A beautiful tranquil park in West Gwillimbury! It has several hiking trails, marshes, and a dog park. It was not busy at all when we visited over the weekend. It’s an awesome way to enjoy nature and do some exercise. It has beautiful scenery and feels so relaxing! It’s definitely worth exploring whether alone or with family and friends. Yet, don’t forget about mosquitoes! It’s better to bring some insect repellent.

A very nice winter hike! Went on a weekday and it was very peaceful with the sounds of the birds and the crunch of the snow. Did the blue trail (3.3km) and it was a nice moderate trail with some changes in elevation but pretty still able to walk comfortably. Would definitely want to come back in other seasons and also to check out the other trails! Paid parking in effect, easy to be done with the app (clear instructions at the parking lot)

Beautiful conservation park well maintained parking lots. There are 4 lots ( you need to pay online ). If you’d like to go in the winter, you should be prepared and have proper hiking shoes and gloves since trails are not maintained in the winter time. All in all beautiful scenery from start to finish.

This is a wow beautiful place to visit in winters, especially after snow falls. It was very busy Sunday, the small parking lot was full. Took the out most loop, it was about 5km in length.

Update : -1 star, now you have to pay for Parking for this trail… Good trail, with lots of up and down hills! It’s very scenic with lots of great areas to take pictures! I went winter hiking and I can say it was very beautiful there. Would definitely want to go back during the summertime to hit all the trails.

Many routes to explore but not all suitable for stroller - include stairs and steep slopes at times. Good place if you need shade. Kids loved it. There is off-leash area if you are a dog person

Cool place to hike. Only suggestion I would have is better maps on the trails. With "you are here" markings for people like me. Luckily everyone on the trail is super friendly!

Excellent system of trails with well-maintained paths and many small wooden bridges where you can get a few glimpses of the running stream. There were a lot of families and dog walkers. There are supposed to be bird watching trails but we didn't see anything other than two blue jays. It was a beautiful day and a beautiful hike.

A very nice area for a simple walk, especially beautiful in autumn. My photos were taken in early October. Note: All trails are dog friendly with an off-leash area in the center of the park.

Its a hidden gem and there is something here for everyone! Cool trails for walking, birdwatching, picnic, hiking etc. We spent about an hour and managed to explore only some areas. Will definitely be going back!

Nice, quiet, pretty maintained bridges and a nice lookout. Nothing spectacular or unique and has quite a few mosquitoes.

Awesome dog park. Has 2 areas. 1 for smaller dogs and it's a smaller gated area. 2nd area is massive with a mini trail. Couple of benches and a communal dog bowl of water. The people who come are super friendly too. There is also a trail path at the other side. There's signs you can see but dogs must be leashed. 5 different trails 3km being the longest. It's great for hikes with dogs, jogging etc. Trails are maintained, and there's bathrooms on some of the trails which is awesome.

***TICKS*** be sure to check your dogs and yourself. Black legged ticks found- one on my dog as well as my friend found 3 ticks on their dog. Other than that very nice place to take your dogs and enjoy nice trails.

a nice place to enjoy nature. the signs are a bit confusing if you're there for the first time... I got lost twice before someone explained me how they work, the trails are easy and very enjoyable.

Needs more visible signage throughout the area, can get easily lost. Love dogs, so the bark park is awesome. Washrooms need some help but great to have some on-site. Fun hike around when in the area!

Scanlon Creek is absolutely beautiful in the fall. I love coming here because there are (limited) bathroom facilities, the trails are well marked, and it has a safe, family friendly atmosphere. There is also tons of parking on the weekends, even when it’s busy.

The trails here are very nice but REALLY infested with bugs and mosquitoes. We had a hard time when we went in August, so much that we literally had to run our way out of the place. Bug spray is definitely recommended
