Loved our stay at the Old Hall! The rooms were cozy and comfortable, the pub fare was excellent and local, the location is right at the quaint cobble stone street that leads you through lovely Haworth. We were greeted by Gemma and Bill upon check in, enjoyed delicious steak & chips at the pub and joined Quiz Night our first evening. It was so fun and welcoming playing and chatting with the locals. If you want an authentic and warm Yorkshire experience, we highly recommend the Old Hall. The location was perfect but it’s the staff who made this place so wonderful. We would absolutely stay here again.

Had a lovely week in Haworth and visited Haworth Old Hall three times. The food was delicious, prices reasonable, the venue is lovely and the staff were brilliant. They squeezed 10 of us in on a very busy night, and even though they were run off their feet, the food and service was second to none. Would recommend 🤓

Absolutely fantastic place to stay. The room was lovely and clean. The food in the restaurant was delicious, well priced and great value. The staff we encountered were extremely pleasant and helpful. The bed was so comfortable my wife slept for the full night for the first time in months. We will definitely be visiting again in the future. Thank you for such a pleasant stay.

We stayed over as a guest on Saturday 10/6/23 and had drinks outside between 5pm and 6pm and then our evening meal in the restaurant at 8pm until late. The building and decoration of the pub is lovely and all the staff were very friendly. The evening meal was enjoyable and well worth the money paid being a good balance between quality and value. Drinks prices were also reasonable. The accommodation was very good and there was everything we needed for a good nights stay.

Nice old pub. Good selection on the menu. Food was nice, sausage and mash would’ve benefited from some veg but tasted good. Scampi and chips were nice.

We had not visited since the establishment of the new ownership and decided to visit to sample the new winter menus. We were warmly greeted by the bar manager and staff and taken to our table. The food was amazing and the price of the drinks were very good too. The place was buzzing and the staff were well organised. We will definitely be returning. Thank you so much.

From the moment we walked in we felt welcomed and valued, largely due to the fact that Lily was so very warm and friendly, nothing was too much trouble, she’s a real credit to you. You have such a wonderful old building, it felt such a privilege to be there. The food was outstanding, very good portions, so much so I was beaten by my delicious fish and chips! If I could I would visit you regularly, but as we were on holiday from Cambridge sadly we won’t be able to.

We have visited Haworth Old hall quite a few times whenever we come to Haworth, we love the architecture and quaintness. We have only ever had drinks in the past but on Saturday we decided to have dinner. We were so happy with the food, it was delicious and great quality and quantity. My husband had the chicken strips for starters, then steak and a sundae for dessert. He loved it all which is unusual as he’s normally very fussy. I had lamb kofta, steak and ale pie then tiramisu, again all delicious. The service was great, they were very attentive and the bill wasn’t too expensive. Well worth the day out. We will definitely be back again soon x

Plenty of carparking space......beautiful historic building and decor. Booked for 1.30pm, and table was ready for seating at that time. Very welcoming staff and attention at all times throughout the meal. Lovely Sunday roast, served on warmed plates and piping hot main meal food and gravy. Ample portion sizes and drinks at reasonable prices. Very pleasing experience at this venue.

Food always nice but this year was next level, the chap who greeted customers was so patient and profession despite being full and so many people asking to accommodate without prior booking , (luckily we did), our waitress (Tracey) was lovely - first class very friendly and always attentive. well done all, you made a special day even more special for me and my family.

Our first visit to The Old Hall and the occasion was catching up with old friends visiting the area. The restaurant was busy but a nice friendly buzz with a cosy atmosphere especially on a cold winters day. Our waitress who attended our table was pleasant and gave us a run down of specials and pies &soups of the day. The drinks promptly arrived at our table and orders were taken. We all went for a starter and main and I can happily say our choices of food were excellent. I especially enjoyed my steak &Ale pie in a traditional short crust pastry casing, with proper gravy. We all had a enjoyable lunch and will differently return in the near future. Well done the Old Hall.

The food was fantastic, especially the sharing starter but equally important so was the service. Emily and Lily looked after us fantastically - they were both so helpful and chatty without being too much. They both made the whole experience so much better. The atmosphere was lovely and festive and even though it was busy, it didn’t impact on the service at all. Nothing negative to say - well done to you all!

The service was absolutely great. My only constructive feedback would be that my Turkey Trio dinner was warm but not hot enough and I had to send it back for reheating. When my meal arrived there was no gravy in the Yorkshire pudding and therefore was dry, whilst my wife’s Yorkshire Pudding had plenty of gravy in it. Also the crackling was too hard to bite through. It’s a busy time of year and the table service was excellent, BUT the meals should be quality checked before they leave the kitchen. Will we go back? Absolutely, we do every year because we love the atmosphere and excellent service, but if I order the roast next time I will probably ask for it hot. P.S. I would highly recommend the Old Hall without doubt, and my comments are honest because if you don’t say anything, how are the managers / kitchen staff to know?!

We stayed overnight in the large room above the main entrance. What a beautiful room! It was wonderfully furnished and a very special place to stay. We also ate in the restaurant and had a fabulous meal. The staff were all excellent. The hotel is so close to the main street and all the Haworth sights. Overall we had an excellent time and can't wait to return.

Beautiful building in a stunning location. Called several times hoping to eat here but you really need to book. When we did finally manage to eat the food blew us away. I'm a massive steak fan and I've eaten in many expensive steak houses over the years. The sirloin here almost definitely took the top spot. The starters looked quite small when they arrived at our table but once we started eating we quickly realised it was compact quality food. I had the prawn cocktail, this was amazing. Great drink choices in a calming vibrant environment. Definitely a place we're going to re visit.

