The most terrible attitude. Only cash and can accept euros with exchange rate 1/20. The waiter comes with a bill including 20% of tips!!! They add a double bread basket to every breakfast (90 kc). A glass of fresh orange juice costs 165 kc!!!! So ordered two breakfasts and having a coffee with orange juice - you will get a bill for 67€… No comments. Though the food was more or less ok.

Several names of this restaurant can be found on the maps. "Fresh Food Café", "Cafe Restaurant Corner", "Klimatizovano", "Švejk restaurant Corner". It's all the same restaurant. Same owner and staff. Every 2 years the owner changes the name of the restaurant as the rating falls below 2 stars. The owner is trying to buy FAKE positive reviews to create the illusion that there is at least someone who has not been cheated in his restaurant. But that doesn't help much. True reviews still do their job, the rating drops and then they change the name. If you come to this restaurant, you will be badly fed, terribly served and well cheated.

It looked okay as I was walking past. I thought I would try it for breakfast in case I had visitors ( I live in Prague). Luckily I did. Breakfast for one (espresso, orange juice, English breakfast) cost 708 Kč (about 30€). Exorbitant. The price of 708 Kč included Couvert (table) charge of 45 Kč plus optional 10% tip of about 65 Kč. Food was nothing special. I am so glad I didn't go there with visitors.

Unscrupulous scammers with bland food. Regarding the food, not only was the food quite bland with overcooked burgers and cold fries, the orders were constantly mixed up during a calm weekday afternoon. The scamming became apparent when the bill came to pay. Foods where the order was wrong were billed on the original - more expensive - item, a hidden couvert (service) charge was billed even for a 2 year old and an additional 15% tip is insisted upon quite forcefully by the staff. Not only is it illegal to include both tip and couvert charge on the same bill, it is immoral. You are asking people to pay double for the same service. When confronted, they openly said most people don’t come back, but as locals we could skip the tip. Pure scam and a shame they are willing to hurt the reputation of Prague hospitality so blatantly.

Teribble place avoid at any cost all those 5 stars fake reviews are the reflection of how bad this Restaurant is. Scamming tourists and even Locals. in every way possible. such as Adding tips stating it is mandatory and charging you for cutlery?? or 2nd version of that old rock hard bread they serve you and charge nearly 2 euros A PERSON food is very average and not worth the money at all. staff is rude and unexpirienced

Terrible cafe food, Overpriced, Surcharge for everything! And I mean everything..........!! This Cafe, inviting as it may have seemed on a snowy morning in Prague at -2C, was a huge mistake. I'd not looked at any previous reviews.... mistake number 2. When you purchase food you will be brought, bread, mayonnaise, dipping sauce, condiment box (ketchup etc), napkins, knives and forks.......but BEWARE, BE VERY AWARE .... for everything that is brought to the table including butter for the bread, vinegar, mayo, ketchup, etc. you will be charged 50CK (currently about £2/2 euros) EACH ITEM. If there's four of you, times this by x4!!! Honestly, 2 mayo, 2 ketchup, salt, vinegar, bread and butter, came to a surcharge of £18.00 (450CK) - the food for 2 was only £20! Final bill, £38.00 - and then they want 12.5% service charge at £4.75 (120CK) - 12.5% OF THE TAX ASWELL!! - Really!!! Total charge for 2 Eggs and 2 Sausage and 2 coffees = £42.75 Ha!!.......And Then he asks if we want to leave a 10% Tip!!!!!!!!!!! 'Go and do a runner' - Ripped off once - Never again! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE OR DIG DEEP INTO THOSE TOURIST POCKETS!!

SCAMMERS!!! Not only we ate the worst food while in Prague, the service, the atmosphere and in general everything were terrible. First, they served the big glass of beer (1L) without asking just to charge more. When we asked for the bill they just came with card machine without giving us the breakdown. When we asked for it they tried to avoid it by giving us the payment receipt (from visa). They only gave it to us when we asked for it again. We noticed that they charged things we never orded, couvert (!!!) and also more than 20% tip!!! We asked for the manager and he refused to come. After we insisted he said that he will come in a few minutes and then said he was not feeling well and we discussed it with the waiter. She had the worst attitude i ever experienced trying to convience us that everything was normal. If you are reading this, do not eat here!!!!

If i could i would have given zero stars, it was one of my worst restaurant experiences ever! The tables outside were dirty, After we asked the Service Person to clean the tables they were still dirty…the Service in General was Not Good as the staff seemed overburdened even though there werent many visitors (now we know why). There werent Lots of vegeterian options. The Food wasnt good, too oily and too expensive. We didnt feel very Good after :( the worst thing was that they Charged each person for the basket of dry bread which we Hadnt ordered, the staff didnt Tell us it would cost extra money when she brought it to the table. She insisted that she had told us about the bread which she definitely hadnt done! The tip was charged automatically even though we didnt Want to give any because the experience was just Not Good. Can’t recommend, you will Never See us again!
