Stumbled upon it during our walk to the castle, and it was something I didn't know I needed! Cats laying around everywhere. They were very chill, and cute of course. The place has a bunch of cat beds around, even some on the wall! The drink itself was nice, definitely liked the mojito lemonade. They have a big menu and they have introduced all of the cats at the end of it! Low prices, sweet staff, can't recommend enough if you are a cat lover.

It is a very nice cafe close to the city center and the Bratislava Castle. The staff is extremely friendly and the cats are adorable. The coffee was very nice, but the milk shakes were amazing! And very reasonably priced. You can stay as long as you want to enjoy the cats and the atmosphere. They have a small selection of exclusive cat souvenirs (coffee mugs, postcards, magnets, etc.), which you can purchase in the cafe. The only downside is that you can pay only cash.

It was lovely place. My wife found this place and we went there without thinking since we’re a cat lover. Cats are adorable, drinks were great as well. Cool vibes and cozy atmosphere. One of the staff was super friendly and she can speak Indonesian! She used to live in Indonesia and we hope to see her again. Definitely will come back! One of the best thing I did when I was in Bratislava! Cheers!

Friendly staff. Sweet, gentle, and friendly kitties. Free wifi. Password is macacialabka2022. Clean and nice space to relax and enjoy your time. They are a nonprofit and they sell souvenirs like postcards, too. I only had water but the cakes looked delicious. I saw at least 6 cats wandering around freely. No entry fee or minimum purchase.

Relaxing atmosphere and very welcoming. We enjoyed a drink whilst admiring the cats sleeping and roaming around. The cats are very content and let you stroke them, even whilst they sleep.

Upon finding out that this cat cafe exists in Bratislava, I was even more motivated to make a day trip to the city. What a gem! The cafe is so cozy and makes you feel relaxed and happy. The food is yummy (especially the lemonades and the cakes) and the hot chocolate was really cute, as well as delicious. The cats are really active in the evening and were super playful and friendly. The organization of the cafe has helped and treated all the cats that live there now, and they are so well socialized. The staff is also very friendly and the music played was good. I hope to come back one day, as it is one of the best cat cafes I’ve been to in Europe so far.

Great place for a quick beer or coffee with a feline atmosphere. Very chilled laid back and ideal for the children/kids but great for adults too. Very well priced for its location would highly recommend.

best cafe i have visited in bratislava. a must for cat lovers. very tranquil, friendly, and super cozy. the drinks were also lovely and not expensive. the only con is that even though i blinked slowly to every cat there for hours not a single one of them came to my lap. you should invent new techniques to get the cats' interest without violating the cafe's rules

This is truly an amazing place; if you are a cat lover you should really visit it! There is a good number of cats, which are truly adorable!! There aren't lots of places to sit and it's quite a famous place, so you should wait if you go to specific hours where there are more people than usual. Pastries and Café are really good, even if prices are slightly higher than other cafés, but it's totally worth it!

One of my checklist places in Bratislava. If you love cats and good coffee you simply have to go! The location is perfect, just a few minutes from the castle. The owner was very nice. The ambient is very cosy.

Such a cute coffee club! It's all about cats. There are a few laying around if you'd like to pet them Cosy, calm, relaxed and very peaceful. Great service and one of a kind experience. Definitely need more of this.❤️❤️❤️

If you are a cat lover then visit to Mačkafé is must. Great coffee and cakes, the staff is very polite and attentive. And off course many kitos to welcome you :)

Literally I love it there, it's a perfect place for a date, or when u wanna meet a friend. Love the atmosphere and the waiters are very friendly. This will be my new favorite place to go to when I'm down. And the cats are adorable, and it's also not that expensive.

Very good cafe, cats are very well looked after, no hard sell. Hostess was very helpful and kind. Cats are free to walk around and have escape areas if they want no fuss. It's very quiet and peaceful. Good coffee and people say working on laptops whilst cats roam and play. Great place!

