This park is very close to the Braunschweig railway station. It is a very big and beautiful park with lots of garden seatings, exercise equipments, kids play areas. Often you see people jogging, cycling, walking, BBQ-ing, kayaking etc, making it a multi-purpose wholesome recreational park. It has so many landscape elements, and I never get tired of going there.

Pleasant park in Braunschweig not far from the central train/tram station. Popular with cyclists and walkers. A few lakes. Skirts the local river in places. Overflowing bins a problem. Lots of rabbits and ducks.

Huge Park in the middle of Braunschweig. Good place to hangout, Jogging, picnic, Reading books, or Just stralling around in the morning or afternoon. They usually have an Open Air Concert During Summer.

Good place for family outing. Wc are very less. It would be good if they arrange more wc inside park. Or give proper way and notice to inside the park.

Hupge park, comfy for picnics, suitable for sports. Top destination in the weekends, especially for families.

Park like no other, with slow and quiet river whitch is anything but strait, plenty of Green, many walking areas, for quiet walk or running or cyciling... You have an option for remting a canooe, or (this is mine first time to see something like this) you can rent a frisbee, or better sead a complete of diferent wheights frisbees in a rucksack and go on a "DiscGolfPark" tour, you have like a golf course diferent distances and all kind of trees in a way... Very interesting.... I was totaly relaxed after few minutes in this park, quiet with few ducks, and rabbits... Perfect for Sunday picnic with family. Warm recomendation from me...

This is an attractive city park with paths weaving between the River Oker and plenty of mature trees and green spaces. Great place for dog walking. There is a lake, and a folly. Benches are scattered at pleasant vantage points. Ducks, geese, heron, woodpeckers and even, sometimes, more exotic birds of passage abound. The city council in its infinite wisdom has also installed a "Disc Golf" course throughout, which is a sort of cross between golf and frisbee. It's not too intrusive.

Big and great park! I live in brunswick and I must say I am really impressed by this city's park in general but also by the buerger park in particular. It offers some sportive exercises like Disc golf (you would have to bring the discs yourself but there are many freely available tracks) and its perfect for a walk or sit near one of the nearby bodies of water.

Very relaxing place, and you can play sport there, they put an opened gym. It is spacious, green, quite place .
