Big thanks to Skye, Brownie & Naomi for making my stay very welcoming. Such a chilled team which you can ask for anything and they give you the best recommendations. Best place to stay to get away from the hustle and bustle. The girls booked and arranged anything I needed to help me build an itinerary for the day. There are many flight of stairs and recommend for travellers who don't carry their kitchen sink. Restaurant, bank and supermarket is basically on your doorstep. Highly recommended :D

Super friendly staff who give you super tips on how to make most of your time in Budapest. Really clean, spacious and comfy room and the hostel was just great in general. The stairs are a struggle with heavy bags but everything else was so good, it even covers that! Had a great experience. 👍👍👍

Staying in a private room with my friend. There are a LOT of steps to get to this hostel, but the staff are friendly and the room was clean. It was fan ventilated but it was very hot and stuffy in the room and even worse in the bathroom. We couldn't leave the window open which would have helped a bit in case it rained as it would go straight on the bed. Also make sure you have some form of torch if arriving/leaving at night as the stairway was only lit half way up

Just got back from our break away in beautiful Budapest. So glad we stayed at the Penthouse Private Hostel, not only is it a brilliant location but it really is home from home. From the minute we walked through the door (after all the stairs lol!) we felt so comfortable. Kristen & Brownie couldn't have been more friendly & helpful. Couldn't knock the cleanliness & we kindly received a bottle of champers on NYE. Would recommend this hostel to anyone! Thanks for an amazing stay girls! Take care xx

Only had one night to spend in Budapest but this beautiful place really made my day in Hungary. The staff were very friendly and offered me lots of information I might needs. Besides, the room is very spacious and clean. Bed is comfortable so I had a nice sleep in. Highly recommend to whoever wants to visit Budapest short term or long term :)

The Hostel is very well located and very clean. Staff are friendly and informative. They leave you bread, milk and eggs for you to cook your own breakfast. The only downsides are the 133 steps you gotta climb up which makes it unpractical and the fact there's not always someone there, especially at 8am when you want to sleep and the phone in the living room(thats the 'reception') keeps ringing non-stop.

Beautiful stay, best hostel experience ever. I came alone, the staff was welcoming and invited me out every night. It's not as hectic as a regular hostel but with the benefit of having a sister party hostel right around the corner. Loved my private balcony on the top floor. Clean bathroom, everything was great!

Comfortable settings, Hostel management & staff fun, caring, and helpful. Great location, love walking around and easy transit access. Clean and organized, lots of activities offered, can join in as much or as little as desired. Only downside is you need to walk Up stairs.

Clean rooms. Friendly staff - helpful with general tourist guidance and helping you get around the city. Took the pain to take around the guests to the local party scene ( check ruin bars). But please know that there are hostel is on 4th floor which can be quite for pain with luggage and even without it after tiring day of walking around the city - you get to know this only after paying the reservation deposit ( the reason for rating it 3 star)
