Not a good place to hold events. Lot’s of childish rules and security focuses on petty things instead of looking out for thieves and thefts. Manager simply comes and scolded promoters and pushed away stuffs without discussing the reason it was at its original place. Space provided was very small. Overall, it sucks. Even the food here is expensive. Rice + fried chicken + gravy = RM15+ (does not included drinks)

Ample parking lots but only single way in and out. Consist of the 2 storey anchor Mydin wholesale hypermarket and other shop lots but many unoccupied shops. Also available bowling alley, cats petting shop, few restaurants and etc.

Service Branch Bukit Mertajam is very terrible. Counter is almost 30 2nd floor and 1st floor but only 5 counter totally is opening. We chose weekdays and the office hours to avoid any delays and crowded but they have a smart management system which will make sure their customers suffer and feel like we shouldn't be at this place at all times anymore.

Went for some grocery purchase. Product selections was huge. Not so busy, almost all lot with tenants. Didin't go at top floor though. Main atrium not having any event. But their screen was playing Zakat short video / ads. Parking was ample. Toilet was clean. Many eateries for dine in. Their security personnel greeted me upon my entry. Cheers!!

Update : Compliment to the management for rectifying this issue. I've went there again and this time they allowed me to bring my bag in, again with my laptop too. A senior staff (male) just simply direct us to the cashier, but the cashier couldn't served us, then v were directed to another counter. The items for Mykasih were not indicated, so they have to pick at random, when at the cashier, she rejected several items. Now the Mykasih costomers had to go back to get the entitled items. This caused a long queue, which shouldn't be happened. A more qualified person have to replace the present incharge.

Last month I went to buy clothes and hijabs, I was disappointed the shirt I bought was no zip, the hijab I bought, the sweet fell when I Wash. Mydin sells poor quality.And did not take care of the client.

I humbly like to grocery shopping here most of the time. You can find almost everything here-you name it! Also, it is pretty spacious so maintaining social distancing while doing your shopping is somewhat enjoyable and a piece of cake here. The atmosphere here is uplifting and calming with a good choice and up-to-date music, I’d say. Overall, it's an excellent place to do your whatever shopping here. I went the other day to change 2 items i have bought the previous day. The customer service personnel gave me 2 cash vouchers as replacement for the faulty items. When i went to pay at the cashier counter, i passed the vouchers to the cashier and the cashier asked me back " 2 vouchers"? Fine after that she was running back and forth to ask another male cashier, i was in a hurry because i needed to be in Penang Island by 7.15pm and these 2 seemed lost cashier was wasting all my time and made me look like a fool. Another thing is tht one of these scale i took had 3 different bar codes and i believed she charged me with the most expensive one. It took me around 30 minutes to pay and exit the security check post right at Mydin exit. I will never recommend this Mydin outlet if you are rushing to get any last minute item because the workers will make you seemed like a fool even after i mentioned "i am in a hurry"

Mydin Bukit Mertajam is a very big building which has many shopping outlets inside it such as the Chicken Rice Shop , food court , Warisan Mee Tarik etc. We were hungry so we went here to fill our empty stomach. Surprisingly, Bukit Mertajam is a 'dead city'. It was our first time coming to Bukit Mertajam. After asking some people, they recommended that we came here if we want to eat.
