Friends and acquaintances often ask you why you still go there, because you are not alone in your experience. I really wonder why I shouldn't order it online.

    I find the items relatively expensive. You can get the same thing for a few euros cheaper elsewhere. I also think that the floor is very dirty. If our circle of friends didn't always put up a birthday gift basket there, we would definitely never be there.

    It was my first time in the store after many years...what can you say...the offer signs are misleading, I was made aware that the 50% discount on clothing that day did not apply to basic items. So I looked for clothes that didn't say basic. At the checkout they said Basic was included. But the saleswoman couldn't tell me what they were? The same with the toys, 20% but in the small print there are various lists that don't count... then why write 20% on signs everywhere? I returned almost all of the items I wanted to buy. I think it's outrageous to deceive customers like that. When you go shopping, you don't want to spend your time reading A4 pages to see what's on offer and what's not. There are two stars for the nice saleswoman and the range.

    My review is based on an item purchased online. After buying a remote-controlled car as a Christmas present at the beginning of December, I was very satisfied. Fast processing, decent shipping. Therefore 2 stars. But unfortunately there was disappointment at Christmas, the car had a defect. Contacted customer service by email immediately after the holidays, but you can't call them. No response, then contacted again about 2 weeks ago. Again no reaction! That's a disgrace. The order was too long ago for me to print out a return label online like they offer. Of course, we have long since found a replacement somewhere else. Every parent knows what it means for a child not to be able to play with their Christmas present. I think it's a disgrace and I'm pretty angry and disappointed that no one is getting in touch. I think even though there's a lot going on after the holidays, I should have an answer by today.

    I was actually happy to have finally found some nice children's clothing. The nice saleswoman was very helpful and really patient. Also on the second visit, I was really hit again, bought a lot of things and was given good advice. The quality also impressed me. Now it happened that I ordered something online, but unfortunately the size wasn't right. Now I thought I had read on the internet that you could also collect the return in any branch. So I went to the store with my not exactly small box because I thought I could get rid of my package there and see if I could find a few cheap things. But no, there were 3 women on site who didn't even say hello. I have rarely experienced something so unfriendly!!!! Waiting and waiting, finally, I was noticed, I wanted to hand in my return and then there was an outrage as to why I wanted to leave the box here, it couldn't be accepted, you've never heard anything like that before, I should go to the post office. I pointed out that I wanted to leave it here... and then the whole fuss started. They attacked me with three women and kept repeating that I should take my package to the post office and, well, in what a tone. Ok, I wasn't friendly anymore. I think it's such a shame that saleswomen scare away their customers. The customer isn't king, it's the employees!!! I will only enter the store again when their only nice saleswoman is there!!! I really regret it, but you don't have to put up with something so unfriendly. I will definitely not pass on my good experiences any more.

    The store used to be much better...when I was there almost every week as a child, there was a huge selection, much more store space, a bright, inviting atmosphere and super friendly salespeople. I really liked being there...I've been there a few times now because of the 20 percent discount promotions (worth it for us) but I don't like spending time there...everything seems uninviting and not really organized...I think so It's a shame...it used to be so beautiful there... Some of the staff are very inattentive, but on the other hand they are mostly very friendly.

    This is by far one of the worst shops I know. The opening times are a disaster (only from 10 a.m.), the store itself is confusingly set up, totally untidy (even if you are the first customer there in the morning), empty shelves everywhere, a lack of product range, a lack of prices or wrong prices and then unfriendly staff. It couldn't be worse. Only go because it's the only toy store in the area and there's plenty of parking

    How can a toy store be excellent? Very easy... My wife bought the very last Lego police station in Bremen before Christmas and we wrapped it up that evening for our son as a Christmas present. On Christmas Eve he unpacked them and we were amazed at the strange stones in the sealed bags. At first glance we noticed a lot of red stones, a puzzle piece and dirty car tires. It quickly became clear: someone with sufficient criminal energy took out the real stones, put fake stones in them and then sealed the plastic bags again. Merry Christmas! After the Christmas holidays, back to SpielMax and the situation explained. The extremely generous and understanding managing director Stefan O. not only refunded us the money, but also gave us the police station, which he still had as a shop window model. Admittedly assembled and glued, but complete. At this point, thank you again for this generous gesture - our little one still plays with it today. Therefore full stars for complete trust and complete customer satisfaction.

    Fine as a toy store. I find the 20 percent discount signs very misleading. My son was happy to be able to use his savings to buy a specific item. Then at the checkout there is a note about the conditions of the promotion. There were disappointed children's eyes.

    I also find the store very uncomfortable. The light is terrible, the floor isn't nice, everything looks like a discount store. (Like, in my opinion, the entire shopping center.) But this is about Spiele Max, a shop for children that should invite people to come in. After the move I thought: “Oh, something is happening now.” It’s so crazy. It really still looks just as depressing. I was also often surprised about the staff. But when an employee recently told me that she can barely stand anymore and there is no chair, I decided to finally evaluate it. If my image of the store and its internal structures (my impression) does not change, I would rather support other stores. Please seek help from an interior designer or business consultancy. 😢
