Probably the best bakery in Utrecht. What’s great - bread is top class - you can buy half loaf - coffee - the food is very good - recommended for breakfast and lunch - great seating What could improve - it is so busy, you may be waiting for a while to get served - service is really good or not so good depending on who you get - it is family friendly. This is good. But bad as some annoying kids running around. Or should I say annoying parents.

Bakkerswinkel is a really cute coffee and shop and bakery located alongside a canal in central Utrecht. It's a very small restaurant with limited seating inside, I high recommend that you make a booking. They managed to accommodate us without a booking, for which we were very grateful. The food and coffee were okay. Nothing really to rave about. The only negative aspect here was the service. It was really slow and some of the servers were quite unfriendly.

Food is amazing but the service lacked a great deal. Forgot our drinks twice for instance. Go there for the food though, it's amazing!

I had ordered a whole cheesecake for a special day and one week after ı asked one more time. All of my guests loved it.

Amazing fondue! We also ordered the charcuterie platter, which boasted a good variety and quantity of meat, and the pickles which provided a nice acidic balance to the meal. The highlight was the bread that perfectly complemented the cheese and satiated my hunger.

We sat upstairs. The lady behind the counter was more in to selling products (which I get) then serving us. We had one vegan high tea and she forgot the tea. Luckily two of us had a pot so he could drink ours before his came. It just all took a bit to long.

Good variety of cakes, worth checking out the seating downstairs which is very cosy and situated right by the canal. Felt it was on the pricey side as we paid over €20 for a coffee, coke and x2 slices of cake.

If you're looking for a quaint bakery to get breakfast this is it. The bakery is easy to find. Very friendly service. Food was good. Although they do sell out fast on some croissants.

They sell the most delicious scones you'll ever taste. They're open every day so you can eat fresh bread daily. Served with a heartwarming smile.

We had our breakfast at the Bakkerswinkel in Utrecht. We were looking for a place that could make us an omelette and we struggled to find a location. All the breakfast location sold yoghurt with granola but we wanted something with more body. The Bakkerswinkel also serves a healthy breakfast but lucky for us, also could fry up some eggs with bacon. Yummy! This lovely bakery has a friendly staff and cells mouth watering goods. We are ArnhemLife. We provide tourist information on our website about Arnhem. Arnhem is only 20 minutes by train form Utrecht and definitely worth a visit while in the Netherlands. We also provide a bike rental service and offer various guided city tours in Arnhem.

Great place for cheese fondue especially during winter. The restaurant is quite big downstairs so suitable for hosting large groups, once the situation permits again. Really enjoy the blue cheese fondue. They also have a good system for take aways as well, we have ordered multiple times.

Sat at a table outside in the shade, with a lovely view over the canal. We had Dutch breakfast with ham, eggs and cheese on top of sourdough bread, was very happy with it. We also had lovely flat whites with pasteis de nata. Nice place, friendly staff, great food, what's not to like?
