. Definitely the kind of place worthy of your dollars and taste buds.

2nd time here. Excellent food. Shared the classic Spaghetti and meatballs, and the lasagna. My meal started with a green salad. I had the Parmesan peppercorn salad dressing made in-house. Delicious. Their bread while you wait comes out warm with some oil to use for dipping. $10 wine bottles. Can't best this place. Will be back again and again.

3-1-23. Mama Mia. Finally found real NJ/NY style pizza! Amazing crust and a great sauce. We had a large Syl’s meatball pizza (meatballs are sliced like coins), it was fantastic. I stopped in while I was in Bradenton. A nice highly rated local restaurant in the middle of a nice row of businesses and arcade. Established over 20 years ago this place is still going strong. I tried their garlic cheese bread and a deep dish personal pizza. Everything tasted good. I was left wishing for more flavor with the bread... More garlic and a day of salt or an added cheese would pop it off. I also think their oven is on the high side, probably for speed reasons... But the bread was tough on the bottom. Again- it was good! I would order it again The deep dish is delightful. Nice, flavorful... Great treat! I wish I could have eaten more. They have a nice spread of sandwiches on the menu. Stromboli too... I will leave it for you to explore, you should stop by and support this local Establishment!!

We were in Bradenton visiting friends and they took us here. The food was fantastic!! It was the best lasagna I've ever had! I love this place! Great food for a reasonable price.

I had the Italian sub, twice, and it was delicious! My boyfriend got the meatball sandwich and said it's the best he's ever had. We also had lasagna and sausage with red sauce. Both delicious and the staff is outstanding!

We have been looking for a good thin crust pizza with a crunch and have finally found it! The crust is made in house and everything about this pizza was fresh. The waitress and cooks were very friendly and this was a nice casual atmosphere. We’ll be back!

Downtown bradenton partaking in the Irish festivities and landed here for some pizzas. We ordered 2.. the Irish pizza with potato, cabbage, corn beef toppings, and a sausage on all with banana peppers on half. The crust were thin (I personally like them a little thicker and less crunchy), but the flavors were fantastic. I was shocked to enjoy the Irish pizza as much as much as I did. We had a long wait time....it was st Patrick's day, and they were busy. We were given the last table in the inside hall, which was ok....we definitely would have preferred a table outside watching those celebrating, but..... they were all taken. We enjoyed our pizzas and recommend giving them a try.

Top of the line service, top of the line food, great experience, reasonable prices. Food was delicious, our server Matt had fantastic wine knowledge and was on the ball. We had a cheese tortellini with sausage and the daily special of linguini with a cream-wine sauce with shrimp. Amazing! Also had a $12 bottle of wine that Matt recommended based on our preferences that was great too! Definitely want to go again and again!
