I loved this place! They have great breakfast items including sandwiches, traditional breakfasts, smoothies, pancakes, and waffles. We also had jerk chicken and fried fish strips for lunch. The employees are wonderful and the locals are very friendly

The problem with the Sand Dollar Cafe all boils down to service. Here’s how it works. When the owner is present at work the service is on point, the owner is engaging polite and a total pleasure, the food arrives promptly and is of very high quality. Now when the owner is not present the 2 lazy female staff grind everything to a halt, the bar girl can’t be arsed the chef can’t be arsed , 1.5 hour wait for a chicken salad, no apology only when asked for a refund did things start to happen. I really hope the owner reads this review and takes everything said on board. We were not the only regulars to notice the difference between owner in and when not. Like trusting foxes to take care of your hen house.

Found this place online and then nearly walked past as couldn't see a menu. Glad we stayed though as the food was excellent. Ordered shark and a burger. The burger was excellent and the fried potatoes really tasty!

Love, Love,Love this place ❤️ The food is amazing. Ate here quite a few times Fish strips and chicken seasoned with Jerk, sweet potato fries ( wow) Salads, all absolutely delicious. The lady who owns the place is a fabulous chef and she works so hard all day long 7 days a week. If you've not been you must try, your missing out. Can't wait to return in February 2023.xx

A solid choice at Dover Beach - get the fish cutters! We had them twice in a week, and we enjoyed them both times. (The jerk cutters are a little spicy, while the regular ones are mild but flavorful.) The fries (with salt and vinegar) and the roast potatoes both make good sides.

The food here is amazing. Some of the best local cuisine. The staff are warm and pleasant and ever ready to assist you with your order, and even recommend some amazing dishes. A wonderful experience. Will definitely visit again!

Good food and drink selection, loved the cutters with sand dollar sauce - served with a large old Brigand. I’m missing frequenting this place already. Looks into the road / sports ground but nice area with Dover beach right behind it.

What can I say? The staff are super friendly and remember you by name. They always greet you with a smile like you are old friends. They are also super helpful. The food is amazing and well priced. Portions are huge, and the taste is some of the best on the gap. Great atmosphere. Would definitely recommend.

Food was great I take nothing away from the quality of the dishes, however service was very slow, roughly 2.5 hour wait time. Took away from the lovely atmosphere of the restaurant.

Best place to grab lunch and dinner. Conveniently in Dover near many hotels. The staff is amazing. Miss Ann threats her customers like family. Food is great, my favorites are the bowtie pasta, ham panini, and the salads are delicious.

We came here for lunch with the family. It was recommended by Charles Surf shop. We ordered the burger, tuna melt and sword fish jerk flavour. All were delicious.

Most excellent local place to grab a quick bite. Food is delicious, salads are great. We also had burger and grilled chicken. Prices by far the best and the staff are so welcoming and kind. Great place for people watching!

One of the best places on the island for good (not even) street food it's far better than that, the place rocks!! The staff & owners are tremendous! If you have room afterwards I would highly recommend the carrot cake!

Place was great. People friendly. It took a loong time to get food but they were apologetic and the place was full. The food, best and biggest we have had so far. Also the salad was very good. Tough to find in the islands. Jerk ckn was great, fish was good, fries perfect, salad perfect. Id go back for sure. Prices decent too for the island. Lot of locals go here.

The food is amazing and reasonably priced. I had most of my meals here while on vacation. This was my favorite food on the Island and some of the best food I've ever eaten period. I am a serious foodie and this place definitely satisfied my palate. The sand dollar pasta is so good that I brought some back home with me. Dont hesitate to eat here!

Ann and the staff here are the best! All of the food is delicious and always cooked to order. The crowd is mostly local regulars and offers a great sense of Barbados life. Prices are very reasonable.

If you are looking for home cooking style with a touch of class eating outdoors this is the place to eat real bajan food msde with love from one generation to the next that knows how to cook
