I lived at Deer Crest for over two years. I absolutely loved it at the beginning - the neighborhood is quiet, the location is convenient, the grounds were well kept, and the staff had been super helpful during my move. However, this place has seriously gone downhill. The property is always covered in trash (parking spaces are actually overtaken by it), furniture is left by the dumpsters for weeks on end, and it's nearly impossible to get maintenance to fix anything. I had put in a few maintenance requests upon move-in, and they never got fixed before I moved out. I was also put on a several-months-long waitlist to get my one and only toilet fixed (I ended up having to hire someone to fix it. Can't go months without having a working toilet!). I struggled to get timely responses from management on anything, and the staff is no longer friendly. I'm sad that it turned out this way - I really did love the neighborhood and my neighbors were very sweet, but I'm not okay with how everything progressed.

The unit itself was fine and the neighborhood is quiet but getting a response from staff is near impossible without going in person. I’ve called and left messages multiple times a day for a week with no response. Maintenance requests were left unfulfilled until after I moved out. They charged me almost five hundred dollars for “fridge and stove cleaning.” After talking with other previous tenants I learned that this complex is known for outrageous charges after move out. I’d recommend finding somewhere else that suits your needs if possible.

This is a great place to live. I feel safe, it's less expensive than most, it allows dogs and the amenities are fantastic - Pool, with a really nice gated area that includes tables, shade and a grill plus a jacuzzi. There's a fire pit. A community area with free snacks and beverages. A library you can donate to and borrow from. Plus a gym.

Me my wife and son live here for almost a year and it's really great place. The staff and the maintenance are great people always friendly and very helpful. We moved from Europe so it was a huge change for us but those people made us feel like home quickly. One staff member even agreed to take care of our dog while traveling - amazing people! In terms of house quality - of course you can find something newer or nicer but concerning price and quality it is really good. Overall great place, well maintained with wonderful people. :)

Many reviews on here are very negative. Not sure if people get mad and just come here and make stuff up or what. The staff at deer crest has been more helpful and nice to work with than any other apartments I've lived at before. They are quick to respond and are always respectful! The maintenance staff is so amazing as well. Always quick and again, always respectful of our home. The grounds are always well kept too. Eric works in the office and has been such a wonderful person to work with. Thank for all your help and for keeping our home a nice place to be!

We really love it here. The neighbors are nice and we like the park across the street. There is a Thai restaurant right down the road and the the couple there is so nice.

Edit: I wrote this review back in October 2022 and it is just now able to post. I took my dog for her morning walk at about 8:30am this morning. This was after coming home from working a 12hr night shift as a registered nurse and made the mistake of walking past the leasing office. As we were walking away, the lady who works at the office came out to yell at me and told me to pick up after my dog. From about 20 feet away, I told her that my dog did not go number 2. She continued to accuse me of not picking up after my dog so I told her to come look for herself. Surprise surprise, I was right! This was extremely unprofessional and offensive, especially since I always pick up after my dog. I told her that my dog was having stomach issues this morning and she proceeded to give me advice about my dog's glands.... like what??? I have lived here for 2 years and never caused any problems. Although there are countless things wrong with my apartment that they never got fixed since we moved in, we are still always polite and forgiving towards the staff. This personal encounter was what pushed me over the edge to write this one star review. In fact, this place should earn zero stars. I don't believe any of the 5 star reviews. Everyone I know that lives here has bad experiences and they will not hesitate to tell you all about it themselves. I'll be moving out very soon and I can't wait. I 10/10 do NOT recommend this place. Inconsiderate, unprofessional, and incompetent.

I've been waiting over two months for $200 application fee refund that I have not received. I have called, I have left emails, I'm simply just being ignored. Stay away from these apartments. You'll get screwed.
