Excellent service, friendly and efficient (even with the annoying customer who never knows what she wants!), long queues move quickly. Never a spare table but it's tiny and well laid out to feel spacious. More tables would be too cramped. Only lost a star because hair nets can cover all the hair and the owner will still look very pretty without bits of hair sticking out all over. Other than that, staff seem fussy about cleanliness.

One of my favorite subways up an down the country always a warm welcoming atmosphere especially Abby who goes above an beyond to make sure you leave with a smile with her infectiously possiitive attitude an kindness

Nothing wrong with the food today (19.01.18 @ 12:45) or the two ladies making the subs but the lad on the till needs training in customer service and politeness. No please or thank yous from him, didnt ask if I wanted any drinks, crisps, etc with my sub and when I gave him my sub card he told me "it was a bit late for that as I've already rung it through"

Horrible have had diarrhea twice from this place! First time thought it was coincidence but the second time i had only eaten the subway that day! Also lacking in cleaning I noticed food ect not cleaned on floor tables grubby too Hygiene rating isn’t genuine thats for sure either that or they get alerted when the inspector is coming

When ordering through Uber eats we seem to have a problem with every order. Something is missing or items are just completely wrong. Ordered 2 tuna subs, one with just lettuce (I have a picky eater) and the other with MULTIPLE other salad items but for some reason the staff have just ignored what the order says yet again. Thought I’d treat myself after a hard week at work but will not be ordering through Uber eats again because clearly staff are incapable of reading. Not what you want when you’re paying over £6 per sub. To make matters worse they couldn’t even put the right cookies in.

Haven't been in a while and was quite disappointed. Prices have gone up, quality has gone down. No decent deals like they used to have either. The chicken breast tasted funny and they were really very stingy with the salad. The manager was helpful when I had a problem with the subcard app, but apart from that very little good to say I'm afraid! you're gonna have to up your game Subway Shipley if you want to stay in business!

I had it delivered and it wasn’t up to standard. I got a hearty Italian bread and it was extremely dry and hard there was no moistness to the bread at all, the bread started cracking and falling apart. Compared to when we’re in store and order the bread is soft, and moist. So I am quite disappointed with my meal and I don’t think I’ll be getting it delivered again.

Service with a smile 😁 goes a long way. Edit: Saturday 2nd September 2023 Absolutely appalling behaviour from the young Asian woman who seemed to be in a team leader/managerial position. The new recruit was constantly moved from pillar to post without any chance of learning in an adequate manner. She lacked any form of professionalism with staff or with customers after speaking in Urdu/Arabic about a customer in a derogatory manner. When confronted she proceeded to make personal remarks about the customer all while refusing service and insisting they leave. Is this the type of attitude you want to display in your stores? If not then this person should be held accountable for creating an unpleasant scene for everyone in the store at that time around 2pm her name badge was not on display either Also what the hell is the snot like substance in the sweetcorn?

Fine except that the only choice of ham is halal.

Senior service man attitude was very bad.. not allow to take a glass even if we brought bottle of Pepsi.. Treat customer without smile...Not a welcoming attitude. Juniors service people are ok ..

When my food arrived (late) the drink was warmer than the food which was all squashed and my cookies were in a million pieces

Food was terrible, the vegetables and sauces that were asked for werent on the wrap, and didn't toast it. Steak also looked uncooked. Server was also touching her hair and then touching the food. Never again

Disappointed, ordered 3 platters and ended up with the day befores bread due to the proofer not working right.

Great food at a reasonable price. Subs are always delicious. Great adding only the salad etc that you like.

Work nearby so go around once a week. Never had a problem in terms of running out of bread/fillings. Staff are polite and the sandwiches are better than other subways. Loses a star because the geordie lad always gets the sauce everywhere, other than that spot on.

The staff here are poorly trained, unprofessional and abusive. The manager is unprofessional and lazy. It is run by sexism and misandry and is a blemish on the subway franchise. This place is always empty and it's no wonder why. The atmosphere is cold and unwelcoming, the overly loud and inappropriate gossiping by the staff ruins the taste of the food.

This was a fabulous restaurant to get a takeaway from, where all of the options are clearly displayed above the counter. Here, I was served by very friendly staff with no wait whatsoever; I bought my food for a reasonable price of around £5 and the restaurant had cleanliness fully maintained! The staff gave me my order promptly at the counter and I had the delicious combo of a Turkey sub with Nacho Chicken Bites, accompanied by ketchup.

3 people behind the counter, one, person on the till, one making the sandwiches, one assisting/stocking up salad etc. When there is more than 3 customers waiting to be served, you would think more than one person would help making sandwiches? No, had to wait 10 minutes to be served.

Standard subway. Good seating area and friendly staff.

Friendly staff, sandwiches Ok. The whole place just looked as if it hadn't been looked after and the toilets needed a really good clean.
