Yayy don’t have to go to icon city for a great English breakfast! I’ve always loved their coffee but this is my second time trying their breakfast since Twitterians hyped their breakfast so much. Guess what? It’s worth every penny. The spicy jalapeno bagel, cream cheese & salmon with salad & dressing on side really goes well with each other. Thank God they trained the chef well, I was afraid if the chef make them carelessly. The vanilla latte deserves another level of love!! The bitterness & the amount of milk is just perfect for me. I’m not the terpaling kopi but I also hate it if the coffee is too sweet. Hence, this is the best place for your go-to coffee. Guess what? Tea during breakfast is refreshing too! I took lemon chamomile. You don’t even need extra sugar to enjoy every sip of them. Definitely a whole level of breakfast here. Did i mentioned the carrot cake that I forgot to take the picture? Oh my goddd! It is sooo good. Balance of the sweetness and crunchy walnut inside definitely make your tastebud partying inside! The only downside is mahal sikit la. Once in awhile okay je.

Ample parking space here. This is a new building in Permatang Pauh, near Taman Pauh Jaya. The Coffee Beans and tea leaf eatery in front of Mydin Seberang Jaya has a relax ambience. Good for the soul... 👍🏻, l like the place.

ILL MANNERED STAFF I was rudely treated by one of your staffs named, (FATIN) at The Coffee Bean (Gravitas Penang, Jalan Baru, 13700 Perai). I have just finished buying food from another store next to your outlet and planned to get a drink to go. The staff presumed that I was going to eat there and instead of informing me she started whispering to a few of her other colleagues and acting completely unprofessional. I was unhappy with her demeanor and asked for her name from another staff that was taking my order. Upon realizing this, she acted even more rude (preparing the order in rough manner, throwing items loudly protesting that I have taken her name). I understand any food outlet company’s policy not to bring outside food and I am okay if I were to be reprimanded by doing so. However, I was just carrying my take away food into your store to order a drink to go as well and have it at the comfort of my house. What is wrong with that? Even if she is not happy with it, she can politely ask me and I will be happy to explain. A hostile environment is the last place a paying customer would wanna be. Therefore kindly train your staff to be more mindful of their actions as they represent the company’s big name

This place is big and placed at a very strategic place. Love the ambience....cool, calm, full of soothing decors, and really peaceful. I enjoyed their Chai(Tea). It was damn good. Gave a pleasant taste to my senses especially to my taste buds due to the infused mild taste of herbs. I have always enjoyed their big portion food that comes with value for money.

Good atmosphere, not crowded and place is clean. Staff are also friendly and food is good. Recommended to visit this outlet.

I went there this afternoon around 12pm and ordered aglio olio with smoked salmon. The pasta tasted weird but at first I couldnt figure out what was it hence refraining myself from complaining. Ate it anyway since I already paid almost 30ringgit for it. Left one-half on the plate as it was too unbearable to finish, later came to a realization that it was actually slightly spoilt and I had diarrhea soon after with lingering nausea. Please be more honest and responsible in serving your food and beverages.

Friendly service, nice environment but aircond abit too cold 😅 tried the cardamom vanilla cold brew without sugar which was good.

Ordered hazelnut Americano. It was delicious. Environment was comfortable. Only problem is their wi-fi is slow.
