I absolutely love La Paisanita… it’s a difficult place to find, the restaurant is hidden inside a building. You can either sit there and eat or take away hot or frozen empanadas… or order delivery. The owners are incredibly kind and friendly. There’s also a nice outdoor terrace area. They have empanadas with meat, vegetarian ones, as well as vegan. They are served with delicious sauces. I highly recommend this place!!!

Yes, it is in the basement inside a government building; don't let that stop you. Once you find it, you won't regret it. The empanadas taste amazing, and they have quite a variety. Natalie was in charge that day and she found time to explain and recommend different types of empanadas (considering she also takes care of delivery and pick up orders). You can dine in, they have enough tables. I will definitely be back.

I arrived by lucky, because the place it's little bit difficult to find (it's inside of the "Urad" - Goverment office). I was surprised as everyone there was actually from Argentina (I expect that they will be Czech people, but no!) and that was a big surprise. They was really kind, they even explain me how to eat an empanada correctly ! The empanadas was greag, I taste 3 of them, and they was great. Also I saw later that they have vegan, yes, they have 100% vegan empanadas there, then I order one more, and was really tasty !!. Also they have vegetarians. Then, I complete recommend this place, also they are inside of the museum of Zizkov, and that was very nice to see. When I was there was winter, but they also have a nice garden. 100% recommended !!

Delicious empanadas! You have many options: vegetarian and with different kinds of meat. I’m giving 5 starts for the service, they were very very friendly and nice with us. The only problem is that there were only 2 people and the place was quite full, so it took a long while until they took our order. But they apologized and it was very smooth and nice. The place was hard to find from the outside!! We searched around for a while until we realized that we had to enter the administrative building and go downstairs to the basement. It felt like the style of the place is not matching the amazing good. But the good was very delicious, so overall - worth it :)

Such a lovely hidden diamond. The place is not easy to find but the rewards are so well worth it. The kind and friendly service coupled with amazingly delicious Empanadas leaves one thinking when you will be coming back already. The option of frozen Empanadas to take home and prepare for family and/or friends is so easy and no hassle at all.

Amazing food! We’ve been buying frozen empanadas from these guys almost from the very beginning and can’t say a bad word about any of them! We’ve tried many different kinds of their empanadas and all were absolutely delicious! 😋 Yummy-yummy!!! 🤤 Great combination of spices, veggies and meat that melts in your mouth. Have to add that the owners are terrific people! 🥰

Finally something new in Prague, I fell in love with Argentinian flavours and sweet service immediately. In addition to meat ones, they have vegetarian and vegan empenadas! And I definitely recommend trying the chipá as an appetizer, it's kind of like cheese pastry bites with chimichuri sauce. This hidden gem is tucked away in the Prague III city office building, it helped to watch the video on how to get to the restaurant here at the videos attached to the restaurant, But totally worth it!

Best empanadas & alfajores in Czech Republic! You can buy empanadas frozen and enjoy them at home or have them there with a beer! So easy to reheat in the oven as well! Staff is incredibly friendly and food is delicious! You must try! 10/10 🤩

But beyond that - we got such a hearty welcome from the owner, who was passionately telling us all about how uniquely awesome each one of the 14 different types of empanadas that they make is. Very tasty and authentic Argentinian food hidden on the basement floor of a municipality building of Žižkov (Praha 3). Not easy to find, but a pure gem in terms of food. Highly recommend to come and try their famous empanadas

This place is a real gem! What an awesome place! The empanadas are delicious, as well as the fresh lemonades. The presentation of the food with the salad - five out of five stars. The stuff (especially the service team) is gorgeous too! The hospitality is next level. Try it out when in Prague, no matter if you are a tourist or a local.

I don't do reviews, but this is must got a visit when you in Prague. Really friendly lovely lady worker, she made everything with love. We tried many orders and each one has its special taste that can not be compared with the others. Tastes like home..

Criolla empanada was amazing! Very juicy inside, so be careful not to make your clothes messy. Owner of the place has a lot of amazing stories to tell (and is very talkative ;) )

The food is really good you have meat, vegetarian and vegan options. The personal is really nice and friendly. Just the location is a little bit hidden you have to go thru a big door than follow the signs into the celler, but its totally worth it would recommend to everyone.

BEST EMPANADAS I HAVE EVER HAD! Much better than in Argentina!

We really liked this restaurant, they specialise in making empanadas, which really shows. They were delicious, we had Arrabalera (very famous one), Queso and Chipá followed with a dessert alfajor. All the tastes were very balanced. There were vegan and vegetarian options as well. We’ll definitely come again.