Staff were all lovely and very welcoming, atmosphere was nice however, we were disappointed in the food. I did mention to the waitress when paying my personal opinion would be to offer gravy in a gravy boat with the sausage and mash as there was far too much for my liking. My husband got the kebab, the bread and chips were nice but the filling was tasteless and did discuss whether it was cooked from frozen. Wouldn’t rush back for food but drinks and atmosphere yes

Easy to make a reservation, and change the timing if needed. Staff were very welcoming and quick to ask for our drink order whilst providing the menus so we could choose our meal. The menu had a good variation of choices, and even offered a 30% discount on anything from the grill. The food was nicely presented, and our group had a mixture of choices, which were all good. Old Hall has a good atmosphere, being hundreds of years old. We will be back, thank you.

We were hoping to eat here as the Google business page as well as the website both state that the kitchen is open until 10pm; we arrived just after 8.30pm. The server at the bar was very apologetic and explained that the kitchen stopped serving at 8.30pm; I mentioned that on their actual website as well as Google it states that the kitchen closes daily (bar Sundays) at 10pm. She was lovely and helpful, recommending alternative establishments that should still be serving. I would definitely go back in the future based on her service alone! However, the management need to consider updating their online information.

Lovely friendly welcome, shown to our table and a blanket brought over for the dog to lie on. Drinks order taken & delivered very quickly. We ordered the calamari as a sharing starter. Very tender & tasty. I ordered my usual scampi & chips for main course with the homemade tartar sauce being particularly good. My husband ordered the ham hock which was absolutely delicious. Very tender (fell off the bone) and the mustard sauce was delicious. Lovely friendly waitresses & the bar itself is very homely & welcoming. Good prices, a great dining experience and would definitely return when we visit again

I last came to the Howorth Old Hall approximately 20yrs ago. I decided I would show my daughters how amazing the premises was and I booked a meal for last night. The service was outstanding and the food delicious and all at a great right price. My daughters fell in love with the place and want to go again soon. Such a beautiful building/environment for a very special night. Thank you Howorth Old Hall. Two members of staff where I work are already going to book a table on my experience last night. I cannot recommend it enough. ....Enjoy. x

Easy booking system, table was ready when we arrived. Staff were busy but managed to be attentive to our choices, including gluten free. Food was tasty. No rush for us to finish, this was our first meal with friends for around six months so we had plenty to talk about.

Read really good reviews and the menu seemed better than most. The food was below average. We had “pie of the day” which was steak and ale and the pastry was hard and burnt. When I left the feedback and explained about the food, the waitress who was serving pulled her face and had a bit of attitude (almost like it was a personal insult). The food tasted like it had been re heated from earlier. We only ate there so can not comment on rooms etc.

I booked here for a meal for 7 for my autistic son's 16th Birthday. I explained on the booking form he was autistic and they accommodated us by providing a quiet area for us to eat as requested. The whole evening was a success. The food was amazing, the service too. We were checked on just a couple of times to ask about the food so they kept disturbance to a minimum to accommodate my 16 year old son. It's a beautiful pub restaurant to eat in. One of my daughters saw "a wisp of smoke" follow my eldest son as he got up to use the men's room and a quick Google told us the pub is reputed to be haunted, so there's more than just spirits at the bar! A well deserved five stars from all of us. Thank you for providing us with a memorable evening.

A lovely venue for a meal or just a drink in a good location for all the tourist attractions. The staff were excellent and the service was very good. We didn't have very long to wait for our meals which were delicious and well presented and were all reasonably priced. The toilets were on the ground floor and spotlessly clean. There is ample car parking and a lovely sitting out area. Well worth a visit

My wife along with me and two of my cousin's went to Haworth old hall for a meal I have to say not only was the food first class the service was also. In fact we gave the two girls a considerable tip. I asked them to compliment the chef for excellent food 👍

We are Americans travelling through the area and so were happy to find such a personable staff willing to chat a bit. Gemma, Freya, Daisy, and Emma helped make our meal memorable. They were very accommodating of my allergy, and the food was quick, well-prepared, and delicious! We ate every bite! The chocolate pie with raspberry sorbet was to-die-for. This place has my highest recommendation. Don't miss it.

A wonderful old Manor house dating back to 1580 and retaining much of its history. The staff here were exceptionally kind and efficient, making a fuss of my wife and I on the occasion of our wedding anniversary. Nothing was too much trouble and our room was superb with a very large and comfortable bed. We will return.

We visited twice last year whilst we were on holiday in Haworth and the food was great. We returned again this year and they have a lovely new menu. Service and food was excellent. (The only slight disappointment was that they didn't have the mac & cheese still on the menu. Our daughter said it was the best ever and was gutted they no longer serve it! )

Popped in mid afternoon for drinks in pub garden - can't really go wrong with half a lager shandy & a coke! Against my better judgement, mum talked me into booking table for this evening.... In & out in under an hour. Warm welcome, friendly (young) staff, quite pleasant interior. Was told many items not on tonight's menu - red flag! Mum ordered steak n ale pie. 2 pieces of meat, pitiful amount of mash accompanied by bland greens. I ordered the soy glazed baked salmon. Admittedly, salmon was quite tasty, however, was not expecting it to be laid across 'crushed' under seasoned new potatoes which were piled on top of soggy, bland courgettes with 2 measly baby corn & where were my stir fry green beans & mixed peppers? Added lots of s&p before asking for more of the glaze in an effort to enhance this meal. Staff were apologetic & pie was taken off the bill. Disappointed as changed original plans to support local business (whilst staying in Haworth.)
