This is the perfect place to come for a spooky ambiance without sacrificing the quality of the drinks. That being said, each drink we ordered was the right amount of liquor and deliciousness. I like my drinks on the stronger side and this place does it just right. I would definitely come back just to try more of their cocktails. I appreciate that their prices on drinks are on average but of better quality in my opinion. My only reason for docking a star was because the seating we received was kinda terrible. I think a spot like this needs to do better in their seating chart. This is definitely a place you go to for the experience, but a direct view of the bathroom hallway takes away from that.

Drinks were pretty and strong! We had a few dishes and they were pretty good. I liked the atmosphere. It was not crowded at all. Prices were decent. At one point we were left unattended for 20mins or so (This was after I had ordered a drink) I questioned one of the servers and he checked on it aswell as adding more to our order. The new order came out before that drink, which obviously left me believing that the order was never placed. Again they were not crowded and they were well staffed. One thing I noticed, a few groups of people tried to sit with their friends and move chairs around and it was stricly frowned upon. I found that odd from an establishment. Customer is always right, if they want to scoot some empty chairs together why not allow it? Idk that was upsetting to me and I wasn't part of those groups. Seemed like those customers were also upset and didnt stay long. Overall I feel like this is a been there done that type of place and I dont think i will be returning.

Pretty cool place with delicious food and drinks! My friends and I went during the Halloween week when they had a discount for dressing up as the day's theme. The staff are really nice and fun to chat with. Definitely coming back one day!

This is one of the best themed bars we have ever been too. The pictures will speak for them selves so I’m going to talk about the food and drinks. Now first off you have to go with time to spare because you are going to have a very long wait, especially if you want to go inside. However if you have money to spend the food is well worth the wait. The drinks are strong and very reasonable. The food is a little expensive but you let’s be honest. You are paying to eat near a haunted bookshelf. We shared the beef stew and chicken sliders which were to die for. We will definitely be coming again. There are so many more potions to try.

Great place for happy hour! Great, unique cocktails in an incredibly-themed ambience with heavier offerings to tide you over either all night (for the ambitious), or at least until your late-night cravings get the better of you at your next adventure. French Onion Soup and the loaded fries were our favorites. Super cool, unique venue with great drinks and food, what's not to love? Definitely a good place to visit if you have the time and proclivity!

I was on a date in Buena Park and she mentioned this place so we ended up going for a drink. It's an interesting bar. I felt like I was inside a Harry Potter or lord of the rings movie lol there were some near paintings on the wall as well as this mirror that had a pretty cool eye. Underneath the mirror, there's a chimney that's cooking a witches' brew. They also have some wild drinks oh a secret room which you can ask to see a sneak peek lol.

Have you ever been to a witch theme bar? At The Cauldron they definitely have the best spooky atmosphere which matched so well with their enchanted cocktails. Check out that cotton candy cocktail! Their French inspired bites were all on point especially the French onion soup and the prosciutto wrapped shrimp. You also can’t forget about their secret room located behind a bookshelf.

Listen.. absolutely go check this place out! Devastatingly delightful Gothic vibes in this restaurant bar. There's a sparse amount of outdoor tables, and loads inside. It would take multiple trips to take in all of the curios inside. I loved the food and drinks! Appetizer plate portion sizes

This is the 2nd time I've been here and I still really enjoy it. This time i went on a Friday night in November. Was able to make a reservation online about an hour beforehand. It's a unique vibe and a great place to grab a snack and a couple of drinks. They have a hidden room which is perfect for private get together's. To be aware of... Limited parking shared with a Broken Yolk. Very small food selection. It's not a big place, but they are additional outside dining helps. It's in a busy area and can be a little frustrating getting in-and-out from the main road. I was tempted to take a star off because of these issues above, but I personally think it's worth it. Go knowing this is the perfect spot for unique drinks and something to munch on. And parking is fine when the broken yolk is not open.

What unique decor! I was expecting Elvira to walk thru. Beautiful bar, like in merry old England of the 1700's. We had the tastiest turkey meatballs appetizer. They serve specialty drinks and even Creme Brulee! Check them out when you are in Buena Park.

I call this excellent place many times since I like the good mood that is outline this place. The team is very cordial and well trained. The service is remarkablywonderfully quick. Needless to say, the food you get is great. I visited more than once and I was never disappointed. The rate is fair. I suggest this place to to all.

Suggested by a local friend, I did my own homework into the establishment and was very pleased by the simple French fare offered. Sampling the chicken cordon bleu on Hawaiian rolls with a unique mustard sauce that was a pleasant experience, accompanied by the Cat's Paw club soda with cranberry and lemon. Portions were small, but appropriately priced, satisfying to appetite, and filling without a sinking feeling. The outside provided safe distance dining for customers, and outdoor heating was graciously included against the winter atmosphere of night. The interior speaks perfectly of the establishment's name in true classic Halloween witches' decor, with a fantastic lounge-like section with a fireplace, and a magnificent frightening mirror that created magical spooky images of a large eye and ghoulish figures, with various portraits of witches, ghosts and goblins and things that go bump in the night. All in all, a most creative and entertaining dining experience. Merci beaucoup, Cauldron. Success and prosperity to the business, onwards and upwards.

