In the pictures you can see reception talking to ppl outside then locking the door behind. Urgent care? More like book in advance for your urgent concerns? These guys keep their front door LOCKED and have so many ppl waiting outside and say you must call in and register yourself over the phone for an APPOINTMENT? After you’re registered they said you must call to be let into the clinic and then wait even more. You’re not even told how many ppl are ahead of you and how long the wait is. Did not even get the care and answers I was looking for, Dr spoke probably 20 words to me. Would not recommend at all, rather would advice you to go to a real URGENT CARE CALLED HOWDEN MEDICAL

Arrived 8:48 pm at the front counter. I was approached by an admin staff asking us to call the number on the door for an immediate appointment. The admin staff stated the other lady (was not on any calls at the time) will take the call now and give me an appointment to see the doctor. I immediatèly did as instructed. The other admin answered the call and placed me on hold. I observed her from the window while she did nothing. She waited until 9:01 them return to the phone to tell me that they are not accepting any other patients. I inquire why I was informed that I will get an appointment tonight by the other staff? I also reminded her I was there before 9pm. I asked what time they stop accepting patients? She would not respond. The original staff told me to come inside to register. I truly respect the original medical admin for her kindness. The other staff is unkind clearly not interested in employment.

I wouldn’t even give 1 star. Worst service I have ever seen in a clinic. Secretaries are rude and useless. Doctor was so rude and basically rushed me off the phone after I waited 8hrs for him to call me when I was told he’ll call me in a couple of hours. Don’t get me wrong, I understand people get busy. But this was a different story. I wouldn’t even come back here if I was dying and it was my only option. So disappointed and disgusted. Do not go to this clinic, there is def nothing urgent about it and they’re sooo rude. They’re just there for the pay cheque, not because they care about our well being.

Walk-in Doctor is absolutely fantastic!! The front staff ladies not professional at all. Got there at 9:50, after seeing the sign that I had to call, I did so at 10:00. It took a total of 9 tries to speak to someone, then they put me on hold for 11 minutes. I was promised a call back. I when I said that my kid had an bad ear ache, but he also needed a refill for his puffers (our pediatrician is on vacation) she said, no can do, pick one thing only not 2! I told her that is ridiculous as he was in a lot of pain, but also needs his puffers...her answer: "whatever, talk to the doctor then". After 1hr and 15 minutes I called and asked if they had forgotten about me (I was waiting outside with my 5yr old kid) That's when they said, oh no you're next come inside now (others that came after me with no appointments were seeing before my kid). I understand that they are busy, but they don't need to take their frustration out on patients. PLEASE OFFER THESE LADIES SOME CUSTUMER SERVICE TRAINING!

Arrived there at 2:10 pm. Called, no answer, texted, no response. Called again, no answer. They won't even pick up the phone to say we are at capacity. By far the worst walk in clinic experience of my life. The animal clinic treats animals more respectfully than i was treated. There should be a way to give a zero star review. They earned it.

Was there today and was first in line. At least 7 people came In after me and were sent to a room before me. I was told I had to wait for room 10. I was finally given the room. After about 40 minutes and at least 17 patients being seen before me, I asked the nurse why this was. I was told that I was on a different doctor's list. After an hour and 10 minutes of not being seen, I left and let the staff know that I was extremely disgusted and disappointed. I was there for minor thing and wasn't seen. Could it be because I was the only white person in an all brown staff and patient facility?

Called and the receptionist told to come by 5. Informed that my 4 year old is sick and to please accomodate. Reached at 5:01 and they locked the doors. After numerous tries, their staff comes and says they will not accommodate. This clinic needs EMPATHY. Will definitely not come here. Their low rating on Google says everything. The staff who came and rejected us: God bless you. Have some heart and next time before you reject a child to be seen, remember to pause and think and reevaluate your choice. If you don’t have a heart, please leave healthcare. It is not for you.

If I could give this clinic less than 1 star I would. I called at 5:45pm to book an over the phone appointment. At 9:45pm I still have not received a call back from the doctor. I called the clinic numerous times and was first told I was number 8 in line, then 5, then 5 again. It’s interesting how my place in line didn’t move after 8:50pm. When I asked about their procedures, they couldn’t give a clear answer. This place is a scam! They want to bill OHIP while not seeing patients. They deserve to be reported and under review by the ministry. Moreover, they need to be shutdown. If you speak to Lovepreet, make sure she gives you straight answers because for her shift today, she only had generic lies.

I took my daughter in law on Saturday for a possible fracture on her hand. Her health card was expired and she didn’t know, ok not a big deal. We told them an X-ray was needed and at no point were we told they didn’t do that anymore but had to pay a $95 dollar fee for her to be seen. I paid the $95 after being told that when I came with the new version code Monday that I would be reimbursed then. I called Monday to let them know the code to which I was then told it would be six to eight weeks for reimbursement. Unacceptable, the two receptionists flat out lied to me. Spoke with the supervisor today and she was extremely rude telling me I didn’t understand and I was wrong. I understand completely. She was there less than two minutes and we ended up at the emergency room. Staff is rude and ignorant.

