The number of boards and battens that are not completely twisted and warped can be counted on one hand. We, who are both very talented with our hands, still dared to build it, also to finally free up space in the garage. However, at some point you get to the point where the Karibu company's shortcomings can no longer be compensated for. In our case, it happened when a 4 x 70 screw was torn clean from the reversing board. I don't even want to know how, with such "quality", the installation of doors is supposed to work so that they close tightly in the end (which is not unimportant in a sauna), since you simply can't get a straight wall. Die Aussparung für das Türschloß wurde nicht ausgefräßt (ist aber so abgebildet), die Türgriffe sind nicht silber sondern messingfarben und die Blende auf der Innenseite ist nur ein billiges Blech (keine ordentliche Amatur wie abgebildet). Was auch extrem negativ ist, ist die Kommunikation. Wir haben das Haus über Otto gekauft und wenn man direkt versucht mit Karibu Kontakt aufzunehmen, wird sich hinter Otto versteckt "bitte den Händler kontaktieren" - als ob Otto etwas dafür könnte, das Karibu in jeder Hinsicht versagt. Mehrere Bretter waren auch gebrochen, hatte starke Risse und Absplitterungen, Nut&Feder passt nicht immer aufeinander-gerade wenn Bretter Risse haben oder stark verzogen sind- Harzauslauf (macht den Aufbau auch nicht einfach, wenn die Hände kleben). Sogar ein Kantholz der Unterkonstruktion war gebrochen! Die Aufbauanleitung ist wenig hilfreich, zu durcheinander und nicht gut beschrieben, bessere Zuordnung der Teile wäre wünschenswert. Video stimmt auch nicht immer und passt nicht mit Aufbauanleitung überein. Bei diesem Selbstbausatz muss auch noch sehr viel zurecht gesägt werden, weil Bretterlängen nicht stimmen etc. Haben sofort alles beim Hersteller und Händler reklamiert, mit sehr vielen Bildern dabei. Auf Reklamation wurde innerhalb von 2 Tagen reagiert, jedoch war der Lösungsvorschlag des Herstellers nicht akzeptabel. Scheint ein Standardschreiben auf Reklamation zu sein,auf die Kundenreklamation wird weniger eingegangen. Vorschläge: Eine Nachlieferung der reklamierten Bauteile (Lieferzeit 10-15 Tage) oder ein minimaler Preisnachlass. Bei den reklamierten Bauteilen, hätte das Gartenhaus eigentlich komplett ausgetauscht werden müssen und da davon auszugehen ist, dass die Austauschbauteile auch keine bessere Qualität haben, also keine Alternative und ökologisch wenig sinnvoll. Wir haben dann einen Tischler mit dem Aufbau beauftragt, damit das Gartenhaus auch seinen Zweck erfüllen kann. Wir sind handwerklich nicht unbegabt,machen viel selbst. Vor ein paar Jahren haben wir ein wesentlich größeres Gartenhaus (11-12 qm) allein, ohne Probleme und innerhalb von 6 Stunden aufgebaut. Das Gartenhaus war sogar zweigeteilt, ein Gartenhaus mit Geräteschuppen, aber die Holzqualität stimmte einfach. Der von uns beauftragte Tischler bemängelte auch sehr die minderwertige Qualität des Holzes, welche ihm den Aufbau auch erschwerte. So etwas hat er auch nicht gesehen. Preis/Leistungsverhältnis stimmt überhaupt nicht überein. Auf den Bildern sieht es top aus, aber die Realität holt einem bei Lieferung schnell ein. Die Kosten des Tischlers mussten wir auch selbst tragen, der Preisnachlass hat nicht mal für das selbstbesorgte Ausbesserungsmaterial gereicht. Der Händler osb war bemüht und antwortete auch immer umgehend. Hatten einen regen Mail-Austausch, aber einen weiteren Preisnachlass, der angebracht gewesen wäre, gab es leider nicht. Fazit: Wir raten jedem vom Kauf eines Gartenhauses von Karibu ab!!!

Unfortunately I read the reviews too late, otherwise I wouldn't have bought a Karibu sauna. My purchase was like many of its predecessors. Totally warped wood. There were also a few boards missing and some screws simply broke off. I bought myself new screws, new and straight boards. The sauna lounger also had a few cracks. Luckily only at the edge. A complaint form was included. You could choose subsequent delivery or do your own work with a discount. I decided on the second option because I didn't want to wait any longer. During the construction, someone from a timber construction company had to help me because the slats were so crooked and twisted that we couldn't put it up properly even with 5 men. He was able to pull the house straight with a ratchet. When installing the sauna door, a friend also had to help to straighten the door. He said it was an outdated system. In the end I submitted the complaint form. The answer was a joke because I would have had to complain for a replacement first. What does the personal contribution on the form mean??? I received a small goodwill payment. An absolute joke for the effort and delay. I then filed a complaint for a replacement for the sauna bed I complained about, which I did not repair myself but was still cracked. To date nothing has happened. Stay away from the company and service.
