Incredible experience and awesome spot. Friends have raved about this location and it absolutely lived up to the hype and then some. Not only do they present evert beer properly but they are on top of their cleaning of beer lines as well. They flushed 2 lines with a cleaning solution while we were there for almost 20 minutes. Very impressive, would absolutely visit again.

Visiting Moeder Lambic was one of the things that I was looking forward to most in Brussels, and unfortunately it failed to deliver. The guy who served us seemed more interested in getting out to have a cigarette, rather than talking us through the beers (even though they'd just opened, and we were the only people there). And the music was also way too loud, which meant sitting outside was the only real option. That said, the food was good.

This is hands down the best beer bar in Brussels. The vibe, the coziness and the service made it worth visiting this place three times during our holiday. And I'm sure we'll come back during our next visit to Brussels. The beer menu is really impressive and occasionally they have an extra daily beer menu with additional beer brands. The place is located next to the Anneessens station which makes it easily accessible from the North and South stations.

If you fancy a beer and comforting meal, Moeder might be the place for you. A large selection room of craft beers (Lambic sours being among them) and filling dishes such as french onion soup or croque monsieur will get you where you want to be. Service is friendly and quick, and there’s ample seating. Unfortunately the flavours are rather tame, and the prices steep - if you want a good value meal or enjoy well seasoned food, Moeder won’t do. Still come here for their beers, however!
