Compared to other 5 star hotels, there was a very small selection of food during breakfast and the food tasted bland. Also, the WiFi is extremely slow considering it is 2022.

I booked a 1 bed suite cost $490 a night. At first I was amazed by the room decorations and quality of Hi - Tea. But it all went down drastically bad when ordering a food from Room service. I ordered 2 hours before so that there will no fuss later and they can arrange what I've ordered in sufficient time. But when they bring it to the room it was cold, raw, blend Taste but more importantly wrong order. When I call the room service their attitude and reaction was worst then the food. Next thing internet..Great. they make me run to lobby just to get a new internet code at 2300hrs. It works gr8 on lobby but after returning to my room it doesn't worth even a single step.. So let's say I have spend my own money to use internet as well..sorry I'm not writing this to get any sympathy but to reflect the facilities of your hotel. Thank you for ruining my anniversary and $490+ 2$ for internet..

Nice shower, fancy architecture but slow wifi and the man at the front desk told us our ferry back to Labuan was at 2:00 when it wasn’t until 4:30 so we had to wait for 4 hours at the terminal.

I am having business trip here. The staff are very nice, so glad to be here. Although the hotel might be a little bit old, but the overall condition is still good and acceptable! Water pressure is strong and adequate compare to a lots of the hotels that is newer than that of the Rizqun Hotel around the globe, this surprised me ( I personally very concerned about the water pressure when taking a shower haha). The breakfast buffet is nice though, no. of choices between 8-10 as I remember. And it is very convenient that there are lots of restaurants and shops around the hotel. Nice!

I had a terrible experience at this hotel involving no sleep due to a faulty fire alarm that the staff knew about and didn’t inform me of. It went off twice at 5am. They never apologised for this. I checked out early because they couldn’t guarantee the sound wouldn’t happen again. They refused to refund me for the nights I didn’t stay and have now blocked my email completely when I tried to involve Agoda (the booking platform) to help resolve my issue with the hotel. The people that work here aren’t trained at all, they literally have no idea about the property. Wifi doesn’t work. I repeat, in 2024, in this “5 star hotel” your internet will NOT work. Free breakfast might be free but it’s not a 5 star hotel standard and it’s mostly gross compared to the amazing food you can have all throughout Brunei. If you’ve hired a car, prepare to battle for a park, the “free parking” as advertised is actually just The Mall parking and isn’t exclusive to the hotel at all. You will need to ask each day for a free parking slip and you may not even be able to find a park. I know, you’ve taken a look at The Empire and thought “that’s too expensive” it isn’t. That place is jaw dropping and incredible. This place is the one that is too expensive. I wouldn’t recommend wasting your money on this undeserving establishment. In short; No wifi No service No sleep

Stayed for a night for work. Nearby the airport, and it's attached to a mall and nearby an evening food market. Room was spacious with basic amenities and washroom has separate segments for bath and shower. Wide spread of breakfast choices but I only had coffee hence not able to comment about food taste and quality.

I had the pleasure of serving a short quarantine stay there. Room was comfy and clean, staff is very friendly. Can't comment about facilities ans pools, though. Shopping mall 'The Mall' is next door and easy to reach internally. ATM are located there.

Good location in the heart of Gadong shopping area. But difficult to find parking. Hotel decor looks old and outdated. Wi-Fi in the rooms do not work consistently.

I have experienced a most enjoyable sojourn at The Rizqun International. The staff exhibited remarkable friendliness and an unwavering commitment to providing assistance, going above and beyond to ensure my satisfaction. Undoubtedly, this hotel ranks among the finest I have had the pleasure of patronizing across the globe. The accommodations are notably spacious, impeccably maintained, and adhering to a high standard, with a thoughtfully designed layout. I derived immense pleasure from the delectable hot cooked breakfast provided. My experience was without any blemish, and I unequivocally intend to revisit this establishment and extend my endorsement to others.

But enough parking. In Brunei such a plenty place can't give enough parking for visitors, don't leave a nice impression. Good food.

Definitely good place to go. Checked in grand deluxe room and it comes with two toilet. Bigger room indeed. One building with the mall so you can go to cinema and shop in one place. They give parking as well so you can get park in the basement. Breakfast was simple but definitely good service. Staff are friendliest as well.

Great rooms and beautiful hotel. If customer service and professionalism of the staff would improve a notch, it would be perfect

Customer service from staff (front office) needs a lot of improvement. Please train them properly.

Nice big rooms. Very comfy bed. Aircon is too cold. I have it switched off. Major issues with hot water in the shower. Card for lights encourages guests to waste energy. Wifi technology is old. Can only connect to one device at one time and get cuts off when phone is off. Need to reconnect often. Breakfast is good. Can hear my neighbor. His/her alarm sounds at 4am and rings non-stop. Drove me nuts. No Netflix on TV, nothing much to watch. Cartoons and occasionally BBC News. Local TV and RTM from Malaysia.

4 star review . Hotel interior is clean but they need to upgrade it for a modern look. Food is good. A nice place to go during holidays and weekends. You can watch movies, shop and have enjoyable eating experience as it is inside one of brunei's biggest mall.

One of the nicer hotels albeit a little old. Staff are friendly, and the hotel is directly connected to a mall. Within the mall, you can find fast food, supermarket and many eateries. Minutes walk from the hotel, you can find a night market, McDonald and many more eateries m. Rooms wise, the bed is comfortable. Aircon is strong and they provide a series of amenities from shampoo to soap to toothbrush.

The conference hall serves its purpose but the sound system can be a lot better especially eliminating those echoes.

Had a fantastic spacious and cool room on the top floor. Cannot fault the room service staff - all were friendly and helpful. Pool area is lovely. Breakfast buffet has good choices if you go early - some dishes run out if you go for a later breakfast. Would stay there again.
