Very tasty! I had the Biscuits n Gravy because I heard it was good. And it was! It was delicious! You also pick your side potatoes, there are three choices: Hashbrowns, Red potatoes or Tots. I was recommended the Red potatoes by our wonderful server, Megan. They were very tasty! I recommend them now too. This place is a neat hidden little gem.

We went for breakfast during a super busy day (BIR Nationals weekend) and had to wait 20 minutes to be seated. It was well worth it. The food was delicious! The wait staff were friendly and engaging. I got the corned beef omelet with hash browns and strawberry cream cheese French toast. My Daughter also got the Smore's French toast.

I liked the looks of the place. It was clean and open. Menu o.k., but not a whole lot to choose from and the prices were a bit more than figured for some of it. Seemed like it's supposed to be like more home-style cooking. I had the Hot Beef Sandwich. Decent amount of beef, gravy was very good. I think the potatoes were instant, but better than most. They put a scoop of stuffing with gravy on it, but the stuffing was super dry and after tasting it,left it alone! Will we go again??? Not sure, but if I did, it would be to try the hamburger, even though it would be almost $13 to come to a final decision,so it may be a while.

Was a great little place. Limited seating so prepare for a wait on busy days. Food was good and reasonably priced.

The Brainerd area's, best kept little secret for breakfast.... I've been here three times now and every time was absolutely a wonderful experience. Great food and great staff. The owner is usually wondering around making sure everything is good. Her hard work and dedication show through her staff. My coffee was topped off at least five times as I was waiting for my food to come and I was checked on about seven times. Everyone works as a team you can't ask for better than that. Every food item is reasonable priced, on menu to what I see in the Twin City area. Their service and food, blows anything away, that I've been to here in the whole state of Minnesota in The Last 5 Years.....

We waited 45 minutes for our food. And my husband was not happy with his food. Our waitress did give us a 10% discount for the wait. No discount for the bad meal. The waitress did her best . Becky is cool.

Yummy breakfast spot to stop when you have to drop someone off at the airport at o'dark-thirty. A great treat and almost makes getting up and driving an hour worth it!

Great place to get some breakfast. Food is always good and the service is next level. Fast, friendly, and served with a smile. If you haven't tried it yet, you should.

Great breakfast. Atmosphere is not fancy by any means, but if you are looking for the small town, breakfast joint feel, this is your place to go. Affordable, good tasting food with staff that do an awesome job at service.

My wifes eggs were not even barely cooked, mine were over cooked, my daughter pancakes were so tough we couldn't even cut them. The server was nice and understanding. Took over an hour to get our food and this was how it came out. Someone I believe was a manager came over and explained they have a small kitchen and 2 cooks. I can deal with the long wait time but when the food doesn't come out cooked properly, that's a problem. We won't be back.

I have pretty high expectations with food but, more so breakfast…the bacon was simply worthy of the trip alone. We ordered for 6 so we tried a bit of everything I’m not a big trying type…I mean the food is really good as it was hyped up to be. The pancakes topped IHOP any day- The only thing I thought strange was the biscuits and gravy was like a cornbread and gravy. Is this a northern thing? It was good. I’m not southern but, it needs a different name and more gravy. Hope to eat inside soon.

Reminded me of the Cafes when I was a kid. Busy, a little noisy and great food. We had 4 different breakfast meals and all were great. We want to try again at lunch time.

I had the egg's Benedict and it was delicious! The hash browns I requested to be crispy but wasn't very crispy and a little undercooked on the inside. The servers were friendly and polite. I would still recommend this place to anyone who appreciates the good home town atmosphere and friendly staff.

What a wonderful little place! First time here and will NOT be my last! We’ve driven by it so often and finally stopped for a late breakfast on a Friday….the quality and freshness of the food blew me away. We had a skillet and an omelet and both were so good, fresh hash browns were incredible, portions fantastic and price point excellent. Added a piece of cake afterwards and wow. Just wow. Something about homemade cake, topped with homemade whipped cream, I don’t know how to describe how good that is to me. It’s like being at Grandmas house. 😍 Anyway we’ll be back for the made fresh daily corned beef Reuben and I also want to try some homemade chicken salad. And yes, I will try whatever homemade dessert these angels have dreamed up! The service was quick and so friendly and we got a tip about busiest times (Saturday/Sunday 10a-1p) so I also loved that tidbit. All in all a really great place that Brainerd should be proud of and everyone should check out asap!

Nice old fashion country dinner with food at a average price. Friendly service and a clean restaurant. When the food arrived at the table it was nice and hot. The presentation was on the plate was also very nice. Yes, I will be going back again. Hours open is 6am to 3pm Enjoy

Brittney was our waitress and amazing from the moment we walked in. The restaurant was full & a large party in front of us. She greeted us & assured the wait would be short. We were seated quickly & food was equally as amazing as the wait staff. Large portions & fair prices. All staff were working busily, friendly & always a smile on their faces. Clean & cozy restaurant. GREAT work team Skillet!

Great small town cafe vibe. It is locally owned by a former server. She really puts the focus on customer service and delicious food. Not a lot of seating and the place can get quite busy. Worth waiting for a bit though.

👍👍 Ever since my first visit I have loved Burritos California. As a world traveler, this small family-owned restaurant felt like stepping into a different country- which I love. The staff are wonderful and the food is amazing. It's set up similar to chipotle with better food (in my opinion). If I could...
