The only place I would get tattoo'd or my hair done. I've been tattooed by Harry for years and more recently by Mollie - I'm never disappointed. The service is always friendly, the space is clean and I'm always made to feel welcome and comfortable. A lovely family run shop. Both artists has different styles, which for me works the best as I have a range of different tattoos - Also, Wayne is a wonderful and entertaining hair dresser...who will blow-dry by hair beautifully and make a lovely cup of tea! Thanks Harry, Mollie and Wayne for keeping me beautiful!

I love this shop. It has a great atmosphere and very fun, friendly staff. I have two small tattoos so far by Mollie and I love them. The shop has never hidden the fact that she is an apprentice and if you ask you are told (seriously, if you go into a tattoo shop and don’t ask any questions at all or ask to see a portfolio before trusting someone with large/detailed work then that’s not the fault of the shop!). I will absolutely be back again soon for my next tattoo. Much love to all at the studio!

This place is so friendly, I was nervous having my first tattoo but I need not have worried. Harry was very professional and made me feel so at ease, the design was drawn on so that i could be sure I like it and the place it was in. Love my tattoo it's perfect! Will come back here everytime and I have many friends I have sent here and they are all equally as happy as me and many of them have already had 3 or 4 more tattoos. Thank you Harry, and Mollie and not forgetting Wayne the hairdresser. The best place by far!

This shop is amazing! So clean, professional and friendly. I have had all of my tattoos here by Mollie & Harry who both have years of experience. The only shop in Essex that I recommend to people! Whether it's your first tattoo or you are looking to try a new shop I would always recommend the baset and hair! They always handle their customers with care, consideration and I have never had a bad experience here! Walking into this shop feels like visiting old friends. Their hairdresser Wayne is now the only person I will let touch my hair, he is fantastic and his prices are so reasonable! Seriously, whether it's hair or ink you are looking for go to the basett and hair, you won't find a better service in Essex! Keep up the fab work guys!

My sister and I got matching tattoos in memory of our grandad who recently passed away and Bundy was just amazing! Bundy was super accommodating and understanding as my sister and I were only in London for a few days and were eager to get this done together as we live in different cities. The design was an exceptionally close replica of my Grandad’s handwriting with a tweak here and there so the consultation was pretty quick and smooth. The actual process of getting the tattoo done was really nice as well. Bundy was super friendly, you see that they sterilise everything and clean everything in front of you so no concerns there. The actual tattoo didn’t really hurt and if you follow the aftercare advice it should heal well :)! Thank you so much for a beautiful tattoo and a lovely experience!

Harry was outstanding. From the first request of the style of the tattoo to implementation, Harry listened and confirmed my final request. Also was flexible for my ever changing schedule. The aftercare advice was helpful and made the care of the tattoo easier.
