Used to be great (been going here for 6+ years) but it’s beyond horrible now. Front desk acts like they are doing everyone a favor by being there when you talk to them in person. If you call them, you are put in hold and never answered. I have been on hold for almost an hour and drove to the clinic while on hold only to see the front desk person just relaxing on the chair doing nothing. I told her I have been on hold for more than an hour and she says they must be busy at the time and when I told her I am still on hold, she just doesn’t respond. People like them shouldn’t be employed anywhere if they feel taking to people nicely is beneath them.

Long waiting times…one doctor juggling between so many patients on Sunday. Needed a blood requisition form, had to wait 2.5 hours because the doctor didn’t enter the follow up request. The entire process of having to wait 2.5 hours for just getting the form was not good at all. This pharmacy used to really good in terms of service but over the years, the level of service has dropped significantly. The wait time to speak with the receptionist is 30-45 minutes. Don’t know what needs to be fixed specifically but this is terrible. The wait time in the civic hospital aren’t as bad as of this walk in.

Dr. Ajay Khural was extremely unprofessional. He was on the phone for his personal reasons while having multiple patients waiting for him for more than 20 minutes and then finally when he came to attend, he was rushing everything and not discussing any implications of my issue properly. Left me feeling like I was treated extremely poorly and can’t rely on this clinic for my family or my health. Definitely do not recommend this clinic and especially that doctor.

I don’t even know if this place deserves a star. I took my daughter to this walk in clinic. My daughter had a stomach bug that I needed to be looked at. I waited at this horrendous place for two hours. After I was admitted to a room the doctor told me she couldn’t figure out what was wrong with my daughter and that I needed to head to emergency. Can you believe this? I know covid has been going around for some time now but REALLY? Where did you learn medicine? This place is a disgrace. The girl that checks your temperature and seats you in a room is the worst admin I’ve ever met. She told me to wait in a long line to get my so called referral to head to the hospital after I’ve already waited two hours … YOU GUYS ARE A JOKE…. YOU GUYS NEED TO SERIOUSLY SHUT DOWN FOR GOOD.

Honestly super frustrating when you call to make a phone appointment and they don’t answer the phone. I’ve been on hold for 20 mins and counting. Doctors are quick to move on the the next. My child has asthma and due to that they refuse to see him in office but yet to answer the phones. So annoying and unprofessional. Overall doctors are nice and understanding but front staff just simply doesn’t care. ***update*** Dr. Patel took the matter into his own hands. And called to to bing my child in after seeing his colleagues turn a child away. Due to a cough due to his asthma. Thank you for being so understanding and thoughtful to my child and my concerns. You are a great roll model to what a great doctor should be! Please keep up the great work! Sincerely one please mama

Worst! This place doesn’t deserve any star. Will never recommend this clinic. I had worst experience. I needed medical for my job and they wasted almost one month. My all other friend got their medical done in just 10 days. First, they collected insufficient blood so my blood work cancelled and again I had to go through it. They siad it’s not our mistake this is the mistake of laboratory. It is not just that, there is much more. Like I went the clinic they said me many time come this day , come that day so on……. Super frustrating.

EDIT: raising rating from 1 —> 3. They have changed receptionists since my original review. The current receptionists are helpful, kind, and receptive. The doctors are efficient, compassionate, and smart. Pretty sure the phones still don’t work though which is a pretty big deal for a walk-in clinic. Rating would be 5 if the phones worked. ORIGINAL: The reception is the worst I’ve ever experienced. Firstly, they don’t answer the phone. I called as I drove over and was on hold the entire time. I came into the clinic still on hold but no phones were ringing and no receptionist was aware. Once told, they defended their position that they didn’t get a call and that the google reviews are lying. This receptionist then turned me away because my health card was expired despite having a critical injury in my hip that was prohibiting me from walking. I struggled to Service Ontario and back to get an appointment. As I was waiting the same receptionist let another person with an expired health card and very light cough “get away with it”. Incredibly disrespectful, uncaring, and lacking compassion. The doctor was fantastic though…

Waiting times are very long Unless you're Indian.... one of the doctors was very rude to me cause I knew what was wrong with me and he didn't. Told him I had an infection and the name of the antibiotics I needed. Peed in a cup and was told nothing was wrong and to go to the hospital... did that and they said I had an infection and then prescribed me what I was asking for from the clinic... NEVER AGAIN WILL YOU SEE ME OR MY KIDS BACK The pharmacy is a completely different story, very nice and helpful, even asked me more questions then the "Doctor"!!!!