My husband and I went for dinner and drinks to celebrate our anniversary and it was perfect! Clean and friendly, the drinks were amazing and the food was sooooo delicious! I got the Grey Witch cocktail and my husband had the Dragon's Blood beer, we had French Meatballs, prosciutto wrapped shrimp, rosemary chicken and brie crepe and the gruyere cheese and ham crepe (with bacon jam) 🤤🤤🤤 oh my goodness so good, we will definitely be back! Hands down this amazing little gem is totally worth the visit, time, and price. Do you like gothy witchy vibes, excellent crafted cocktails and French cuisine? This is totally your place! I enjoyed the French meatballs in the most adorable little cast iron cauldron with their delicious version of an old fashioned. My bartender Chris was delightful and engaging and even recommended a cocktail he created called the Bloody Forest! It's a scrumptious nexus point between a smoky crafted sipper and a bright summer cocktail! 10/10 would highly recommend anyone who loves this kind of vibe should visit and bring a couple friends!

Amazing gastroesque food. Great prices. Drinks were great , whole party went home stuffed and buzzed. Only thing i suggest is that they start a reservation system, we signed up for their yelp waitlist and it said 40-60 min when we hit the button and it was more like a 75 min wait. They could add more decor, not as immersive as it could be. We went in the rental party room which was in the bookcase and besides walking into the freakin bookcase (omg!) It was not very decorated in the secret room. Lost immersion if you ask me. But the food and drinks more than made up for it. We ate so much and it was amazing.

Been here more than a few times and have always had a good time. Drinks are good, standard cocktails with fun spooky names. Ambiance and decor of the place is top notch and super fun. The staff is friendly and helpful, especially on crowded nights, they have gone out of their way to accommodate us. That all being said, we sat at the bar for the first time last night and it totally dispelled the magic of the place. The bar was absolutely filthy. The back bar had open and empty bottles, cutlery, dish towels, etc strewn about. There was food on the back bar, Oreos, fries, nachos, etc. the bartenders were eating in between making drinks while dirty dishes piled up. I found out that all of the bartenders free pour their cocktails which would explain the inconsistency I’ve experienced with the drinks. I don’t want to talk bad about the staff, but guys, please clean up the back bar. It’s gross. Especially with Covid and all that, to have a bartender eat in front of you and then make peoples drinks without washing hands or anything is tacky. Management needs to clean this up. That all being said, our drinks were great and at a fair price and everyone had a great time. Still recommend this place as a fun and unique experience. Management, please respond to my review acknowledging it and I’ll edit it.

Super fun place qith cool witchy vibe. I got the voodoo lemonade and it's pretty good. I would definitely get it again. Also got chocolate creme Brulee and it was amazing. We came at like 845ish and it seemed a little crowded already(on a thursday) but we were seated promptly. Seems a little small inside but definitely cozy. Food all seems to be small bites like appetizer sized plates but a friend got the filet mignon bites and it smelled so good and was also delicious. Definitely somewhere to come back and bring a group to have a little party in their "secret room" also they have a "secret" drink menu that the staff somewhat repeats off of memory so be sure to ask about it.!

This bar had been on my list for awhile because I like spooky things. It was a nice time but I'm not sure I'd go out of my way to go back. The drinks were fairly priced but my drink didn't taste like what it was listed as. The bartenders were very friendly and attentive at first but at the end I couldn't get anyone's attention to get my check. The decor was cute but didn't feel overly spooky. Overall a decent bar but it didn't stand out to me.

Well I want to say the staff is very friendly and attentive and give great suggestions, thanks 🥰 I tried the most amazing cocktails 🍸 on Mother’s Day called “Knotty Kid” it was like a Martini that was poured over Cotton Candy delicious 😋 and it had a bang alcoholic flavor great buzz 😉 The ambiance is like stepping back in time, lol 😂 I felt like I was in a Harry Potter movie 🎥 so cool 😎 The food menu had lots of selections which was a great. Went for the first time on a little date and had a blast here. Really lovely interior, interesting drinks, excellent food. I loved the Golden Girl but next time I'm gonna try the Knotty Kid. Caesar salad was genuinely delicious.

What a fun place. The theam drinks are well thought out and the staff did a great job helping. Me find the perfect drink. They offered a wrapping shrimp plate and wow... it's amazing. The sauce was house made and delightful. I will definitely come here again soon.

Loved this place. There is a lot of outdoor seating and regular indoor seating, including the bar. We were sat outside and got lucky enough to get the fire pit. I liked the witches brew and something named Kid, its made with cotton candy. They bring you the glass with cotton candy fluff and then pour the drink over it. Really cool to watch. The kitchen closes early, around 10pm for a Friday but still open for drinks until 1pm I believe. All in all, great place for drinks. Oh and the vibe is witchy gothic but the attire is casual. Try it if you're in the area.
