Visited this place last week and was not expecting anything great. It is an Indian restaurant in the central shopping area of Brussels. The place is rather small, so in the evenings it is often full. The food they serve is tasty and their menu is big, from vegetarian food, to fish, chicken and lamb. We took Onion Pakoda and Palak Paneer and Chicken Tikka. Everything was excellent. If you are an Indian and tired of trying out other Indian Restaurants yo can give one try here

The food is amazing and tastes very nice. We got an appetizer with some sauces and spices to try out, it was amazing. The food itself is delicious and there are non spicy dishes too for people who don't like very spicy food like myself. The restaurant has a nice and cozy atmosphere and the staff is so helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend this restaurant!

It was quite calm in the restaurant, but winter season, -2 outside and on a Tuesday. But the food was very good and service very gentle. Naan bread was delicious. Had a good moment with a friend and came back home with the feeling that a had a very good meal. We asked for a doggy bag and gave it to homeless people we crossed on our way back home.

best Indian restaurant in Brussels,We were there a couple of times when we were in Brussels and the food was simply delicious. The service was very courteous and professional. Easy to locate using Google maps. Prices were nominal. I would certainly recommend this restaurant for those in Brussels instead of overrated ones on the city centre. Bombay lnn

Most delicious Tikki Massala we've had, highly recommend. The food and drinks were also served very fast. Definitely will be going back to stay a bit longer and try one of their menus. Do not just walk by this restaurant but go inside and be surprised!

A place for date. It's a family restaurant with nice food and excellent touch and care. They made feel really comfortable (quite unique in Brussels). Perfect for a date, or to ask for forgiveness when a misunderstanding happened :-) Enjoy!

I first visited this restaurant during my first visit to Brussels. I just got hungry and decided to stop by for a dinner. Everything was so delicious that when I returned to Brussels three years later, I remembered this restaurant and visited it again with pleasure. Highly recommend this place!

Excellent service, courteous staff, in the heart of Brussels so ideal location. Taste is not bad but not excellent, also a little pricy. But overall a good place to have an India bite. I tool pictures of manu, you can have a quick look before going.

February 2024 3* Visited the place for quick dinner. The place is located near Grand place so the location is best. Atmosphere was not very good as it looks pretty old and little bit smelly. The staff is good and helpful but can be improved. I tried vegetarian thali which included salad, spinach, chickpeas, mixed veg and daal. The food was not very bad but i think thali is not good idea. I really liked chickpeas and mix veg. Other things were average. Can improve the food quality and ambiance.

Reply after Bombay’s comment: As you remember, I did complain about the curry saying it does not taste like one and mixing potatoes, peas, cauliflower and other veggies plus no coconut milk is not normal in a curry! However you did not offer to change my dish :) Also we appreciate the drinks on the house, but this was offered by you in view of us being unhappy and it does not make me change my view in terms of your dishes. True that there is a terrace. Unfortunately the food is dissapointing: average at best in terms of taste, plus not authentic dishes, for eg the Mumbai curry was actually a vegetable stew.. I was explained that is how the Mumbai curry is made and also that it contains no coconut milk.. The lassi was terrible, especially the mango one. The atmosphere seems heavy. It’s usually busy and seems unaired. However the ‘busy’ vibe gives it a cozy impression.

My family and I visited Brussels for the first time and we were told about this restaurant. It was our first time trying Indian food and I have to say it did not disappoint! We ordered a bit of everything on the menu and everything was delicious! The service was fantastic and the location is perfect ( right in the middle of Grande Place.) Would definitely recommend if you want to try something new or if you love traditional Indian food!

I have eaten at Bombay Inn on a number of occasions and I have always found the food to be excellent. With a range of veg and non-veg dishes, you are certain to find something to your liking. The service is great and I would highly recommend this restaurant.

