Best first dining experience, just ate and smiled the whole time. The staff were very friendly and attentive, service was quick. My boyfriend loves this place and couldn't wait to take me here and now I understand. Can't wait to go back. I didn't even miss that we didn't have alcohol drinks with our dinner.

If I could give more than 5 star I would . I try Pork Belly Tonkotsu Ramen with spicy broth. The soft egg are well made , pork belly are super juicy & tender . Order hot tea , serve with clay pot , even I already finish my food , the tea still hot in the pot . Recommend !!!

Looking for a dinner near my hotel and found this place close by. Quaint spot, cozy and great atmosphere vibe. The ramen special I got was delicious and the appetizer was as well. The ramen soup had great flavor, the noodle were classic and the toppings well cooked. The pork in the buns were juicy and the sauce was perfect. Would definitely recommend to try and I was would go back myself if I was a regular in the city.

I got the pork belly tonkotsu ramen with the karai (spicy miso) soup base and my friend got their signature aka nom nom ramen. The broth was delicious and it wasn’t spicy to the point where I couldn’t eat it. It was very flavorful and was a decent portion size. The pork belly chashu was a bit salty but overall was really good. We also shared an order of the pork buns and they were amazing! The service was fast and we had a very nice and attentive waitress. Had a very comfy atmosphere and would love to come again!

One of the best ramens I’ve had. The broth, the pork, egg, and noodles were all cooked perfectly. Not too salty and not bland. The pork buns are huge. Delicious also. High quality food that won’t break the bank. Check it out!

Visiting from out of town. Glad to have found this place. I ordered the AKA Nom Nom and the menu said the soup is cook for 30 hours. The ramen is the best I’ve in years. Much better than all the hyped up new ramen places with oily soup based. The noddles is cooked just right and chewy. The owner speaks Cantonese so we got an extra pot of tea so it’s a bonus for us

Pretty standard ramen, one thing I don't like is that they use marinated soy sauce pork belly as the protein in the ramen. It makes it way too salty than usual ramen, and doesn't feel like eating a ramen. Which is quite weird. But the ramen tastes decent overall, would prob go here for a quick lunch instead of taking it too serious of a eating.

Best ramen in Philly by far. Their pork belly falls apart in your mouth - they’re reasonably priced with fast and nice service. Any time I come here I feel cozy, happy and full. Great place for a date or having a meal with friends and family :)

Update: They changed the chef and unfortunately, I don't like the ramen any more. It's so sad! Their rice bowls are still good. So I would only come there for those. Previous review: Yummy!!!! We tried the Nom Nom ramen, Katsu don, and the chicken bao. All the dishes are very good. My review will focus on ramen since that's my main dish. I asked for extra spicy for my ramen and it was great! I have been to Japan and have tried ramen in a lot of cities. So I am usually picky with ramen and this place delivered. The broth was very rich with melt in your mouth chashu and good variety of veggie toppings. The eggs were perfect as you could tell from pics. A lot of ramen restaurants in US can make slightly salty broth, which kills the dish for me. The flavor profile here was perfect. I liked the extra ground meat in the broth. This is my favorite ramen place in town now. Oh, the decoration is very cute and cozy here. It was a lovely experience in general. Can't wait to be back.

Great place for ramen. The ramen is flavorful, add the extra minced meat. Came on a Thursday lunch hour after visiting Franklin Institute, it was pack with people working near by. As soon as lunch hour is over, the seatings are open back up. Be patient, only one cook and another person taking orders.

Very flavorful ramen. Love that it came with a whole egg at no extra charge (one of my favorite parts of the ramen). Decent helping of everything that was included in the bowl.

I haven't been here in over a year and not even a pandemic has effected the quality of the food here. Highly recommend if you are looking for authentic ramen noodle. 🍜👍🏾

This place is definitely a must try Japanese food place. We came as a group of 6 people for Saturday lunch, and it wasn’t crowded so we got seated right away. I love the cozy vibe of the restaurant and the Japanese mask decorations were really cute. I got a Shrimp buns and it was amazing. My friends got other buns and a Nom Nom Ramen, and they all said that their orders tasted amazing. The price was standard, not expensive. But the thing that made me remember about the restaurant the most was the service. The owner gave us free fried shrimp!! How nice of him. The waiter was friendly as well. It was an authentic taste of Japanese food. Would love to come back and try more dishes!!

Really good pork they use in their ramen! Definitely a highlight. Would recommend the spicy Karai ramen over the Shio ramen from a flavor perspective.

Pretty good place. The curry ramen was tasty and cheap, a great value. Not quite as many vegetables as I would have liked, even with the extra order of bean sprouts. But still a lot of vegetables. I do wish the server had explained more carefully that the egg cost extra, and the meal took a little while, but other than that the service was really good. The chicken was really flavorful too.

