Went over by 12 minutes due to dealing with a police involved incident. No fault of mine as was assisting a Train Operator Company. Explained my circumstances to the company. Was told to pay for the next day parking in full. No compassion at all. 10 past midnight. Terrible

Many shops to buy stuff in. Lots of helpful staff. Great people working there. A very nice member of staff asked me a few questions about what I do (trainspot) and were very surprised and impressed. There are trains to many destinations around the country.

SHORT!!! An oval track of road where cars and taxis slowly trundle round to pick up and drop off passengers taking a ticket from the barrier machine as they enter. Found just outside of the entrance at the bottom of the escalators/lift to the station. Never having to do this myself, I have no idea of it's cost, since I am the one being picked up or dropped off.

    Small but practical train station.

Low rating due to poor staff, our train was cancelled and the next was at 8am the following day, no coach replacement or support from staff. The person we spoke to seemed to find it amusing we were abandoned for the night.

Manchester Piccadilly is the main railway station in Manchester, England. It is located in the city center, on the east side of Piccadilly Gardens. The station is served by trains from across the United Kingdom, including long-distance services to London, Edinburgh, Birmingham, and many other cities. The station has a number of amenities, including shops, cafes, and restaurants, as well as ticketing and information services. Additionally, there are connections to local and regional transportation, including buses and the Metrolink tram system.

Beautifully organised, secure and well maintained Train Station. I just loved the digital system in the UK.

The problems with this place is most people don't catch trains just hanging around all day like Trafford Centre. Then you get homeless sleeping around and in toilet

Very large station. Busy but easy to find platforms due to prominent signage.

Scam, was told I could stop for 10 minutes in short stay for free but short stay seems permanently shut and you have to use the other one that's £5 minimum. Go to the NCP instead.

All the platforms are in a row which is really good. Sometimes 2 trains with the same final destination and similar departure times share a platform and passengers get confused and then fined for using the wrong service.

The best part of this station is the’ cafes and plaza it’s not romantic but more functional but the Tesco is great The ticket desk is excellent and prefer over any app As for Avanti is…terrible.

Toilet was dirty, not sufficient staff at the information centre. The lady at centre wasn't helpful.

The staff was very helpful and ticket machines function well. Trains leave on time and there is place to sit and wait of you're a little early.

I dropped someone off. Theoretically you get a ticket out of the machine as you drive in, and pay as you drive out. Neither machine issued tickets. Luckily this time the barrier went up as I drove up. Last time I had to "escape" by driving on the pavement. Incredibly confusing!!

Busy place. Enjoyed the virgin ride here and the place was full of facilities

Sorry this place is a rip off for short stay, paid £7 for parking when all I wanted was 30 min short stay pick my mother up off a train, I learnt the hard way Manchester parking is extortionate, avoid at all cost.

Not to much I can say about here just that it is a train station. It's clean and tidy and does offer places to eat and drink with some shops

  • 4/5 Mechelle J. 4 years ago on Google
It's a busy interchange train station with the usual facilities available. Virgin Rail staff were helpful as usual.

Useful, convenient little space. Attended late evening, plenty of spaces available on this occasion. Could do with a bit more lighting within the parking area otherwise, serves it purpose.

😠 NOT SAFE!! Staying in the hotel next door which affiliates with this NCP, and has a stunning view from the window of this carpark. 🫤 Despite what google says, the free drop off car park is open but it is now 'on demand' but it took 3 calls over half an hour before a bus came. Can't help but think it is just a way to force you to join in with the chaos at the terminal and pay for the privilege. Poor show MCR

😠 Do not use this car park it is a scam by Manchester City council to rip off unsuspecting people. Paid £10.50 for 3hrs parking and came back after 2hrs to find a fine on my car (and about half the cars in there) even though I had the receipt and the warden had witnessed me paying at the machine.
