A surprising water stream to chill in the sun. Many picnic spots available. Well maintained grass lands and parking areas. Kids enjoy the on premise kids playsets. Security/police could be seen moniotoring in deeper sections of the stream for anti social activities. Only open till August for some reson.

Peaceful place. Has a big parking space. You could see big play area with slides and other things for kids. A wide but not much deep lake/flowing water where you can sit in between using you beach/outdoor chairs.

It's a Well-maintained, clean park with lots of picnic areas. There isn't much crowd on the weekdays and the kids would love the play area.

It's called Eldorado for a reason. Something magical about this park. They have playground and lots of picnic areas but I recommend taking a walk around all the accessible parts of the park. I guarantee you'll feel serene. I recommend visiting at a less busy time and stepping into the river. Great for meditation, yoga, thai chi, breathe work, all the things. There is lots of parking on site. The trail is closed off. One of my favorite parks

A lovely spot by the Credit River with picnic spots(within family as of now), a short trail, playgrounds on either side of the river and ample parking. Open ground for kite flying or a friendly game soccer(post pandemic). The bridge seems to be a famous photo spot. Highly recommended

It is a nice park. It has 2 play areas for kids. It has nice tall trees. In the evening around 6 pm it's cold there. Don't forget to take your jacket with you. It has a lot of benches to sit.

A beautiful nature park, with provisions for a family picnic. The river Credit flows through this park adding to the charm. There are vast open spaces and benches for public use. Charcoal barbecues are not allowed. Enjoyed my visit here to this tranquil place.

This is a beauty to venture in all seasons.. this time it was fall and weather was so good and taking a walk into the woods was so relaxing and had breathtaking views both for eyes and photography. Kids enjoy the playground and the fun of playing with leaf piles. And for spring and summer it makes a good spot for picnic with family and friends.

A naturally beautiful park with a small river adding further to the beauty. It's good for daytime family picnic, if you want a peaceful day with family. If you plan to throw a party to your friends, it's advisable to reserve a spot in advance.

Very nice place to go with kids. My kids love it here. Not only is it close to home but it also doesn't get too crowded (during the week). I've never gone on a weekend but i hear it does get pretty crowded then. There are tables to eat on, there is plenty of green space to play, there are 2 playgrounds (1 for bigger kids and 1 for the smaller ones which I love). There is a pool (we've never been to it). The park is well maintained, I've never seen and overflowing garbage can and staff I seen patrolling very often. The water in the river is not deep but I do recommend for whoever is going in to wear sandals or water shoes as there are many little rocks in the beginning and then get to bigger ones further in. Overall a fun place to bring kids and have a good time.

Huge park. Decent gravel parking. Playground has a kids zip line that will make your kids want to return over and over.

Took my kids to this park and they just loved playing in the river, water is shallow and it’s very safe, great place to spend time with the family, there are a lot of tables and play area for kids. Usually overcrowd during the weekends.

Nice picnic areas. Plenty of Blue Jays during the days. Bring unsalted peanuts they love them! Park currently closes at 7pm.

Very large park with big zones. Beautiful flowing river alongside. Few sections of parking. Lots of greenery and mature trees. Ice cream truck is always there. There is in park security and city service to pick up garbage from the bins. Non charcoal BBQ allowed.

Found this place just driving by on a snowy winter day. Decided to have a in truck picnic. There was nobody there so it was amazing! I made a table inside the truck so it was awesome! The bridge looked steep in the snow so having a 4x4 felt pretty cool that day! There's tons of parking, it the winter that is but if you bring food, hot coco and coffee, it'll be an awesome day for you too!

When I enter the park, it looked like an ordinary park where children were playing. After going deeper down, I saw a little river and lots of picnic tents. The view is amazing from the river bridge. There is a swimming pool also where you will be charged around 2 CAD for swimming which is pretty good. Finally, I spent some time with nature and watched youngsters playing games. Overall, it was a nice experience and I must say that it is a perfect picnic spot.

El Dorado is lovely and would recommend for family gathering or short hikes. Credit river is a huge bonus.

Beautiful park. Nice picnic areas. Kids playground with many activities like tunnels, slides, swings, upper body, merry-go-round. Parking is there. Washrooms are available ( while chair accessable). Park authority is doing a very good job to keep the park clean.

It's a wonderful Park and have playgroup for the children. Apart from these have large picnics areas as well as swimming pool too. By the way, it's also dog friendly.

Great place for kids and adults alike. The playground and parks are well kept and maintained. Swimming pool is a good size and life guards and staff are super helpful. The picnic spots are highly recommended that they be reserved online as it does get busy very fast.

Also, there are alot of picnic spots where families can spend time enjoying nature with near and dear ones. There is an outdoor swimming pool in the park for the public to use. However, it is currently closed due to the pandemic. Overall, a good park with loads of parking spots and people can enjoy the outdoors here while maintaining social distance during these tough pandemic times.

This is such a pretty place just off the city road. River is easy accessible. Many tables for picnic. Charcoal Bbq is not allowed . Swings for children are available. Very lush and green. Highlight is the outdoor pool in middle of the trees!!

I have been visiting this park for over 4 years. I always enjoy the river and nature trails. It's a wonderful place for meditation and reflection and there are plenty of places to relax. I visit during all seasons, as it puts me in a place of deep peace and calm, especially when life's challenges are rearing their heads. So grateful for this space

We regularly visit this park throughout the summer. Great for day camping and BBQ. It has got two playgrounds. And the best part is the river.

A very beautiful view on port credit river. It was winter time where you can see the river edges started to freeze while the winter just started. I am sure on spring and summer time it become more beautiful when the trees get their leaves back. It has swimming pool and place for kids to play but unfortunately all were closed due to COVID-19

My regular place to visit during weekday, as it quite, relaxing and small trail allow me to take a stroll in fresh air. Plenty of picnic tables so sometime I do take out and eat there then walk on trails.

Great park for picnics and gatherings. Lots of space for activities, 2 big playgrounds for the kids and an outdoor pool. Also has various hiking trails and paths. Also has a large, clean public bathroom. Came with my family and we had a lot of fun. It gets busy during the afternoon, so if you want to get a good picnic table, then come early. My one complaint would be that the park is all picnic areas. Not really baby interesting places to go, and many of the hiking trails lead to the same, boring, small river. Overall, it was a great day.

Very good picnic spot - go if you are looking for one. Plenty of parking and it's free. A lot of tables and chairs to put your stuff. Washrooms are there on the grounds and they are clean and manned. For the kiddies an icecream truck comes - for the entire day. There was park security available on site actively walking around . There were also police presence the entire day - 2 or 3 cars at the park. A small stream flowing through with plenty of green. The best part was a childrens playing area with slides and a zip line. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves

I always feel secure with family here. There are always security guards walking around. Some times you can find rowdy youth but mostly it’s a nice peaceful park with a lot of space for children, picnics and walking the dog.

Great park, the big park includes a zip line, large grass area to run around. There is access to the river to swim in warm months and a smaller park near the river. We frequent this park regularly.