This is by far the best Indian food I have ever had. Delicious & fresh! Amazing service, beautiful setting, steps from Grand Place. Hidden gem, not at all like the tourist traps around the plaza. So glad we found it. Loved. Highly rec!

I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you are looking for a good decent Indian food,I also spoke with tje cook very experienced person he is from Punjab,so you get a really authentic north Indian food. Please avoid going to other restaurants on the area, they have buffet without any taste and more expensive than Bombay inn. Overall excellent food with value for money still cheaper than nearby restaurants.

The waiter was patient and friendly, the food was ok but there wasn't enough space on the table for the food and around us, felt very squeezed! Our toddlers found the mild kids menu very spicy for their taste and barely ate it, the chapati and naan saved the day.

Great restaurant, staff were brilliant and the food was fantastic. They had a separate menu detailing gluten free, vegetarian, vegan. There were many gluten free options!

We first asked for a set meal but we were "forced" to order a bigger set meat for 2 people which costed alot more. We said at first we will order what we think what would be enough for us but the waiter told us "ordering more food was not possible". It is not like it was near closing time and kitchen was closing. Curries were watery and was wasted because we couldn't eat it. Kulfi was really bad also. It was cut into small pieces and had no taste. Really waste of money. Not worth it

Authentic Indian place! Amazing food! Addicted to their scampi Madras! Watch out it can be spicy! Naan is amazing also!

Very nice place with great service. They bring you some complementary starter to begin with. The food was amazing, I got the vindaloo which was nice and spicy. The atmosphere was also great, inside and outside, one of the few Indian places that's nice for a cute date. If you want to sit outside you should reserve a table in advance.

Very very bad service - Scamming customers We ordered through Uber eats for 6 colleagues. Delivery was slow and food arrived almost cold. They advertise their Tandoori Mixed grill for 19,95 EUR with salad, 2 sauces and naan. However they only delivered the meat, no salad, sauces or naans. After seeing this the restaurant was contacted by phone, they insisted the order was complete, not even acknowledging they made a mistake nor offering a solution. They kept repeating the order was complete and hung up on my colleague. Definitely not recommended. They scam people online. 4 pieces of meat for 20 EUR is a rip off! They should be banned on Uber eats. In reply to the owners reaction: We called the moment we got the food to address the issue. There was no solution offered, the person on the phone acted like the order was complete No offer was made to pick up the naan and salade ourselves. We also didn’t mention the food was good since we called before staring to eat. So even in this reply this restaurant is full of lies.

One of the best places for Indian food that I have eaten in many different cities! Very good staff who speak English well and really care about their customers. I highly recommend this place in terms of food quality and taste, price, staff and experience. Definitely a place to visit in Brussels!

This used to be my favourite Indian in Brussels, however I feel like the quality has really gone down. The appetizers were dry and not very tasty. The main dishes were okay, but not as good as they used to be. We were rather disappointed and probably won't be returning.

This is was one of the closest Indian restaurant to our hostel. The food was okish. Ambience was ok too. We had called for a Britain but they instead gave pilau rice. The main dish that we had ordered was sweet.

Very nice staff, good food. I don't like to peel my scampis and when I mentioned this to our waiter, he asked the cook to peel them for me. Very good experience!

  • 3/5 Eric D. 10 months ago on Google
The service was excellent and the prices were fair, but the two dishes we had were lacking the typical flavors you expect from Indian food. They certainly weren't bad, but just felt like they were catering to the tourist who don't love curry and spices.

Really enjoyed my meal. The autentic indian experience for an affortable price. Cosy interior and friendly staff. Hungry in Brussels? Don't think twice!

  • 1/5 Mohinder P. 1 year ago on Google
Truly awful. Do not eat here. The Samosas were inedible. The pastry was way too thick and reminded me of those you can get from a supermarket. As for the main vegetarian dish. I couldn't recognise any of the vegetables. The gulabjaman was disgusting. The syrup was off and tasted just of oil. It is the restaurant of last resort and only caters to those without any tastebuds.