Great service and very attentive. They provided phone consultations and made an in person appointment right away. They provided Urine testing at there center which is convenient than having to go to a lab and the Doctor took his time in assessing my issue. I was very impressed with how clean and organized the facility was and they had COVID Measures in place where the front door is locked and patients can only be allowed in one at a time by calling in and making an appointment.

Horrible Doctor i think his name is Dr Bemo my 2.5 years old son was having extremely high fever for more than 8 days we were giving him tylenol and advil before going to doctor to rule out viral infection but this doctor dont even bother to check my son's ear throat and chest for infection perhaps me and my wife argued that its not normal that much fever of high grade 103 after 8 days of having it continuously he definitely has some thing wrong he answered viral can go on for 4 weeks and even taunted my wife saying is this your first year in canada and it is normal just keep giving him tylenol and advil we came back home not satisfied and waited 2 more days the fever was still coming with the same intensity after every 4 to 5 hours of medicine on day 10 we took him to emergency and found out that his ears were infected and later Xray reports came out confirming pneumonia after reading other reviews its obvious he is not a genuinely qualified doctor please stay away from this clinic as this careless doctor is playing with the lives of the people! I hope concerned authorities will take action after reading these reviews it is the matter of saving lives!

I would have given zero or negative review for such low level front desk service . I went there for a regular monitoring for my father’ inactive TB and needed chest xray as it was clearly mentioned on the paper given by peel health but even after explaining everything to the receptionist on phone she didn’t allow us to come inside . She was continuously saying we don’t do skin test when we don’t even needed that. All we Needed was requisition for chest X-ray . If she would have Proper knowledge and patience to handle the client, she would probably know skin test will mostly come positive for TB patients and thats why the ministry asked for X-ray first to check any active lesion . The worst experience so far. People like them shouldn’t be working in medical field if they don’t have compassion.

Don’t waste your time by going here. Like the reviews have said, literally will not let you in and their hours are different from google (maybe if they would put effort in updating the website then our lives will be much easier but this is Brampton so why would they do that). So first they keep the door locked so you can’t go in bcz of Covid protocols which is stupid cuz this is essentially an urgent care. Anyways the lady tells me to call their number to book an appointment and after staying on hold for an hour guess what I get told, “sorry we’ve stopped taking in patients”. Well maybe if you told me that earlier I would’ve gone somewhere else but no. Wasted my time and kept me in pain. Great! Worst receptionists and no coordination between them. They don’t even know how much the wait time is and don’t tell you. Honestly just go somewhere else.

Horrible Experience!! Unprofessional receptionist she don’t have courtesy for the patients situation. I informed her over the phone ahead of time that I’m coming just because I was late by 30 second after 9 . She decided to close the door and not open despite several request. They need to have empathy towards people.

I visited this UCC on Dec 21, 2022. I was experiencing heavy pressure on my chest and needed a quick consultation. My family dropped me at the center and left to do some grocery shopping. In haste, I forgot my face mask in the car. I was very much aware that a face mask is mandatory inside the facility. Very politely I asked the front desk staff to please have spare one face mask and their answer was in negative and was conveyed very rudely: "We do not provide masks to people". I walked to the nearby dollar store and bought one for myself. Come on, this is a govt facility and staff could not have spared even a mask?

I took my mother to this urgent care clinic and they refused to register her because i didn’t have a mask. I ask for one and I was told I need to buy a mask from them at $1 or go buy mask at the store. I advise the receptionist that I don’t have money to buy a mask having medical attention denied because we don’t have money to buy a mask at a medical facility. This is a shame!! They are like want to earn profit from mask too.

I took my daughter to this urgent care clinic and they refused to register her because we didn’t have a mask. I ask for one and I was told I need to buy a mask from them or go buy mask at the store. I advise the receptionist that I don’t have money to buy a mask I was told they wouldn’t register my daughter who got jumped earlier at school and now got a headache and nauseated. They refused to have me speak with a manager or supervisor. Stating that that’s their policy. I had to go to the back and speak with a doctor. For them to allow my daughter to see the doctor. I am appalled by this. I cannot believe this is how Canadians are being treated in their own country. Having medical attention denied because we don’t have money to buy a mask at a medical facility. This is a shame!!

Staff are very incompetent and rude. Hung up the phone when you ask for the name, as they know they are not speaking professionally. After hearing the answer I don't know and keeping me on hold for 10 minutes the first time and having to call back and getting an answer right away. I have worked in many medical settings and there’s no need tor a patient to have to see the doctor a second time for a note for that visit which you had asked for before leaving the clinic stating you will pick up later in the evening.Which was promised to you by the staff before leaving, stating you will pick up later the same day and said they will have it ready for you. Poorly staffed, this is the second bad experience with this clinic and its always the receptionist. First time they gave other patients a mask and when i asked for one and i was told no its only for there staff. (Mind you this was jus in july of this year). Now this is my second experience will definitely not be back!!!

