Normally the baristas are friendly and the coffee is good; however, today I got stopped because I wandered in without shoes. The staff member cited a “public health policy” which doesn’t exist. Not sure how being barefoot is different from wearing sandals from a public health standpoint. I have no issues if your establishment has a dress code, but don’t mask your power hungry classist ideals in fake public health policies. If you’d like me to wear shoes to look pretty for the other customers just ask. Show me the relevant section in the Ontario health code and I’ll change the rating.

I went to the Second cup at the quarry location in Brampton around 9:00 pm on October 21st. When I arrived, the door was locked and one of the representatives advised that the store was closed. When I went on Google and the store hours on the doors states that closing time is 10:00 pm. I am not sure who is telling the truth but if in fact the store closes at 9:00 pm then change the hours on your website and doors.

Just my morning coffee hunting routine. Happen to be nearby. First time in this place. Not busy at that time. Got a Maple latte and croissant. Ask the barista if I can have the coffee not too sweet since it’s a maple latte and she perfectly made it to my liking.

It was one of the worst branches of second cup. The staff didn’t even bother to heat up our food, the sitting was not clean as well. Normally, I am a big fan of second cup ambience but this branch is not worth the second cup brand name.

I just love the smell of their coffee. There is something special about their coffee flavours. Simply wow. And don’t forget to try their carrot cake with your coffee.

A quick stop at Second Cup for coffee and left with a smoothie instead. I loved the Green Boost smoothie w/ whey protein, spinach, kale, mango and banana. A reasonable portion size and price at $5.95. It's a great pre or post workout drink! Overall, quiet and cozy coffee shop within a busy plaza. In future, I would like to see more smoothie flavours on their menu. Three options to choose from is not enough.

When I needed to use the washroom yesterday at 7:30 PM, I think it was I was told by a gentleman that I had to buy something first before using the bathroom which I have use the bathroom before I bought something before me having to buy something before I use the bathroom or not buying anything at all. Should not be required at all to use the bathroom so I will not be going to this location I’m not sure if other second cop places have this requirement. I have bought stuff and far in the past at this location but I won’t anymore having to buy something at any coffee shop or restaurant to use a bathroom is not good service in my opinion if it’s a policy they have to go to change it or else I will not shop or buy anything at 2nd cup anymore. I’m not gonna just spend my money just so I can use the bathroom.

Terrible customer service, high prices and low quality drinks. The floors look like they haven’t been changed in 20 years. Starbucks is a much better option for the money and quality.

Such a gem! The place was great, good atmosphere. Blonde male barista was really kind made our drinks. Will return very nice and clean and quiet atmosphere nice to get a coffee and chat

One of the worst delivery experiences ever, I ordered a vanilla bean hot chocolate with whip cream which they charge an arm and leg for. I end up getting half cold drink and the costumer service on their end is terrible.

Horrible experience. I came from starbucks with a couple of drinks on a tray and haven’t touched them. Out of no where, I was told we can’t have it here, and to either throw it out or get out. The drink on the tray was for my mom so I was not throwing it away. I then ordered which what I intended to do (and sit) and was not told that my order was ready. This is a horrible experience, especially when other people had other drinks. I’ve been here a few times before and this was the first time I had this experience. I’m truly shocked. At this point I’m leaning toward racism, because it was only when I pointed other peoples outside drinks that they said anything. I will be pushing this much further because racism is absolutely not acceptable and not in 2022. The Indian girl working today Dec 12th @ 4:00pm is beyond disrespectful and has poor customer service. Please refrain from hiring racist, unhappy, people that don’t know how to talk to customers. It gives a horrible name this franchise.

A good amount of seats and outlets. Though it's like they dont want you to stick around to do work/study because it feels like theres no heating and they play really loud annoying 2010 pop music. At least the washrooms are clean. Would not come again

Fantastic experience overall. Wonderfully friendly and attentive staff even when it was super busy. Fantastic drinks and baked goods. I will be back.

I walked in early morning to get myself a drink and happened to drop it immediately after walking out the door on the road. Feeling defeated I turned around to make eye contact with my barista who motioned me to come back inside. After a second* warm greeting I was offered a free drink even though I insisted to pay. I felt grateful, which was amplified when a kind stranger offered their points to cover my second cup*. Thank you to the staff and people here for making my Thursday a good one :)

Vegan options and offered when noticed i wanted no dairy in my order...Nick was a very patient and professional ! A great spirit paying off student loans.. no doubt he will bring joy to where ever he goes xo

I love second cup and their drinks. This particular location though I feel differently about. The drinks are good, but the servers are not so polite. It’s rare that I come across a server who has a smile on their face here. Also I have noticed that the staff treats you differently if you sit in here for a while to study or work. Hopefully the service improves.

This second cup has been without music for over 8 mths. No ambiance or mood to set when walking in management needs to take more pride in their stores.

They seriously know how to treat customers. Were told to leave simply because we bought something from Starbucks as well. Been to Starbucks many times w other purchases and they never made a big deal out of it. Starbucks is way better in my opinion now because that is very unprofessional and immature. If its competition, maybe treat your customers nicely so they at least come back. This was my second and last time there.

Food and drink are great here as are the comfy seats - but look at how the customers have to lock up their vehicles 😳

Always relaxing visit, employees are polite and humble, Always get my coffee right with right temperature. Store is clean amd good music always.

This has got to be the worst second cup i have ever dealt with. Order here a few times using Ubereats and they have ALWAYS messed up my order. I am always missing an item. If you dont have something in stock then dont list it in your uber app. Or at least inform the customer that they have to make changes to their order if something is not available. Extremely frustrated especially because the drinks and food from here aren’t cheap.

I have regularly been visiting this place for the last three years. Just like previous experiences, the lattes were nice and so were the baked goods. HOWEVER, the reason for the one-star review is as follows: I had dropped in with family and placed a large order for a group of four. My two-year old was with me too; I wanted him to have something to drink along with the rest of us so I asked if I could have a glass of milk. I was abruptly told that "we don't do that". I politely said that I will pay for it but was again turned down in an offhand manner; the lady said there is no option to charge for milk in the system. After a while, while they were preparing my order, I suggested if they could charge me for a small coffee and just give me milk instead. I was told that this is a corporate store and giving milk is against policy. Both Timmies and Starbucks will give you milk so this was very surprising. However, what bothered me was the lack of understanding and care shown by their staff coupled with the inexplicable cold shoulder attitude. I could hear them snickering and talking about our group while we were seated which was very distasteful. What we hoped would be a relaxing coffee shop visit turned out to be a most uncomfortable experience. I don't plan to visit this café again. The least you could do is treat your customers with respect and dignity.