Love ramens that include the whole egg. I've always wondered what happens to the other half in those half-yolked ramens. The Nom Nom Ramen was even better because the broth tasted great and the pork cutlets were tender. The staff make parties of one sit at the counters by the windows even when plenty of tables are available. The night was going to get busy I take it. I did get to see a car almost fishtail into a curb though. Dinner and a movie.

Pretty good ramen and very friendly staff. Enjoyed the noodles and ingredients but found the soup slightly lacking depth. Still a good quick meal though!

Nom Nom Ramen was one of my go to lunch restaurants before the pandemic. It is the first time I have been here in over a year. It was good to return. I am glad they are still around

Best BUNS! Their buns are super tasty (eggplant is my favorite!) and you can never go wrong with their ramen. Great flavors. Good spice and fresh ingredients. Vegetarian options. Great service. Cozy atmosphere.

Amazing food and quick service. We got the Nom Nom Ramen and the Chicken Chintan Shio Ramen and they were both flavorful and delicious. We also got the pork buns and they were also fantastic. Highly recommend.

I love it was a given that we try this place! I heard nothing but wonderful things about this establishment and people. I reached out to them on Facebook, and they answered my questions in a timely manner. I asked them about the byob, and they confirmed they were a byob. Food was great, I'll be going back!

It is early dinner with only 4 tables including ours, but the food was not in schedule. Food taste amazing and worth a waiting, but the 3 sets of buns should not take 20 minutes. Also, Aka Nom Nom was the dish you have to try. Gritty flavor with all the ingredient go along with noodle very well. Unfortunately, Tan Tan was quite not a special. The flavor, spice, broth, egg, and nothing was special. And nothing like Tan Tan noodle (Dan Dan noodle) I can tell no matter what you choose to eat, you won't regret to choose Nom Nom Ramen. Just be patient and

My daughter and I visited Nom Nom on a rainy December day and thoroughly enjoyed our stop. The interior is warm and inviting. There are window seats for individual patrons and tables and booths for parties of 2 or more. There was a good sized crowd at 1pm on a Thursday but we were seated immediately. Both of us chose the Aka Nom Nom Ramen. I added the “Fire Bomb” to mine, which is a small container of sautéd habaneros. The Chashu was seared, tender, and flavorful and completed the delicious broth. The noodles were al dente, which we enjoyed. Didn’t get a chance to try the rest of the menu but there are bao buns, appetizers like gyoza and takoyaki, and rice bowls. What impressed me was the ways you can customize your dish, adding items like corn, or mushrooms, or upgrading your pork belly to pork cheek. Price was about $20 a bowl on average, but there are cheaper options if that’s your choice. We will definitely return to Nom Nom soon…

    1. One of the good ramen places I've been to in Philadelphia. Their broth was amazing. It's nothing like I've had before. The first sip was the best. 2. Their soda machine is always broken so the choice of beverages is only cans. I would have also liked to try some authentic Japanese beverages but unfortunately they don't have any to offer. 3. The ambiance is pretty normal. Nothing special. But not lacking anything as well. Would definitely recommend checking this place out.

Atmosphere: 1/1: clean and minimally decorated with nice wooden interior Service: 1/1: I ordered to go, but staff seemed nice Price: 0.5/1: Prices in pictured menu found in Google was incorrect. It is kinda of pricey. For 2 ramen and 3 buns our lunch was $52. I have posted a picture of their new menu/prices Food: 1.5/2: the meat in both the ramen and buns were delicious! Broth was also very good. The noodles were just alright in my opinion. Overall: 4/5: Place is expensive for ramen, but overall their Ramen is decent.

Saw this place that was close by the hotel and decided to place an Uber eats order which I picked up. I walked there and they were just about done preparing it so it was super fresh. I walked back and lates out the items at the hotel. It all looked and smelled great. The tempura tofu kinda lacked flavor. But I soaked it in the ramen soup to help. I had the pork belly tonkatsu ramen. It was ok but really didn’t have that great of a flavor. And the pork tasted a little salty too. The noodles were a little bland. We also got the chicken katsu don. With the sauce on the side. The flavor was very strong almost overwhelming. I’m glad we got the sauce on the side. The restaurant was nice and looked clean and cozy.

Great spot for Ramen. Super yummy. They offer vegetarian ramen which most places don't and the spicy option is delicious. Cute spot. Friendly service.

The portions were plenty and the food was superb. The pork buns were very tender and the Aka Nom Nom ramen broth packed tons of flavor.

Aka Nom Nom, you MUST try it! Very flavorful, a perfect balance of saltiness and sweetness. Eggs are soft, yolk is running and flavored too. Pork is well cooked and tender. A spoon of minced pork just brought it to another level!