It is a nice place to take a break from the city noise. You are in good company here. The items are affordable, the coffee is hot, the cakes are sweet and the cats are cute and affectionate, especially Izzy.

Nice and quite place for coffee. Very polite service and cute variety of cat related merchandise. Cat are very quiet, they do not interact almost at all with humans, but this is very logical. Just imagine yourself at their shoes 😜

Before anything, please note you can only pay by cash:) So pretty place and kind staff. The cats were really cute but a bit shy, which is totally understandable, but dont except to be surrounded by cats. They often rest in their little beds/nests around the coffee shop so I recommend coming in when its not too busy so that you can sit in a good spot near them. When busy you might not get close to the cats though. We ordered a virgin mochito and it was pretty good as well. The cheescakes are quite good too. Overall a good experience, calm and relaxing

All cats are very well groomed. Just popped by this cat cafe as it is just nearby my hotel. Staff was friendly and nice. This is a cash only cafe.

A very nice place with lovely and fluffy cats. The staff is very friendly and kind. The souvenirs are also lovely, especially the ones with the drawing with the cats in front of the castle. Till now this is the nicest catcaffe I visited compared to Wien, Prague and Bucharest ones.

Wonderful little cat cafe close to Bratislava castle. All rescue kitties from the streets, all super sweet. Coffee and other drinks were really delicious and service was great. It was a great place to spend some time- note cash only as of July 2023

Super cute Cat Cafe with many furry inhabitants 🐈 the service lady was very friendly and the atmosphere relaxed. The kitties are too cute and you can pet them, they seem very relaxed and approachable. Unfortunately the Matcha wasn‘t very tasty.

Its a cafe with cats :-) I think I counted 7 cats (or maybe 6), some sleeping, some walking about, some waiting to be fed, one (in the photo) being naughty trying to lick plates clean. They all seem pretty happy & friendly. Also good milkshakes.

It is not just a cafe, but something to save and shelter the street cats. I am so happy that there is someone doing it but sorry to know that he is trying his best to keep this project even when they can’t get enough financial support. However, the owner still told me that it is okay just to visit this lovely place and take a seat. Will definitely support it and come back again. Cats are lovely

It's my second time here and it is just like i remembered. The cats are cute, has enough space for 5 different groups with one spot that can fit 10 people. The beverages are good and aren't expensive at all. The service was one person so it was kind of slow but we might have come at a bad time. We didn't eat there but from what i saw it is mostly deserts. I really recommend this place for people who love cats and want a break from the actual city centre.

Read about this place and decided to give it a try. Good, cozy ambience with cats freely moving around (like they do). Good coffee to enjoy the atmosphere, the vegan cake was ok, cheesecake was good. There are rules on behaviour towards the cats. Be sure to follow them. It's common sense actually. Don't bother the cats unnecessarily. The owners were friendly. They accept only cash, though. Unique fun place to go if you have the time in Bratislava. PS: I'd like to mention that all the food you order comes with a glass bowl to cover. The cats do get on to the table and the bowls are handy to cover the food. Good thinking to provide them.

Really cute idea for cat-lovers! We came for a daytrip from Vienna just to visit the Mackafé! Did not disappoint :)) The ladies working there are very friendly and you are basically surrounded by cats haha.

A nice kind place! Cats are total cuties, the cake, coffee's, lemonade was tasty, the waiters are extra kind and helpful. Definitely would go back, we loved the spent time here.

We had the loveliest afternoon at Mačkafé, a calm and love filled haven for cat and coffee lovers en route to the castle. Both human and feline staff were delightful, warm and welcoming, with all the right members of the team asking for a tummy tickle whilst others - equally friendly but more discrete - brought us excellent coffee and tea. Very clean, well priced, great quality and the cats are unbelievable patient and sweet natured with all the attention. A really heart warming landmark in the city, both the owner Marcel and his kitties are a pleasure to meet.

Kittens were asleep when we went, but that was not a problem - the cafe has a cosy atmosphere and nice staff. Tasty drinks and cakes. Would visit again just to chill :)