WORST! Shame on them for still not seeing patients and only doing phone call appointments. I have been coming to this clinic for 10 years, and yes I've had some long wait times but was always able to see a doctor. In the past 3 months I have been turned away twice when I've taken my 10 year old son to see a doctor. Tonight I was told a doc will not look at his throat, when I can clearly tell and see there is an infection. They told me they are only talking phone call appt. How is a doc going to diagnose my son over the phone? We are not sitting at a hospital, and have been here for 3 hours.

Go here if you want pathetic and totally unprofessional service. I’ve had sub-par service several times but today just topped it off! I brought my 1.5 year old at 930 this morning who’s been struggling with cough and runny nose for almost 10 days and was fearful that she has strep or some other infection that may worsen. Tested her twice in last 3 days for COVID to make sure she was negative but was immediately returned and told that doctor won’t see her in-person due to COVID policy(although almost all restrictions in Ontario have been lifted). Anyhow I wasn’t going to debate on public health policy and didn’t argue with the receptionist. I was told I will get a phone consultation. Upon questioning how the doctor would check her ear and mouth that she’s been pointing to, I was told that the doctor will authorize an in-clinic consultation after phone consultation. After waiting over 4 hours we started calling the clinic but got no response. Finally around 430pm we got a call from the doctor who seemed incompetent and was in a rush. She just said to go to a “cold and flu clinic” - first time I heard of such a thing! Anyhow, asked her for where such a clinic is around us and she asked to just google it! We pushed back that why wouldn’t such a recommendation be made in the morning? There was no response. Anyhow we requested for an in-person appointment and the doctor then lied and said it’s ok go back to cornerstone clinic and she’ll tell them that she approved an in-person consultation on the phone. My spouse called the clinic a few minutes after hanging up with the doctor and they refused and said there is no such policy!! This is after what she told me at 930 in the morning and the doctor promising it on the phone! The receptionist refused and told us to bring the child to emergency and wait there. This is after we waited the whole day here already. When asked why did they not inform us of such a policy in the morning she lied to my spouse and said that they had mentioned this in the morning too. Blatant lies! We expressed concern on bringing the child to emergency and exposing her to a high-risk environment where there could be other more sick people and if it really made sense to bring her there based on her condition when the doctor didn’t recommend that. There was absolutely no concern about the child, the fact that the child is so young and parents are concerned, as any parent would be. We did another rapid test as the doctor and the clinic receptionist put so much doubt in our mind and test is negative again! Absolutely disgusted at our experience here. If there is anyone who can recommend what we can do under the public medical system and ethics code, please advise. Will do whatever I can to avoid someone else going through such an awful experience.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!. CHEAP CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! Receptionist doesn’t have any manners how to speak to a client who is already in a distress of disease. She just said ‘don’t you have common sense’. Very unprofessional way of talking she was giving side eyes on every word of mine. I just wanted to get doctor’s notes and I did the same thing I always did in other clinics . Instead of talking politely, she was ignoring me badly. The pharmacist was nice. The receptionist also doesn’t wear any name tag so that nobody can know her name but this is unprofessional to address a customer without knowing your name. They are saying that they are different from others. Most cheap ways to address a customer and make money.

Doctor Amar Patel is the most caring, considerate, knowledgeable, friendly, intelligent and an approachable doctor. He is an exceptional human being. I trust him more then any hospital. He is welcoming and is a compassionate kind soul who really cares for his patients. He clearly love what he does! I wish all doctors were like him, well spoken and very down to earth. To be honest my best medical experience ever in all years. Staff is supper friendly and helpful. Highly recommend !!!

