The mussels where too little and it is not juice (as Chez Leon). Be aware of the charge of the drink, because we asked for 2 beers, never bring it to us and at the end they almost want to charge us the beers and water (which we do not order). The service is not good. All the stablishement is bit old.

*Intimidating behaviour from staff towards mum with 7-year-old son (title) After a long first day in Bruxelles my son and I felt we were ready for a well-deserved dinner in the centre. We were beckoned in by the owner who was quick to spot us eyeing the menus. I went for the rabbit cooked in beer as I wanted something authentically Belgian, while my son opted for calamari on the saver menu. Having tried the rabbit (I ate a third of the meat) and trying the sauce a few times I told the owner quietly on the side - in my best French, how could I not as a French teacher? - that I was disappointed with the rabbit: it was tough, the sauce had no flavour and the dish lacked love. He walked away looking angry and without saying a word; no apology, no alternative. I then spoke to the other waiter who seemed more understanding when the bill arrived with the rabbit still on it; he said I needed to speak to the owner about the bill. Finally - after being thoroughly ignored by the owner - I suggested the bill could reflect the fact that I wasn't happy with my dish. He said flat out I had to pay for it because I ate it. He went back to the kitchen to bring back the rabbit (30% eaten) and brought the chef. I was told I had to pay; I stayed calm explaining I was more than willing to pay for my son's meal, his drink and my drink but not the rabbit. All sorts of drama ensued at this point - the restaurant had a free evening show at our expense - at which point I picked up our coats and went to leave having never been treated so badly. What I didn't expect was the owner to stand at the door, hand on the handle refusing to let us out without paying. I told him this was bullying and completely unacceptable; I reminded him that my son was watching the whole debacle. I had no option but to pay; the chef kindly knocked off €8 from the bill (half the price of my food) but after being essentially held hostage with no apology whatsoever. Go to this restaurant if you want horrible, frozen seafood and horrible service and remember what the owner is willing to do to make you pay for it.

We stopped by for the mussels after drinks. Food was good. Service was a little lackluster.
