Not only do they serve amazing coffee and food, the staff couldn't be nicer. They always make you feel welcomed and take the time to ask how your day is going. So glad to see a sweet locally owned cafe in Brossard!

Phil and the crew are really amazing at what they do. This place is a must. Prices are more than fair considering how unique of a product and experience they are delivering here daily. I mean, the strip mall was empty, but Cafe Kuya was packed! What does that tell you about this place? This place is great for students and families. I recommend the ube iced latte as a drink and for food; everything. Amazing atmosphere, love this place! God bless. John 3:16

Wonderful local café where family, friends and newcomers can come refuel on their favourite coffee brew, grab a bite with Filipino inspired sandwiches and wonderful dessert pies!

Who? @cafe.kuya What? Filipino coffee shop Why? Relatively new on the South Shore, Kuya Café offers a great menu with a variety of different coffees as well as a beautiful seating to study or to enjoy coffee with friends. The iced latte and iced mochas were delicious and big! The quality of coffee used was definitely top tier. They also serve traditional filipino food. We got the Breakfast “Longganisa” sandwich as well as the “Pinoy” sandwich which were both AMAZING. The flavours were out of this world! The Buko pie was also outstanding and something that we had never tried before. Kuya will definitely become a favourite for studying as the staff is incredibly nice and knowledgeable and the place has a cool, relaxing atmosphere

Charming little place with a unique menu. The taste is not for me, personally, since the flavor profile tends to lean more towards a sweeter taste rather than salty. Friendly staff and good café vibes/ambiance to study/work or have a chat.

Nice place with nice people. The breakfast sandwich was great! Coffee fantastic! The owner is a personable, smiling guy. Great optics. Check out the bathroom art. Right off the highway. Easy off, easy on.

We got donuts and a latte at it was absolutely amazing These little bundles of deliciousness were completely packed with incredible lychee and coconut cream. Very light, not overly filling, about 85% cream - perfect ratio. We're very sad we could only get 4 😅😅 The latté was also wonderful, velvety and smooth, just the right amount of sweetness, easily one of the best lattes we've ever had. It's worth going out of your way to Brossard for either of these treats and we will be back.

Put all of it in your mouth. These guys know their coffee and have a pulse on what the smaller roasters are doing in the Montreal area and in the Filipino community. They put a lot of love and care into their space and their food. The lechon (roast pork) sandwiches are DELICIOUS and the siopao (steamed buns) are jam-packed full of BBQ-style pork or chicken adobo (Adobo = the salty/vinegar-y national dish of the Philippines). Then there's the buko (coconut) pie, which features large slices of fresh coconut in a creamy coconut sauce encased in the most flaky, buttery homemade pie crust. Love the touch of the IG-worthy selfie wall that features a vintage motorcycle and the stylized word "Barkada" meaning friends/crew. If you're Filipino- support this awesome venture! If you're not Filipino- try some delicious coffee and food by 2 passionate guys! I will go back for sure the next time I'm in the area.

I cannot express how much I love this place. Both coffee and food is delicious: love their matcha lattes with coconut milk, and lechon sandwich. Sometimes, they also have a pop-up like their Smash Burgers! (See images)

A real gem! I’m not just saying this as I am Filipino, I live in the eastern townships, nearly 2 hours drive and as soon as I got the chance to come to Brossard , I checked this cafe out. Nice, simple ambiance, plenty of parking and the name strikes a chord (Kuya = big brother). The coffee is lovely and I tried the breakfast sandwich which is composed of a brioche or potato based bun, with traditional Filipino relish (Achara = papaya pickle) a fried egg (yellow yolk still runny, cooked to perfection) and a burger patty reminiscent of the Filipino breakfast sausage “longganisa” with hints of garlic and sweet porc. It hit all the right spots. I will come back later for their “Ube” latte! Come check it out ☺️

Cozy little coffee shop with a small but good choice of coffee. The staff are very friendly and helpful with great recommendations. The menu is a small selection of sandwiches filipino-inspired flavours but again, well executed. The prices for the food is steep for the size but everything is freshly made. The pies are also delicious, not too sweet and very buttery with a fresh coconut flavour. A nice spot for a quick bite and great coffee on the south shore.

I went to work from there and it was really good. The atmosphere is nice, with some background music, but not too loud to be disturbed. I has this type of muffin called "Mamon" and it was delicious! The service was really good too, all the staff is always at your service. Great place to hang out. Totally recommended!!

Very cute cafe! Had no idea they served food! Would've came earlier! The food was delicious! We tried the Adobo Sliders, Pork Belly Sandwich, the special guest Chef pizza (spicy Langonisa) and coffees! Everything was great. The pizza was a deep dish type.. edges were golden and crispy!!! The peanut pesto was the first thing I tasted as I took my first bite, what a great surprise! The pork belly Sandwich, I really enjoyed, super flavourful, the sauce was good; & with the added pineapples.. even better!! I liked the fact that they used arugula as well. The Adobo Sliders were a bit "tough" but the taste was still delicious. The sauce being the more noticeable taste for me. I got an Ube Latte (w/coffee) - I really enjoyed it as well! Cute latte art definitely made me smile.

I was so excited when I heard that a Philipino café had opened up in Brossard! The cafe is located just off the 132 highway at the Rome exit in Brossard. I loved the vibe. It's a quaint cafe with about 5 tables for people to sit and chat or do work. The cafe offers free wifi. The staff are all really nice and welcoming and are passionate about coffee. I ordered a Cortado with one of their Philipino blends and it was excellent. Their coffee is definitely one of the best on the south shore. Similar quality to café pistache et Nlatte. They also sell bags of beans of well known roasters as well as Philipino blends. I love that in addition to great coffee they also serve excellent food. Sometimes food at cafes can feel like an afterthought but their menu is legit and at really reasonable prices! I ordered their lechon sandwich, pork belly chimchurri mayo and grilled pineapple on a potato bun. It was so delicious, i could have eaten a second one if I had the appetite. I also ordered their chicken adobo steamed bun and their miso pesto noodles with fried tofu (vegan option). Both fishes were great! Finally i couldn't resist their Buko pie (coconut pie with mochi and shaved parmesan on top). I've never had anything like it and it was SOOO good. It was sweet and salty and the crust was flaky. It tasted like a home baked pie. I will definitely be popping by Café Kuya regularly!

Very cute little cafe, service is friendly but mildly on the slower side. This place is quite popular so if you get there in the afternoon, many things (food-wise) on the menu is no longer available, so keep that in mind when planning to visit here! I tried the breakfast sandwich and the pulled pork sandwich. It is quite good, but the price is meh (a bit high for what you actually get). The sandwiches are on the smaller side. My friend raves about the ube latte here. She says it's the best. She regularly comes here. I'm not an ube fan, so I can only take her word for it. Worth a try. This place really puts a lot of attention on building a community with their clients.

Looking to support local. Tried the litchon sandwich, and longaniza breakfast and found them a tad greasy. But otherwise tasty. The litchon could use a bit of brine. Great atmosphere and definitely a place to bring friends and family.

Espresso game is on point. Delicious, creamy coffee from what seems like carefully selected beans. Cappuccino was a bit heavy on hot milk