This clinic is very poorly managed. I took my daughter to be tested for Strep, as I suspected that's what it was, and they had no rapid strep test, so sent us away after taking a lab culture that takes days for results. Two days later I took her to her own physician's office and they did a rapid strep test - she was positive and began antibiotics. We waited for FOUR DAYS before this clinic bothered to call and tell us we had a positive result. At this point my daughter would be waiting 5 days for antibiotics. Strep can become quite serious and she could have infected a lot more people had I waited around for this clinic to provide results. While speaking to them over the phone about why they didn't call sooner or leave me a message when they called earlier in the day, or have rapid strep tests available, I was hung up on by the receptionist, just for making suggestions of how they can improve. VERY POORLY MANAGED CLINIC. MANAGEMENT - STOCK UP ON RAPID TESTS, THEY COME IN HANDY, AND LEAVING VOICEMAILS COULD SAVE PATIENTS A LOT OF PAIN AND SUFFERING. Teach your admin staff some manners. I'm sure if this was their own child or family member, they would want all of the things I have outlined above. Thanks.

Please seek medical attention elsewhere. As a community, we need to stand up for accessible & ethical healthcare. Please lodge complaints and voice your concerns. Their unfair treatment of disadvantaged patients cannot continue. Everyone deserves to be treated with humanity. My family member was turned away and berated to the point where they came straight home despite needing urgent help. They refuse to disclose the doctor's names, when I asked they simply said "this is our policy, if you don't like it go somewhere else". For disturbing reasons I can't even begin to grasp...just imagine, why? You have the right to ask for your physicians name - you have the right to discern if they are registered or have assault allegations lodged against them. DO NOT COME HERE.

Took my 8 year old daughter here. Front staff and the doctors are really friendly. Don't waste your time at the hospital specially if you need a doctor on the weekend. I really recommend this clinic. We were in and out with a prescription in under 20 mins. Again amazing urgent care. Thanks to all staff.

It is very easy to get the services.. when our own family doctors are not taking walk-ins and prefer consultation on phone. The staff is very cooperative too.. They deserve the respect as any other front line worker does... I am grateful to have them close to me...

Literally the worst place to ever exist. I called for my grandpa and was told the doctor will call within an hour. A few hours go by and I call and they say “don’t worry just a few more patients and the doctor will definitely call you”. Now it’s closed and I haven’t spoke to the doctor at all today. This place is a waste of time and the receptionists are useless. The fact that they’re getting paid to do absolutely nothing is beyond me. I’m surprised this place is still running. 0/5.

Rude. Simran Kaur is so rude at reception, I called to complain & ask questions & she hung up the phone on me while I was talking & after I called back telling her she hung up on me she said “the conversation was done”. Also both the doctor & dynacare states it takes 24 hours to get bloodwork results but magically when I call in for my results which I was suppose to get a call (which I didn’t of course) reception is now saying it could be up to 48 hours & refuses to let me see the doctor since he only gave me medication till the day I was suppose to get my results. Clearly reception doesn’t know what they are doing & messing with peoples health. They close at 6 but is saying they aren’t taking anymore patients after 4:30 but the website clearly says it’s only a 45 minute wait which means they are picking & choosing so they can go home early. Lazy & super rude. I try to be nice but screw that.

WARNING!! 🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩Do not come to UCC, the treatment here is substandard and not worth waiting 2 hours. My son came in with a case of strep throat, (told the family doctor that he had chest pains, coughing and sneezing) and they ended up referring me to a cardiologist as well as giving me a requisition for a Chest x-ray. This whole appointment took two minutes, and he only checked my sons heart rate. This place is not worth your time, find a reputable family doctor for walk-ins.

They force you to Pay $1 for a Mask that's NOT required by the doctor or anyone. The illiterate fat receptionist at the right corner is pocketing that Loonie. And when I asked her for a receipt. She said "There's no HST or Receipt for cash payment". This business is currently being reported to the CRA.

  • 1/5 Harpreet S. 9 months ago on Google
Gross Negligence No wonder they have such low rating. They took sample of my son for swab test. Said that they will only call if the report has anything concerning. I called in for 5 days straight, they kept saying it is delayed and after arguments, finally got to know that they lost the sample, never sent it to the lab. My little one has been suffering with high fever with no treatment as the test wasn’t done. Obviously this was frustrating, upon asking for manager to escalate, their response was to fill the feedback form on the website. Super frustrated, I did. Obviously no one has gotten back to me yet. Save yourself - Don’t Go Here. They should be shut down.

  • 1/5 Harpreet B. 9 months ago on Google
UCC deserves NO star. Masks are not mandatory anymore by the law. If it's required, every clinic provides one for free as clinics assist community. Here, they ask to pay $1 for one mask looks like they want to make extra money on daily basis. This has happened to me today. The receptionist will give you useless options but won't help you to provide you a mask. Please beware before visit.

Have regularly visited this clinic for the kids & myself for the last 7-8 years and have always had positive experiences here. Yes u may have to wait yr turn however the diagnosis we have received for our respective health concerns have been correct. The doctors and front line staff have been always very polite and very helpful. Thank u all for your hard work. An onsite lab or imaging would be helpful.