They provide ridiculous service. They don’t understand the meaning of the word “Urgent”. I went in person in the afternoon for a prescription refill in emergency as my family doctor was not available. They told me that the doctor only does refills over the phone and told me I’ll get a call for it around 5. I followed around 4 times on the call and never received a call till 8. I don’t expect a call anymore. It’s so frustrating because I need my medicines before dinner and I had mentioned them about it but it did not matter. Will never go again and advise everyone to find some other clinic for a better service.

I just recently started attending this clinic. So far, service is great. Each time I contact the clinic, my calls have been thoroughly and appropriately answered. The receptionist are nice, I havent had any problems with them. The doctor Patel is really amazing. He's really knowledgeable, non-judgmental, makes you feel comfortable and a great doctor to have attending to your medical needs. Another great thing about this clinic. They are opened throughout Monday to Sunday and during the week up till 9pm. Its very difficult to find clinics that are opened this late so this is such an amazing component of this clinic. Last but not least, this clinic does not charge to complete paperwork for health screening/vaccinations for school purposes. Its currently free of charge at the moment. I am very impressed by the services that I have already and immediately received at this clinic. Thank you so much Cornerstone Medical.

If I had a choice I would give them zero stars, as this clinic is a fraud and they’re just charging OHIP. They need to be investigated and closed immediately. Reception: The ladies at reception are rude, and have no empathy and don’t bother to even pick up phone calls or show compassion and care to sick patients. They sent my prescription to their pharmacy without even asking for permission. I personally didn’t want to have my prescription filled there. Doctors: The doctor rushes to see you, doesn’t listen to the symptoms and subscribes medication that is unnecessarily not needed. I was given antibiotics, however, when I went to my family doctor, they told me I did not need antibiotics because I had a cold and not an infection to the chest. The clinic is a fraud, and I would not recommend anyone to visit this clinic.

Dr. Ajay khural worst doctor ever. Don’t even want to call him a doctor. We went there to get prescription for my grandma. She’s old with high BP. Was in middle for the check-up and when she mentioned she need prescription for 2 more months, left us saying “you didn’t mention that in starting i am not free here to listen to you now you wait for hour and see” then he went to see other patients. Created such a scene there. That’s how you treat a senior being a doctor. Worst human he is. Every time we go he’s always rude and don’t have manners to talk. Never go to him.

I have dealt with two different doctors in my past recent visits with — Dr Patel and Dr Masud. Both are good at what they do. Thank you for all the support… it’s clear that you really care about your patients, I can’t thank you enough for the special, excellent care you have provided.

I would give this clinic zero stars if it weren't for their pharmacy. The professionals who work there are far better. However, this clinic should be shut down. It's unfortunate that I have given this place countless times over the years to simply do better and they have only gotten worse. I have decided to go ahead with my lawsuit. I, and my family, have experienced everything from being hung up on when asking questions about when we can see a doctor, late diagnoses due to not being able to see a doctor and access our own lab results so we can go elsewhere, misdiagnoses because doctors spend all of 5 minutes seeing you and then ushering you out to see the next patient, they simply do not listen. EXTREMELY rude front desk women, etc etc. As a medical professional, it is unfortunate that this is the standard of health care we have now. With their lack of proper care of patients, this place doesn't have long left before it is closed for business.

Both Dr. Stevanovski and Dr. Patel have helped me over the years. Both have removed glass from my foot. I have always had a great experience going to see both. They are kind, patient, knowledgeable, professional and hard-working. When I was anxious about getting the glass removed, they put me at ease. I highly recommend them.

I went into this clinic for treatment and was met with rude behaviour from the front desk staff. They interrupted, belittled, mocked and claimed to then be abused at the end of it. Btw I am a medical doctor myself. Then I heard of a friend of mine who used yo be seen here who was treated this way and today went in for a medical issues and was DISCHARGED FROM HER DOCTORS CARE BECAUSE SHE LEFT A BAD REVIEW. This goes against all medical ethics. I went to school just like these doctors myself. I hold a degree that proves that. And I am completely in agreement with the idea of REPORTING these kind of self serving doctors from our community. If as a doctor u have forgotten that it is PATIENT CENTERED CARE and now use that only as a euphemism in ur practice, u SHOULD be scared because professionally we WILL be coming after u. My area of work is medicolegal and medical malpractice. So we absolutely DO drag doctors like this to court and strip them of their licenses. If any doctor reads this and gets upset, you can take it up with the Royal College and the Board of independent Medical Examiners.

Because people don’t have much choice, they visit this clinic. Else this place would have been shut since long if there were more doctors and clinics. The staff is trained NOT to take calls. You keep calling and they don’t take your calls. Wait times are lonnnggg ever after taking an appointment. Their service desk doesn’t even know properly about the test report results coming in or not. No courtesy or empathy towards the patients. I only visit because of Dr. Peter, else I wouldn’t even rate this place anywhere.

Initially about 8 months ago I posted a 1 star review regarding the front office staff, and what was visually witnessed happening at this clinic. I got in touch with the Clinic Manager regarding these very serious issues that needed changes in a timely and professional manner. Today, 8 months later I made the 2 hour drive from London to Brampton to see the 1 doctor that was worth that 2 hour drive (Dr.Stevanovski) - as he's now back to the clinic. After 3 years of not seeing him, we were very happy to see him today for my medical issue that I came for. Unfortunately, Dr.Stevanovski could not see me for my appointment, and I was transferred to Dr. Hossein Jalayer. He understood the situation why the other doctor could not take me, and empathetically told me I could feel comfortable to come see him. He promptly identified my illness and discomfort I was experiencing. This doctor needs a raise! Dr.Jalayer put the importance on my medical well-being and proper medical care as prime importance vs a previous ill google review. My patient care came first and foremost. Doctors like this are worth the 2 hour drive ! This place has made a 180 degree change. The clinic has made all changes that were brought forward to the attention of the Clinic Manager, and it is significantly more professional! From a 1 star , thinking we could never come back , to 5 stars worth the 2 hour commute. We have been coming here for 12 years. It was worth it to me to make my voice heard, and to see the changes made, which helps ALL patients, as we are together as a community when battling illness and injury. Good job 👏

I went today with a requisition for medication for my son. I explained the urgency, and the lady working at the pharmacy told me they would call me at 5:30pm when it's ready. I asked them to do it sooner, and they said no. They called at 5:53, I missed their call. When I called back at 6:10 I found out they closed at 6pm. I went to the store and the clerk opened the door and they fulfilled my order. Thank you!

The lady who does blood work is so rude and started yelling at me for sanitizing the chair I was about to sit down. She has the sanitizer bottle right next to her and claiming she’s allergic. You mean to say she doesn’t sanitize her hands the whole day? Ewwwwww never go do blood work there. 😡

Is there a regulating body to monitor clinics that treat patients like dirt. This clinic should be flagged for some regulatory body. The receptionist are extremely rude and unprofessional. Sends white people in when they shout about the wait times. When asked who the office manager is I was told they don’t know the name. Was also told that they are working under stress. if so why should the patients have to suffer because of their inability to run an efficient clinic. They treat Indian people very badly here. Lie through their teeth. Management needs to educate their staff on customer service which is priority in the medical field.

Believed the rectionist entered my name on the list. But came to know she didn't after 1.20 min. Even asked to go to the room 4 Dr didn't see me and I see the Dr went passing me 2 rounds. 3 hrs completed. Still waiting. Management should look in to the inconvenience caused by the staff. I know this place is not a joke.i respect every professional here.

I went there because my wife had a very high fever in postpartum period and they said doctor cannot see you as you guys walked in. And it clearly says they accept walk-ins. I humbly request whoever manage this pharmacy’s google reviews please remove walk-in from your website & decals at locations because people read “WALK IN”and comes to you and you guys turn them away even they are in emergency.
